Got my haircut for the first time ever at Ciao Bella and I have to say - the entire experience was amazing! First of all, I'm new to the area and visiting Ciao Bella was my first time in Ridgefield. Driving through the beautiful town as I made my way to the salon really set the tone for the experience I was about to have. Although the physical location was a little hard to find (mainly because I wasn't familiar with the area) I was so happy when I realized there was ample free parking. Upon walking in to the salon I was greeted by the friendly and warm receptionist and asked to fill out a two page but simple questionnaire. I could tell right from there that this salon takes customer service and their environment very seriously. I felt welcomed and pampered even after the first two minutes. When approached by my designer Chelsea, I again received an extremely warm welcome and an authentic 'I'm so happy you came in today!'. She walked me up to her chair (the salon is a little small but I think they did an amazing job situating all of the stations and really maximized their space for comfort and functionality). What really impressed me about this experience was Chelsea's ability to make a connection with me, listen to and execute perfectly what I wanted from this haircut, and meticulously explained all of the products/processes she was using on my hair and why. Again, from start to finish I could really tell this salon strives to make their clients comfortable and to have an unparalleled experience. So needless to say, the hour I spent there was the best salon experience I've ever had. I highly recommend Ciao Bella and especially Chelsea for a wash/cut/blow dry. Wow! I had a last minute interview and the salon I'd been going to was closed for vacay. I've been to many salons in town but decided to risk going to Caio Bella Salon for the first time based on reviews I read. I needed a cut, blow dry, and color for my roots. I was paired with Rachel and she is fantastic! I haven't left a salon this happy in years! Caio Bella has an excellent color line (my hair is very hard to color as it can lift red.) Rachel expertly matched my dark roots to the honey dark blonde color I have. And I love my haircut & blow dry!! Rachel fixed the horrid dog ears, shaped my hair (tends to b curly) so it has swing & movement & the real mark of a great cut? My hair air drys beautifully! I can't wait to see Rachel for highlights! I am so grateful that I finally found someone who can cut, color, and blow dry without my leaving the salon feeling depressed & looking 10 yrs older than I am. I have been a customer at Ciao Bella now for 5+ years and have many different services including hair cuts, blow outs, color, up-do's, etc., all which have been fantastic from several of the stylists! Monika is great with all different types of hair and coloring, including specialty colors, and ombre coloring. Leslie is great with cuts and knows how to perfect a blow out. The receptionists are great and are willing to work with you to accommodate your schedule, and will accept 'walk-ins' when ever possible! Melissa, the owner, goes out of her way to accommodate and make every guest feel comfortable and satisfied. I have yet to try some of the other stylists but I have heard and seen nothing but positive feedback and happy customers. Prices are reasonable and much less expensive then the other salons in town. Overall such a great salon that I will continue to trust with my hair! read more

Growing up in Ridgefield I have tried many salons in the area. It took up until the past year to finally have a positive hair salon experience. By far, I have been so lucky with Monika at Ciao Bella. She not only listens to what I have to say, but actually does what I want her to do. If I say a dusting off the bottom and Elmira hair, thats what I get when I leave. She is always so pleasant and kind. Monika takes her time and is very thorough. Never rushes through my cuts or colors and time is never an issue. I would rather her take her time, than be rushed in and out. Monika has saved me from ever being botched by one of the other "popular" salons again! Even living outside of Ridgefield, the drive to town is well worth the overall experience Ciao Bella has to offer! read more

I've been driving down to Ridgefield from Boston to the Ciao Bella Salon for over 3 years to have my hair cut my Monika and Leslie. I have SUPER curly hair and cannot tell you the amount of times I've left a salon in Boston crying, to only drive 3-hours to have Monika fix my botched cut. Both her and Leslie are SUPER thorough and are amazing at blowing out my kinky (and frizzy) locks. You can't go wrong with anyone at Ciao Bella Salon, but I can personally vouch for these two gals. I have been going to this salon for years as well as taking my three daughters here. We always walk out with just the style we asked for. We usually see Melissa but have seen some of the other hairdressers. They are all great and always willing to take the time to make our hair look just as we want. Having three daughters we are on a bit of a budget and I find their pricing always to be reasonable. I highly recommend this salon! read more

Honestly perfect. I am so beyond happy about how happy my hair turned out after a year of not getting my hair colored I visited Ciao Bella Salon to get a new look for the fall and winter.
