Upon checking with brow specialists , I was told that microblading isn't effective over tattoos. Veronica should have known this or she knew and took me for a ride. Not only was the result unnoticeable but she didn't honor the 6 week touch up session. She just didn't return my repeated calls. So unprofessional. She tried to take my money but, lucky for me, I took action and got my money back. Think twice before you give this one your business. She probably had friends post the good reviews.

I no longer need to spend 10 minutes trying to draw the perfect shape. Thanks to Veronica I wake up with The perfect shape! Veronica is very professional and probably one of the nicest people I've ever met. She encouraged me with positivity throughout the entire process and made sure I was confident with the shape and color before starting. Her workspace is very clean, warm and comfortable. Veronica converses openly throughout the entire process which makes the time feel much shorter. I AM SO HAPPY with the results. I used to get made fun of for over plucking my brows but now I can say I have beautiful brows. THANK YOU VERONICA.

If you have brown skin beware! I had the most inhumane…read moreexperience at Nashes Lashes with the owner Judy. She has never been warm to me but I really love Amy so I just kept going. But Judy, never thanked me for a tip. The whole time she's being mean to me she is trying to sell me products. Greedy. Anyway, this doomsday, I felt rushed from the time I entered until the time I left. But while I was getting my procedure done, I could hear her laughing with the customers, so jolly and cheerful. I could also hear them at the counter blabbing, taking their time. Anyway, I usually get a lip wax after Amy does my lashes. When Amy was done I had to pee so bad. Anyway, here comes Judy, I was barely off of the bed and she said come, come NOW! Not allowing me to pee but that's when I said enough is enough. I am a loyal customer and a great tipper. So after my lip wax I used the bathroom and when I came out she was pacing around waiting for me. So when I went to pay she rushed me so bad and pretty much kicked me lout saying you call for your next appt. Are you kidding me? I just heard you kee-keeing it with the white customers. I am not someone to blame everything on racism BUT IT WAS A BLATENT DISRESPECT TO ME. In all of my 62 years I have never been treated this way by anyone much less from someone who I am paying!!! As much as I like Amy I will never give them a dime of my hard earned money! Beware!

My daughter discovered this nail location over a year ago. I was using someone around the corner…read moreand was not very satisfied. My daughter would pick out The most technical and crazy designs that she would find on the internet; she would be delighted when they achieved the same results. She was always thrilled and elated with her nails, the look, and the amount of time that they would last. Her nails were always strong and vibrant. She bought me a gift certificate so I would try. So now-I too have been coming here to Vnails continuously and faithfully. I do the powder gel- I have no patience waiting for my nails to dry. I am much more traditional than my daughter and often get various types of French manicures. Ex. Yellow/white, Ombré, a simple flower or heart on a single nail . My nails easily last three weeks. I get bored of what I have chosen faster than there need for replacement. The service is fantastic and everyone speaks English. You never feel out of place or that someone is taking behind your back in a language you don't understand. When and if a nail does break they are extremely accommodating. The technicians are always warm and welcoming. They offer a free mini massage if wanted. Plus the place is immaculate!!! On a plus note the owner lives in the town. Her husband owns a restaurant next door. They are truly vested into the area. Excellent!!!!!

I had the most wonderful experience at Gigi's 3 weekends ago. I needed a mani-pedi, eyebrow waxing…read moreand makeup application for a wedding and was coming from out of town so didn't know where to go. Gigi's didn't have a lot of reviews but all the feedback I read was excellent so I decided to try it out. So many positives: Gigi herself took the booking and was wonderfully warm, helpful and caring. She made sure a makeup artist would be available and called me back to confirm. Everyone at the salon was friendly, kind and attentive. I was using a cane after hip surgery and they were very considerate about my comfort and safety. Apologies in advance if I got some of the names wrong in the next section.... Pedi: Veronica did a great job! Only minor complaint was that pushing back the cuticle was painful---maybe more soaking and cuticle softener needed. Massage chair was great BTW! Brow waxing (Ashley): friendly and very nice, listened carefully to what I wanted, didn't remove too much, very considerate about potential discomfort (it was a breeze!). Brows looked terrific! Makeup (Melissa): absolutely wonderful. Such a nice person as well as knowledgeable, skilled and flexible to adjust to my preferences. She explained every product she was using and what she was doing, gave tips along the way and answered my many questions. I learned a lot, had fun, and the makeup was beautiful! Nails (Diana): what a consummate professional as well as a truly lovely person. She did a meticulous job on my gel manicure --- it turned out great and I kid you not, has not chipped or peeled in three, count 'em, three weeks! In fact, I waited to write my review until today so I could include a 3-week photo! Plus, Diana makes a delicious cinnamon coffee! As a bonus, Gigi's husband Link2Link (his professional name, he's a musician) had a lively and interesting conversation with my husband while he was waiting. I can't say enough good things about Gigi's! Wait, another plus: it's located in the strip mall next to the Hotel Zero Degrees in Norwalk. Couldn't be more convenient if you're staying there---check it out! Gigi's only opened in September 2021 so I hope they continue to grow their clientele. If I lived in the area, Gigi's would be my go-to salon for all my beauty needs, hands down (if you'll pardon the pun!).
