Today I went in for eyebrow tinting and was EXTREMELY upset. First off she didn't wipe off my make up on my eyebrow n went right in with the tint. I didn't think much of it becuz I figured she knew what she was doing. I have gone to this threading salon many times and I ALWAYS leave disappointed. I went in last week and clarified with the girl that I wanted nothing but a clean-up. She responded back to me 'ok, I will only remove new growth and leave everything else.' She completely thinned out my brows, totally threading off my arch and completely messed up my eyebrows. This location is inside the HIP. Poor service... I went in to get my eyebrows threaded, they were done in less than two minutes and they didn't even shape them. I was the only one there so it wasn't like they needed to be in a hurry :( The worse part of the experience is the girl who threaded my eyebrows was really sick, snotting and blowing away. I've been coming here for a couple of years now. The ladies here, especially the ones at the cashier, have always been rude to me. I really came back because of a particular lady that would do my eyebrows, but really it was a hit or miss with her too. If sweety wants to listen to your requests she will or otherwise she'll just do whatever. I always say to leave them thick and they always come back thin. I really won't be coming back here after this last time that she was very rude. I understand people have long days at work but at least try when you see a returning customer. OMG so bad. I have been going there for years. I never had a problem till today. First the girl never said a word to me after I said hello & explained i couldn't use my tongue to tighten my lip tissue due to tongue cancer. Not a word. Then she messed up my eyebrows so badly that half of one of my brows is missing. I look like Hitler is on my brow. then they had enough to tell me no charge. really? you think? I went to this place a day before Thanksgiving I went in for eyelashes mink ones too 40$ ones and they completely messed up my eyelashes the glue too stick lashes individually was burning my eye the person doing them kept pulling it off cause it would not stay cause my eyes were tearing already once she was done I took a look at them and was not pleased at all I asked too speak with the manager because I disliked how they placed the lashes and plus my eyes were irritated she told me that they did not look out of line so what did I want to do cause I'm wasting her time they would take them off free but I would still have to pay my eyebrows that I had gotten done they sat me outside in the area were they do eyebrows just to have me slouched with some type of liquid on my lashes to remove them she then handed me a fan placed in my hand and said keep eyes closed when they start burning turn the fan on !! Seriously how would I be able to turn it on with my eyes closed is what I said all they did was laugh !!! They told me it would take 15min no I was slouched there at least an hour just to remove the last 2 pieces of lashes I told them let me go I will wipe them off myself and how much would they charge me for those last 2 once she wiped my eye they came off !!!after an hour then I was left with residue on my lashes my eyes puffy and irritated and my real lashes were hard and glue stuck on them this service should not be done on any other individual they need too STOP or don't have lash service there at all after that bad experience and that 1 hour slouched just to remove 2 pieces of lashes the lady still had the audacity to still charge me the 10$ for my eyebrows and after they nipped me on both sides too bad bad customer service and experience ! read more

I've been supporting this place since they were a booth in the mall. They've done my eyebrows since I was old enough to get them done. I even moved an hour away and still drove out to get them done by her. I never had an issue. Recently though they've been very stuck up and rude to the point where you leave feeling like absolute trash. The last time I went Jalpa (my usual lady) messed my eyebrows up so badly I left crying. I had grown them out for two months to get a thick look and was insecure about it so I was excited to finally do them. I told her my usual and told her to leave them thick. She clipped one eyebrow shorter than the other with a different shape and thinned them out very badly. When I saw my eyebrows I was horrified. She was busy threading and talking and gossiping to the other ladies between my threading that she didn't know what she was doing. She kept sniffling I guess she was sick and honestly I'm not one to judge but it was gross considering the thread is in her mouth and touching me. I felt germ infested. I went back to get them fixed and she gave me a major attitude as if it were my fault they were messed up. The front desk lady is also very very ignorant. And like I said I'm not one to judge but come on if you're dealing with the public at least have some decent customer service. But I'm mostly upset over Jalpa because I've been a loyal customer to her for years and I've always been generous with her and nice and suddenly she's this stuck up monster who doesn't know how to do eyebrows. Definitely won't go there again. Their service SUCKS. And my eyebrows are still shitty because of the damage. Save yourself the money and get them done elsewhere. Oh and tip: don't ask for wax. Gave them a second shot and the second lady on your left side of the salon was so rude to me, she kept pushing my hard down my eyelid not even car fully. I was there on a Friday, had the same lady whose done my eye brows many times and she was great. I wanted to try the eyelash extensions for a wedding I was attending, so they told me that they open at 9:30 Saturday to come, and they it'll take about 20 min. As I was leaving she said there will be 3 workers who do the eye lash..everyone heard loud and clear what she was telling! I get there and the lady says, the one doing eye lashes is running late please come back 10 sharp. When the worker finally arrives, she comes in with an attitude-gives her co-worker attitude then turns to me and says that she can't do any eyelash extensions today! Then she's talking louder in her own language, then turns at me and says if you want to come back at 11, I can probably to do it but no promises! Unprofessional. Rude. And Bad attitude! I have been going to Threading Concepts for years, and I can't find a threading/waxing place with better service! The first thing I always notice is the welcoming nature of the front desk upon arrival; they always have a smile on their face, offer me water, and reassure me that I'll get the best service. I've know the staff members for years and would recommend getting services done with any of them. They take their time, and shape your eyebrows to perfection, even if there are many others waiting. I usually get brows, waxing, and eyelash extensions done with Sweety, Jalpa, Sunita, and Richa, but in complete honesty, they are all amazing and trained professionals. Definitely worth the wait, even on weekends! By talking to them, I know they are hard working team members, single mothers, and minorities. It is an amazingly supportive community, and a small business I have always appreciated. I noticed their support for the Black Lives Matter Movement. So necessary and morally/politically correct! I went to get my eyelash extensions, and the same day they fell off, I went back the next day to get refills and the girl who was doing them said it was my fault... Came home after they re-applied the refills and I noticed the sloppy job they did. They also did my sisters eyebrows and left one of her eyebrows shorter than the other. They are so unprofessional and rude and disrespectful here . I been coming for 6 years with sweety & she's so wonderful always is busy and booked . How ever last time I came with a friend I asked for sweety and she was on break & I arrived at 2:40 . OWNER said sweety will be back in 15 mins but she has a client for lashes . She told me she wouldn't be able to take us . Then I asked what time is sweety appointment she explained at 3:30 I told her she has enough time for 2 people for eyebrows since it only takes 10 mins or less per client . For some reason the owner was very rude and didn't want us to wait for her I think she wanted us to choose another eyebrow tech at the moment . The owner rudely kicked us out because we told her it wasn't okay for her to not let us wait for sweety . After that I came back and an eyebrow lady I'm used to seeing came to me an apologized me for the incident and told me they care about their customers being happy and that it was a mistake on the owners part and that they apologize . Prior to starting the service I let her do my eyebrows for being so nice and sweety wasn't available so I gave her a try, before starting she asked me what do I want my eyebrows like and I showed her . Shorty after she did exactly what I didn't want which was a round shape and not arched she left my eyebrow very thin almost no hair left when I told her I didn't like if she could fix she got so offended and told me I deserve everything the owner told me and that she is no longer sorry. I had Nancy fixing them and she did such a great job she's next to sweety I have no problem with the eyebrow lady she could of just told me she couldn't do my eyebrows nicely arched and she can only do round shape my eyebrows are everything to me which is why I only trust one person but the staff here so so unprofessional and inconsiderate .
