Unfortunately, my experience was completely ruined by an administrative and billing oversight that ended up costing me significantly out of pocket. Prior to my first visit, I confirmed with both my insurance and this office that they were in-network. I obtained a referral from my primary care doctor and presented it to the front desk at my first appointment. They accepted the paperwork without question and proceeded with my treatment. It wasn't until after my second visit--and after having my primary doctor redo and resubmit the referral--that I learned the initial paperwork accepted by the front desk was invalid. Despite making numerous attempts to resolve this with billing, filing an appeal with my insurance, and escalating the issue directly to the practice manager, the office refused to take responsibility. My insurance company confirmed that the practice should never have accepted improper documentation or proceeded without valid authorization. Because of their front-desk mistake, both of my visits were processed out-of-network, leaving me stuck with a very expensive bill. It is incredibly disappointing that practice management wouldn't own up to an administrative error made by their own staff. While the medical care is good, the lack of billing integrity and customer accountability makes it hard to recommend this practice. Protect your wallet and double-check everything yourself if you choose to go here.

Rather than trying to resolve the issue or look into what may have gone wrong, she repeatedly insisted that I did not have an appointment. When I suggested she check with the staff member who handled scheduling that day, she dismissively stated she didn't need to "have a conversation about something that never happened." At that point, the situation became less about the appointment and more about her approach. Her tone was condescending and unprofessional. When she said, "Anyways, so you were supposed to have an appointment at 10:30?" it felt dismissive and disrespectful--especially given that I was calmly trying to explain and provide proof. As a medical professional of 14 years, I understand that scheduling errors can happen. However, how those situations are handled is what matters. I would never speak to a patient this way, especially in a healthcare setting where empathy and professionalism should be the standard. Because of this interaction alone, I chose to leave and not proceed with the appointment. I was asked to provide my ethnicity and a copy of my driver's license before they would see me. None of this was discussed when I booked the appointment. Had I known in advance that this information would be required, I could have made an informed decision before making the drive. When I questioned why my race was necessary for what was supposed to be a simple facial -- not surgery -- I was told they "needed to know my race to determine my skin type." That explanation did not sit well with me. Skin type can be evaluated professionally without reducing it to race. Because I was uncomfortable with the additional undisclosed requirements, I chose to walk out. Transparency matters. If certain documents or demographic information are mandatory, that should be clearly communicated before taking a deposit and having clients travel significant distances. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed and frustrated.
