Very overpriced hair color I don't recommend this place go somewhere else the service is bad

Patty fit my daughter in for a same day appointment, she took her time and did a great job and gave my daughter the exactl hair cut she wanted! Thank you read more

I really like it here. It has an easygoing yet professional vibe. Everyone is very friendly, and Patty, who cares for my hair, is very knowledgeable, thorough, and nice. She listens to my needs whether color, cut, or other hair care areas, and does a great job delivering. During covid Jadore took extreme ongoing measures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the business. Everyone wore masks (the correct way) and observed social distancing. What else, I have purchased and used their hair care products and they are very good. I actually had bought the brand in Cali and this was the first place I saw it for sale in midwest. In sum I highly recommend Jadore Hair Studio. Between all the team, you will find whatever specific hair treatment or styling you may need. read more

I have been going to Ela for decades! She is impeccable! Professional, experienced and with a welcoming personality. I love the salon, it's decor with lots of street parking. Ela's expertise with color and cuts is impressive. Customer service and responsiveness is what other stylist should strive for. I can't recommend ELA enough! read more

This is the best salon for highlights, color, cut, and a blowout. Ella and both Pattys are all extremely skilled. I always get compliments on my hair. My hair is thick, long, and curly which is usually a recipe for disaster at other salons. I always walk out with the most amazing blowout aka no frizz. They are also great at giving recommendations if you are unsure and just want a change. read more

Went here to fix my color after getting a haircut. The stylist was like sure I can fix it. Why did I walk out of there with a stripe and they charged me full price. Kicking myself for paying. I'll never go back. read more

I did not have a good experience here. The woman who cut my hair, did not listen to me at all. I was in the process of growing out an undercut hairstyle, so my sides were shaved and the top was long almost to my chin. I just want to get the top cut in the back and on the sides to help blend my hair, and get some layers in it. When I was explaining to her where I parted my hair when it wasn't all flipped over to one side, she took out her clippers and started to SHAVE that side of my hair that was long! I had to stop her in the middle of it. I had no words. So then she had to go much shorter than I wanted to in the back to try and make it look somewhat ok. She left the back of my hair a mess and was uneven. This woman butchered my hair and I've had to go somewhere else to have them fix it. Not good, I would not recommend this place. read more

Absolutely horrible! They don't listen to want you want. If you show them a picture of want you want they will ruin it. They seemed nice but I don't think they care about their clients. I won't even get to their prices. I don't care for an expensive place but the job has exactly what I want. The owner knew that it wasn't what I want but she just avoided me. I just moved into the neighborhood looking for a great place and this location had good rating. Totally disappointed. read more

Thee absolute worst hair place. Avoid Avoid Avoid this place. I would leave zero stars if I could. Worst cut and color I have ever gotten.

I had my hair highlighted with Ela and she did an amazing job! She's given me the look that I had always been looking for. She was not only attentive but prompt. I wish I would've seen her sooner either way I have my go to for my hair appointments. read more

Ela has been my hair-stylist for about 10 years, no matter where I moved or she moved. Why? Because she's simply the best! I've NEVER had a bad experience or a bad hair style with her. She knows what fits my face & gives advise on what I can pull off & what I should stay away from. This location, on Harlem, is beautifully updated & super welcoming. From the gorgeous light fixtures, to the eco-friendly toilet (). And their prices are ALWAYS REASONABLE! Hardworking folks built this & work here and it really shows how much they love what they do. read more

My 1st time experience was surprising. I went in for a retouch and basically to fix my hair since it was like a rainbow. Patty took care of me and she did a fabulous job. She is super nice and professional I have no complaints of. I do have tons of hair and it is super long. She did a great job. I am aware of the longer the more money but I was extremely shocked when it came down to paying. Patty asked Ela and to my surprise ela charged me $495.00 for what? I was in shock yes Patty was awesome I am at least very happy with the outcome but the price. I've never paid more than 190 for my hair. I stopped by the following day kind of get a reason why I paid that much and I was told by Ela that they used a lot of toner and bleach on my hair. Still did not answer my question. I did not even get a cut, I can only imagine how much would I have paid for the cut included. Ela did end up giving me a conditioner and shampoo she said it was worth $60. But it still does not compensate the almost $500 dollars I paid for the services. I felt like she was taking advantage of me and that she was being very greedy. I think I will take my ass back to Gallery of hair. Upset because I really loved Patty's work too bad she has a greedy boss. read more

I love it here so much! I always walk out super satisfied. I usually see Paty Diaz but Ela & Patty ( yes they have two Patty's !) have also worked on my hair & it's not an easy task! I have really thick and long hair and they are always so patient and friendly. I started as a client at their original location & followed them after they moved to their beautiful new studio on Harlem. I have gone from super dark, to bright red, to blonde & I have loved each time !! Thank you ladies! read more

I had an appointment today for a haircut and treatment at 4:30 I walked in with my 7 year old little girl and canceled my treatment that would've taken 30 mins to an hour including shampoo and and styling to add my daughter for a trim. 2 women were open and available including the lady for my appt., but were talking amongst each other before they would answer me if they would accept my daughter as a walk in. They made me wait for a response to the point where it was an awkward moment so I asked again. Still I'm waiting and when I ask again she tells me we can take you but not your daughter as she looks at my daughter like a racist bitch. We are Puerto Rican and it was soo obvious they didn't want to take care of me. I canceled my appointment and will never go back to this salon. Their customer service and work ethic is disgusting. read more

I absolutely love this place, all of the technicians are such sweet women and the salon is absolutely gorgeous! The prices for the services are hard to beat! Little Patty, is amazing at what she does. I have been a loyal customer for a good 2 years. Every time I switch my hair color I can trust patty with my hair, she never disappoints me. Great experience, both re my stylist Patty and the very attractive, clean, & relaxing salon. My fine, thin hair badly needed styling & a perm I showed Patty a couple of pictures showing the general style I hoped for. She did a really super job and I'm delighted with the result. This is my stylist & salon from now on. The cost less than I'd expected, and everything else above what I'd expected. They even have a nice-size parking lot. Ela has been the only person I let touch my hair for about the past 6-7 years! She is absolutely amazing and somehow always knows exactly what I want when it comes to my usual highlights, cuts or even the many weddings she has styled my hair for over the years. I have recommended many friends and family to see her and they constantly rave about her services! I have one girlfriend who drives over an hour just to have Ela cut and color her hair. Ela is not only my stylist but has become such a great friend over the years and I have had the pleasure of watching her grow, following her from a few different locations, and to now owning her own salon. If you are second guessing heading into J'adore just call and make an appointment already! Thank you Ela and team for always welcoming me with a smile! read more

I have to say I feel pretty guilty for not writing this review a few years ago, this review is long overdue! I came to J'Adore Hair Studio because of my sister's stellar recommendation of our hair stylist, Little Paty! I'm always one to go thru Yelp for reviews on any business, review, but not really contribute. But like I said before, this is long overdue. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you've known these awesome stylists since forever! They always offer refreshments and great advice for hair treatment going forward. I've brought some pretty crazy request to Paty and she's always kind and gives me professional advice in terms of color and cut! I feel like I can talk about anything, and she's got such a positive attitude and a great sense of humor! She always remembers the little details, which means ALOT to any customer! They used to be at the Brickyard location, but they have moved to a brand new and beautiful new location on Harlem. I love the new colors, new lighting, you feel so pampered! To be honest, if they moved anywhere else, I would make the time to go, because the service is impeccable! I love this new location and it was very easy to find parking! Whenever I walk out of here, it's like my hair has received new life! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment for any type of hair treatment or even just a haircut, you won't regret it! I'll be a happy customer for years to come! :) read more

I would highly recommend going to Jadore. The girls do such great hairstyling from curly to straight. You name it. Also, I would suggest Cynthia. She does phenomenal facials. I recently got a signature facial with the dermaplanning which exfoliates skin and gets rid of vellus hair. My skin felt so smooth and glowed! Especially with the blueberry mask she applied on my skin. Please go to Jadore And get your hair done and a facial by Cynthia. read more
