If I'm being honest, my request was full on stanning, but I just really wanted Luka to know that I thought their work was beautiful and hoped we could work together. Days leading up to the appointment, Luka was very clear in their communication with me. The appointment itself was great. It was very nice to explore all kinds of topics with Luka, while quiet time was sweetly woven in. We even shared the lunch break together. I scheduled an appointment a half hour before he was supposed to go trick-or-treating with his kids and he patiently waited while I spent the first 15 minutes crying in the car. The remaining 15 minutes went by so quickly, yet none of it felt rushed even though I had wasted a lot of his time. Tony was friendly, patient, professional, and continuously talked to me and joked around to lighten the mood and after I almost passed out, he laid down the table and quickly gave me cold compresses. I walked into High Street and the guys were nothing but kind from Chris at the front desk to Charlie 'Chuck' who I spoke with about getting some work done. Charlie and I hit it off immediately he's been in the game only 4 years and his work is amazing! He's the kindest guy I have ever worked with and I am grateful that he is my go to guy for my personal tattoos. Charlie taught me the ins and outs of the tattoo industry what I really respect. One that stuck out to me the most was 'Shop Loyalty' which means yes I get most of my tattoos done by Charlie but it's perfectly ok getting other work done by other guys within High Street. They are all so talented! Why limit yourself? One of my favorite things about Charlie is not only does he read my mind with what I want done (haha) but that he is a tattooer and will tattoo out of his wheelhouse and tattoo most anything to make someone's day.
