This is my warning to parents. Don't take your children here. My daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and her friend recommended this place. As parents my wife and I strive to teach our kids the skills they need to be great adults, including allowing them to make their own decisions. She had saved the money and wanted to go here. So that's what we did; my wife and I and our daughters went to Bella Piercing. From the moment we arrived, I had a bad feeling. For both business and pleasure, I've traveled and shopped all across the US, from the best stores and shops in Chicago to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. On Rodeo Drive, you walk into a store and some employees give off that, "We are so completely awesome you are lucky to be here" vibe. On Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, it's kind of expected and part of the fun. Not so much from a "wannabe" boutique on a side street in Gahanna, Ohio. The only other customer left the store so it was just us and the employees. Of course, the staff spent several minutes pretending to be too busy to come help us right away. So we sat down and let my daughter stand at the counter to wait to pick out her earrings. The piercing was completed but not before I was shocked that it was close to $200. My daughter explained that the sales person advised her to get the better, more expensive earrings because they would last longer. We were home only a couple of hours and one of the earring posts snapped. My daughter was just sitting in her bed when it happened. Of course, it was after store hours so we had to wait to go back. The next day we drove back to Gahanna and my daughter explained the situation. We were met with the most condescending, pretentious accent, telling my daughter that they had a no refund policy. I then explained that they had sold my daughter more expensive earrings than she came for because they were better and would last longer. Those "better, longer lasing" earrings broke after 2+ hours and they needed to replace it. This wasn't a return of earrings that were bought months ago. We had just bought them. After some back and forth, they reluctantly replaced them. I know that if a parent had not been there, they would have pushed my teenage daughter into spending another $150 to buy new earrings. I've been a loyal customer of Bella's Piercing since 2022. My partner and I first brought our newborn daughter here to get her ears pierced, and we were very impressed with the clean, professional, and welcoming environment. Since then, I've returned for my own piercings, including my navel and both nipples, and have recommended Bella's to friends. Recently, I discovered that my left nipple piercing was placed incorrectly. While my right side healed perfectly, the left has become uncomfortable causing soreness during normal activities like sleeping and wearing bras. Upon closer inspection, I noticed it sits too high through the middle of the nipple instead of at the base, which explains the discomfort. At the time of the piercing, a trainee was performing the work under the supervision of someone I believe was the owner or senior piercer, so this placement issue should have been caught and corrected immediately. I trusted the staff's expertise, and this oversight has created ongoing discomfort. I'm reaching out in hopes that management will contact me to discuss correcting the placement, ideally by re-piercing the left nipple at the base. I want to continue supporting and recommending Bella's, but it's important that this mistake is addressed professionally. I've had 4 piercings from them since Feb and have had to take out 3 due to them being pierced incorrectly and not healing. I've had all 3 pierced before but had let them close and never had any trouble. I went to a professional piercer who advised the nostril was pierced at the wrong angle which is why there is a bump that won't go away. My second holes on my lobes, which were still partly open, have so much scar tissue I can't get them re-done. My tragus won't heal because the angle has the back sitting so one side is digging into my tragus and the other is lifted up. I paid over $500 just to have to go and pay a professional piercer to do it all over again. read more

Bella did a wonderful job on my daughter's piercing. She was 5 and a bit nervous going in. They supported her. Encouraged her, and made her so comfortable. I've come here many times to get jewelry changed out because they have flat back earring or threadless titanium jewelry. the other day I recommended going here because my friend wanted to get her nose pierced. I ended up caving and I also got a flat cartilage piercing. The piercers were so nice and very welcoming! Our piercer was Tee and she definitely calmed our nerves with her bright and bubbly personality! I had a positive experience here! I was definitely a little concerned with going to a smaller shop, but everything turned out just fine. I was greeted almost immediately and didn't have a long wait time at all. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the shop was quite busy -- several other patrons were in at the same time as me, so clearly they are doing something right! Both the owner and my piercer, Jasmine, were very kind and welcoming. Jasmine took the time to make sure my placement was exactly where I wanted it (I wanted the angle of my new helix to line up with my old one). Everything felt sanitary and clean. I'm almost a week post piercing and no problems so far! Painful sure, but that's to be expected! I also appreciate they sell an aerosol steri-wash for your piercing ... SO much easier than trying to mix your own salt water and hold it to your piercing. read more

I have gotten my rook and nose pierced here, the rook got done in July last year and I got my nose pierced a few days ago. Lena did a great job on my nose piercing and I would recommend her, my only complaint is that prices were a bit high, but piercings are good quality. I paid $75 plus $20 for a basic stud for my nose but it looks beautiful so it's okay:) read more

I had my nostril re-pierced the end of September. I had come here a couple of years ago to have my nose pierced but I gave up on it until I retired in early September. The staff is always friendly and professional. A couple of weeks ago, I had a plastic stud disappear into my nose piercing. Jenna at Bella's was awesome. I went to Bella because I was piercing my baby's ears, she was 4 months at the time. They advertise themselves as the best piercing experience. I know they have a beautiful set up, and I can totally imagine older girls having a cute and fun piercing party and enjoying themselves. Now, for a baby, I am not sure I recommend them. I thought the person assisting me would be sweet to a baby, try to make her smile, or make it a little better for the baby. That was not the case. The girl who assisted me was professional, she was good at what she does and all, BUT she wasn't fun or bubbly for a baby, if that makes sense. read more

I went in a walk in appointment to get my second lopes done and as I was getting them done my mother noticed where the piercer marked where she was going to pierce me one was higher than the other, and my mother said something to her, and the piercer just went ahead and said "no it looks the same it's even" and so of course my mother listened to her because she's a professional and then when she pierced it and she showed it to me after she was done, I didn't even notice that it was uneven, and so then when I went home, and when I really looked at my piercings, I noticed the problem.. Bella Piercing is one of the most uneducated piercing shops I've ever been to. I'm not going to go into much detail, but they basically f'd my ear. I didn't get the "upgraded jewelry" so the gap in my regular jewelry got stuck in my piercing hole, even after I asked multiple times, "Is this going to get stuck?", And they repeatedly said "No! You should be fine!" I was indeed, not fine. (And before you assume it was my fault, it was not. I cleaned my piercing as I was supposed to, didn't sleep on it, etc.) Of course it got stuck, and I had to go back and get it removed-which was absolutely excruciating. They offered to do the same piercing on my other ear... uh no thanks! I honestly don't think I'll ever try to get another piercing again because of Bella Piercing. Only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the staff was very friendly. The girls there are very nice and make you feel very welcome- until you have a problem. read more

Was very friendly. Got a second ear piercing there a while back and I loved the way they turned out.

Scheduled for a new piercer special, any ear piercing for $20. Was called the day of the piercing and told the piercer was sick and I could still come in and pay full price for my piercing (which was $65) or schedule another time for the $20 piercing. Called back almost immediately and said I would like to schedule another time to do the $20 piercing. Had to leave a message because no one answered. No one EVER called me back. Went to Piercology and got the piercing for $30 on a walk in. Very unprofessional Bella Piercing especially for a new business that is trying to grow. read more

Price was good. Has 3 earlobe piercings done. I had my own earrings so I didn't need theirs. They used such a small tip, short stem for the piercings, it was tight on my earlobes w lots of swelling and the end kept going into my earlobe causing swelling and extreme pain daily. I fought w it and the problem and pain till I hit my 4 week mark. It was hell getting the cheap ones out since they were too tight and very nice getting the good ones in. read more

About 6 months ago I came and spent over $100 on nose rings and belly button rings. The nose rings are fine. I used a couple belly button rings for short periods of times, but they turned brown and green immediately. The last one I tried I've had in for about a month, I disinfected EVERYTHING before I wore them. The one I just took out caused my skin to have a severe reaction. All the skin around the actual piercing came off, it's all just raw skin. It became very infected so quickly, because the belly button ring I got turned green so quickly. Now I have to go to the doctor and get it treated. Whatever you do, DON'T BUY BELLY JEWELRY FROM THEM. Over priced and DANGEROUS. This has never happened to me before in the 5 years I've had it pierced. I'm gonna stick to hot topic and claire's jewelry since theirs NEVER turns brown and green within 2 weeks. Ya'll should be ashamed of yourself. read more

Unfortunately didn't have a good experience buying jewelry it was $80 for a nose ring. I had them put the nose ring in and in two weeks it came out... I told her to make sure it was tight she told me if it falls out to bend it but when it fell out I lost both pieces in the grass... so a life time warranty only works if you have said jewelry. read more

I had originally scheduled an appointment with Piercology but my appointment was a couple of weeks out and I really wanted the piercing done sooner. With Bella piercing I was able to schedule my appointment within the same week. Jazzy did my cartilage piercing. She was fast and friendly. I am very happy with the piercing. My only complaint was with the check in process. Due to covid capacity restrictions I was told to call from my car when I arrived and they would let me know if it was okay to come in. I called 4 or 5 times but no one answered the phone. Eventually I just went in and there were two employees inside so I I'm not sure why no one answered the phone. These people cannot admit their mistakes. They pierced my fiancee and it was poor positioning that led to bruising and bleeding, then decided to say that she had unique anatomy like it was her fault when she in fact does not have such a unique anatomy you can't pierce her right. I understand no refunds but when it was the piercers fault I feel we should've gotten our money back. Instead they offered to repierce with the SAME JEWELRY like she should trust them again. I went to Bella Piercing because my nose piercing had shrunken on me and felt like it had closed, because I couldn't get my nose ring in to save me! I went to Bella Piercing, and before they would charge me for another piercing, they tested it to see if it was still open.....it was!!
