Underground took me right in & fixed me up. The piercer was so kind and professional! I can't recommend them enough. So grateful I was able to have my nose fixed by them. If I had to give a rating on just tattoo artist alone I would give 1 star. I'm giving 3 for owner Zach making this situation tolerable. I won't hold an entire business responsible for 1 persons unprofessionalism. I had scheduled a tattoo with Erik and paid $40 deposit. On tattoo day he texted 2hrs before appt and canceled. I said okay and rescheduled for following week. On that day he texted 1hr before and canceled. Didn't ask to reschedule just canceled. I texted back cpl mins later and asked for deposit refunded. I was no longer going to be able to get a tattoo due to returning to work and location and size of work being done. It wouldn't have healed. I got no response at all from Erik. After several attempts to enquire about the deposit still nothing. I contacted the shop via FB messenger and Zach the owner responded. He said he had no idea this was happening, apologized and offered to tattoo me. I appreciated him responding and the offer but I was out of time. Over 24hrs later I received a rude smartass text from Erik. Stating he definitely wouldn't be tattooing me(again didnt want one now especially from no show Erik) and I could definitely come get my deposit. Very inconsiderate to fault me for him not upholding appts. Very unprofessional to blame the client who just needed deposit back due to him not being able to keep appts.. If you go there ask for Zach. He seems professional and considerate of his clients. Its unfortunate that Erik doesn't have ability to take responsibility for himself or display a work ethic. I certainly am not to blame for the disappointment of this tattoo experience I was looking forward to. Had he made any effort to respond I more than likely would not be writing a review at all. Thankfully there's many many tattoo shops out there with professionals working in them. Very unfortunate for Zach as his shop looked very nice and clean. Unfortunate and unprofessional experience overall. read more

If you ever find yourself in Heath, Ohio & are itching for a tattoo, do yourself a favor & stop here. We took a break from the festival down the road to get travel tattoos. Husband/wife team run the shop, they went out of their way for us. (Stayed open late, gave us supplies so our tattoos would heal properly on the road...) UTS artists were friendly, outgoing, engaging, excited about the tattoo ideas we had. Great, talented artists. I felt more "at home" than some of the local Seattle shops I frequent. I drove about an hour an 48 minutes to get there with no appointment(winging it, hoping for the best on a Sunday) walked in (very nice place) They got me in for my hip tattoo. Got me set up an ready! This was my first tattoo and I was really scared But he made sure I was comfortable. My tattoo was meaningful and he made it fit my wrist and made sure you could see the letters good. he said I'd done good for my first tattoo. the price was way less than I had expected it to be! And he fit me right in the same day I came in To talk. My tattoo was done in under 3 minutes and looks really good! I was nervous about pricing, pain, and anything going wring afterward but my tattoo is healthy a day later the pain wasn't as bad as I imagined and the price was really good! read more

Jamie helped me out in a big way. I got an ear piercing a year ago, which suddenly got badly infected. I couldn't take out the jewelry myself, so she did it on absolutely no notice. Great, clean shop. Honest friendly people. Always a good experience. The owner Zach is a really good guy and every time I'm in there the whole shop is always working on cool stuff.
