It's been a year and a few more piercings later and I'm happy to share that this place still rocks. I had a rook earring fall out of my ear in my sleep and panicked that it would heal up. It had been a year so I rushed my butt over there to try and save it. Dylan was great and I'm so glad we were able to recover it. He also did the other two I randomly decided to get while I was there. It was nice to have the same person consistently. Oh, and I bought two new rose gold hoops for my cartilage piercings. They were $75 a piece but after purchasing their jewelry last year and it really holding up, I was happy to pay the extra cost. Their name doesn't lie. My friend since childhood got an ear lobe piercing. The left ear was recently re-pierced but the right ear hadn't been pierced since 7 years ago. The right ear got terribly infected 5 days later. Now, I know that the fact that it hadn't been pierced in a while probably played a part, but theres definitely more. The employee at the front desk told her she didn't need to twist them, the earring was barely big enough to fit through her ear lobe, tons of paper work, pierced with a needle, and the earring was crooked. A few hours later the left ear bled. She tried to take her right earring out, but it was insanely difficult and painful. When she took it out, the ear was infected, puss filled, brownish purple colored, dry, and painful. The atmosphere was fine, and you wouldn't assume anything, but her experience was terrible. read more

Update: I got more piercings (shock). Like always, they did great! I had Nick this time and he made sure I liked the placement before piercing me and was very easy to talk to. I even got my helix redone (in the original picture with my daith, my old helix was infected and I took it out months after this review. With masks, it wasn't healing correctly). If anybody cares, this is a timeline of how long I've been coming here (and this is the ONLY place I will go) 2017 (my freshman year): I got my lobes pierced here. I don't remember who did them, but they did a great job. Mid to late 2018: I went and got my seconds on my lobes done as well as my helix by Christine Late 2019 or early 2020: got my daith done, also by Christine Early 2020: got my rook & tragus done, by Christine Today, 1/18/22: Got my thirds on my lobes done as well as repiercing my helix. read more

I went into this shop on a whim. I had hip dermals for 6 years and I decided it was time to get them out. Back when I got them I never wore any high waisted pants... but now that's all I wear & it would often irritate them! I woke up one morning and one of the tops fell out and I knew it was time. I'm writing this to help people know that hip dermals can last that long & also that the scarring hasn't been as bad as I thought! I did wait for quite some time, but they have appts! The guy who removed mine was very nice and it was only $5 to get all three removed-- super cheap and he did an awesome job. Went to get my nose re pierced. They were very quick and professional. Explained everything in detail and gave me many choices for my nose jewel. The prices are reasonable. There were a few parents with children who they had participate in their choices which i found charming. The rooms are clean and well appointed. They do every facet of piercing you need done. They gave me aftercare instructions and advised to come Back in 6-8 weeks to downsize my piercings shaft. My piercer was a female (i can't remember her name) who was great! I arrived at 8:00pm walk in and they say they are closed. 1. Why was the door still unlocked and I was able to walk in. 2. If you knew you were closed why Ask how can you help me. I told them I just wanted to buy a piece of jewelry. The guy kept saying no we are closed. I told him the hours show 9pm and someone else said I must have been looking at another location. The were rude and they knew it so I was given a $10 gift card but I don't think that I'll be using it or going back to this business. I could not be happier with my experience at Piercology today! I brought my 6-year-old with me to get her ears pierced while I had my nostril and rook done. Everyone at the desk was helpful and patient. I had my daughter's birth certificate but not a photo which they require, so the gentleman at the front desk let me email a picture ID sent from home and printed it for me which was extremely helpful. Our piercer, Kelsi, was the best! She put on my daughter's favorite music and helped her and me feel at ease. I went first and love my piercings! My daughter got her first ear done and then panicked. Kelsi was very professional and told my daughter that it was her body and her decision. She would not pierce the other ear without my daughter herself saying she wanted it. Ultimately my daughter decided not to go through with it. Kelsi was amazing and told us to come back any time to get the other ear done (later today or a year from now!). My first encounter with Piercology was via email, when Katelyn quickly and helpfully answered some questions I had. On the day I went in, delightful counter person Camille helped with paperwork and choosing jewelry. My actual piercings were done by visiting piercer Johnny Velez, who could not have been better. He was friendly, calming, and thorough, making sure the piercings lined up correctly and dealing with scar tissue from a piercing I got 30 years ago with no issues whatever. All in all, it could not have a been a smoother experience. The shop is clean, all necessary safety precautions are followed, and the mood is relaxed and supportive while remaining professional. As someone who had to drive into the city for this, I also loved that the shop had lots of parking nearby and was close to restaurants for post-piercing noms. read more

It is quite small but they hold it down when it gets crowded. Customer Service: The customer service here is most definitely on point. Fast food and banks need to take notes from the staff here on how customer service should be done. The way it is done you are in line to pay for your piercing and jewelry first, then you see a different person who will be doing the actual piercing. Ben was my piercer! Hes awesome!!! Pretty good system goin just takes up the front area when people are walking in. Quality/Quantity: The quality of this place really did have me at ease opposed to other piercing and even tattoo places I have walked into. This establishment is very clean, definitely not your basic whole in the wall place. While there is soo much aftercare, piercing prices, and different brands being thrown at you the quality of the jewelry is not cheap. THANK GOD! The quantity is waaaaaaay more than I expected... you pull a piercing, size, and style out of your butt.... they got it! Trust me! Side Notes: Recommended and not recommended for large parties. I received nipple piercings from this parlor by the piercer named Dillon, who chose the wrong jewelry size for one of my nipples, causing severe infection and irritation. I have emailed them about this and I have gotten no reply. The nipple piercing is now very delayed in healing because of the tight barbell. I do not recommend. read more

Booked 2 appointments for a helix piercing and two ear lobe piercings with Dylan. Jewelry variations are nice and high quality. I wanted a helix marquise but it was $300 so I asked Dylan if I can email the shop for me to pick inspiration jewelry i want and they said they will try to source it for me with vendors that are safe for your body. Its best they review the kind/type you want and consult what is recommended safe. Especially for the initial healing of the piercing. Kathy prepped me and dotted a few places for me to choose to pierce from. They do hand you a pamphlet so that you can remember aftercare and downsize information. Overall I definitely will come back again and enjoyed the experience. When people complain about the price of the jewelry people forget that this is high grade jewelry and your putting this onto your body and it needs to be able to last long for longtime wear. Piercology could improve on variations for at least the $30-50 price range with maybe more hoops, stud styles that are currently in trend and marquise clusters. (maybe add bigger picture closeups of the jewelry for ease of viewing or a slide of the different jewelry on their tv screens. read more

I had a nostril piercing done by Dylan after mulling over it for years, and I am so glad I finally took the leap! The staff that greet you as you walk in are all very kind and knowledgeable on aftercare, jewelry choices, etc. Everything was very clean, sanitary and I felt very safe in my decision to come here. I finally caved in and allowed my 17 year old to get his ear pierced! We made an appointment and my disappointment started when I realized that the earring was $40 per ear and $20 per piercing. I was expecting to pay $30-$40 total. So when they tried to sale me normal saline that is $2-3 at drug stores it was a hard NO. I also did not like my driver license being copied. Verify the license and sign a form that you verified ... I don't need my info available like that! SO WHEN THE TECH MARKED HIS EAR SHE ASKED IF I LIKED THE LOCATION, when I replied the move it slightly lower she said "I have been doing this for 5 years" .... WHY ASK FOR MY OPION if you are going to challenge my response? That's when I knew her elevator did not go to the top floor. She moved it twice per my request then stated "that's where it was before" ..... how petty and unprofessional! My son is timid, I AM NOT ... but I can't respond to this goofy lady like I want to because she is about to pierce my son with a needle and he would get mad at me.
