I stood next to my mom with my shopping cart as we were discussing other items I needed to purchase from another nearby store. Right before I could finish my sentence, Carina LOUDLY said, "Ma'am, we only have one line so please get behind her." I mentioned we were together and she ignored me. 2nd incident... While I was shopping, I found a toy in the clearance section that I wanted to buy for my Special Education class that would have been a GREAT non-edible reinforcer. When I told her I got it from the clearance section, but it didn't have a tag... Right away her response was, "Well another customer put it there." I responded with, "Well there were about 3 or 4 of the same toy in the clearance section. So, if it isn't clearance I don't want it." She told me she'd check. She called someone and hung up and said, "Like I said it isn't clearance and someone put it there." I let her know again, "Then I don't want it." As she finished ringing me up, I asked, "Do you have a teachers discount?". Very rudely, she said you need a teachers card. So, as I reached for my ID badge and said, "Like my ID?" She rudely said, "No, a teacher debit card." I explained to her that wasn't a thing and the majority of school district uses PO's. She completely rubbed me the wrong way from when I first got in line until I left. Tried to see if I could contact Hobby Lobby, but they only take phone calls or you can physically write a letter. Maybe you should have a survey on your receipt, so Ya'll know how your employees are treating customers. The people stocking the store were much more helpful and cheerful than she was. Maybe Carina should be pulled for a bit, if she can't show GREAT customer service.

Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The storefront looked boarded up with wood covering much of the exterior, and it was so dark inside that I honestly couldn't tell if the store was open. Once inside, my girlfriend's son politely asked the employee behind the counter how much a pack cost. The employee responded with, "I can guarantee it's more than you have in your wallet." I was shocked by how rude and dismissive that was, especially toward a kid. That's not the kind of welcome I would expect from an employee. I then told him I wanted to purchase three Prismatic Evolutions packs. He looked at me and said, with an attitude, "You know they're like $20 each, right?" I told him that was fine, but the interaction left a bad impression. What should have been a fun and memorable experience for the kids turned into an uncomfortable one because of the poor customer service. I spent $100 on 6 packs of cards and i was going to buy more cards but didn't want to give them anymore business. I won't be shopping here again and cannot recommend this store based on my experience.

im not usually one to do this. write bad reviews and all. i like to believe that people will be…read morereasonable. that they will be understanding. two odd weeks ago, i had decidedly chosen to get my rings sized. i was only wearing 1 at the time, since many were too big, or misshapen and needed fixing. i had put it off for a long time but now felt like a good time. i picked yonans bc along w the one i was wearing and the misshapen ring, both had been purchased from there, years back, by my mother. ik i was asking a lot, or rather that the amount of work that i was asking was, a lot (considering the other three rings that were being tweaked and sized). all of this is to say i had the smallest frame of reference in time to discover that the rings did not fit well when getting them returned to me. they were done so fast, i worked all week and couldn't make it myself during their business hours and had a friend pick up the order for me. like i said, the time between having them back, and two falling off, was razor thin. i had no time or rather did not possess the opportunity to return them for proper fitting--they were already gone, missing forever, within a day of having them back. i wouldn't trust these people with your jewelry; it's not in their skill set. this was mainly a basic job about sizing that they got so wrong the first time. they also refused to listen to me, lacked empathy, and wouldn't not take responsibility. i owned that ring for over 10 years and it came with me on birthdays and an international trip my passed gpa took me to, it was with me through college and graduation, through barely getting by to starting my career. i immensely loved that ring. that pretty, inexpensive, black hills gold one that my mother once bought me in 2014 for my golden birthday. rip, it meant everything to wear it.
