This place is awesome! They are super friendly with UC students! I recently got my watch batteries replaced by them. An awesome lady named Cathy greeted me and she fixed my watch. It took less than 5 minutes to service. Then she asked if I was a UC student. I affirmed her that I was and she had it serviced for free! Then had a great conversation about student life. Bottom line, its a friendly, fast, and home-like environment. I would definitely come back and recommend others to this place. So, if you are a UC Merced students, or a Mercedian, come here! You will not be disappointed. read more

I would like to get a shout out to Adam Blankenship. She is the assistant manager at Devon's jewelers. My mother had an incident where she needed her ring, cut off because her hand was so swollen and Adam was so gracious, and tried his best to be as careful as he could not to hurt my mom and treated my parents. Amazing! I will from now on buy jewelry from him when I need some and I would hope you would consider him also as he takes good care of family thank you so much Adam I can't tell you how much I appreciate how you treated my mom and dad!!!! read more

I brought my mother's watch to change the battery at this shop. I walked in and asked one of the staff. He was very helpful, kind friendly, and humorous to us. We very impressed with his service, so I asked him for permission to take a selfie and asked what his name. His name was kyle. While waiting to change the battery, I walked in the shop to look at the accessories. I was especially interested in the Disney collection. It's on sale now, and if I have a chance to buy jewelry, I will come back to this shop again. read more

I had such a wonderful encounter at DeVons Jewelers. My fiance and I were last minute shopping for an engagement ring back in December 2021. I am extremely happy we came to DeVons. We had met a wonderful staff member, Kyle during the process. He was so kind, patient, and informative with us being that this was one of our first biggest purchases. As someone who lives out-of-state, I am very pleased with the communications, and their flexibility in resizing my ring. Kyle always remembers us. I love my ring and would definitely recommend DeVons! read more

My boyfriend bought me a beautiful promise ring from DeVon's for Christmas and had taken a chance on getting the design that he did, knowing that it would need to be resized. The ring was a size 7 and my fingers are tiny so it needed to be resized to a 3 1/4. I didn't get any names but everyone was very helpful. They did everything that they could to get my ring down to the size needed. The manager gave me the option of bringing it as far down as possible and adding shank beads to get it as close to fitting as possible but it turned out that they were able to resize it without the beads. I couldn't be happier with my beautifully fit ring and the service that I received from every employee, they were all very friendly and eager to help. read more

Helpful, professional, great experience. They helped us try out a plethora of wedding bands to find 'the one.' Will absolutely be back.

If you need Jewelery and are anywhere near Merced... do yourself a favor... Go stand in front of Devons for 10 minutes while Reggie (the manager) is working. See how many people you see stop in for 3 seconds or knock on the window to say "hey"... they do it for a reason. I'd imagine a good portion of all wedding, engagement, and any other important jewelery was sold by this guy and people love him, he's a great guy. Fantastic service by the rest of the staff as well, regardless if you're looking to make a payment or get your purchases cleaned. read more

thank you James you're awesome. Thank you for going above and beyond it's sincerely appreciated.

Cathy is the Woman. My fiance purchased my engagement ring here. It is beautiful and since have made 7 other purchases here. They always clean my ring and even cleaned my mother in-laws rings when she came for the wedding. I love Cathy, she remembers us every time we come in and is so cheerful. I like that they have in store credit as well if you do not qualify for regular financing. We love them and will continue to do business with them. read more

Great Jeweler!! They take very good care of their customers. My wedding ring was sauntered wrong and not only did they fix it free of body but gave a jewelry cleaning kit for free for the unconvience. If you have issues just ask for Reggie, he's the best!! read more

I normally only rate food places, but after coming here today to remove links off of my watch, I had to make a review. The lady that works there is super nice. I was talking to her and it costs about 10 dollars to remove links off of a watch. I was like ok I'll do it. As she was doing it, we got into some good conversation about where I was from, and she found out that I was a UC Student. She then told me the service was on the house because I was a UC Student. Will definitely go back to this place for watch repairs. Also made sure that the watch fitted perfectly and made sure it did not damage my watch. read more

My husband and I get All of our jewelry at DeVons. It all started when every jewelry place my husband went to treated him like a dollar sign. Not a man trying to find the perfect engagement ring. UnTil he came to DeVons. The manager even went out of their way to go pick up the ring from Stockton because someone had purchased the one my husband was looking at in the Merced location. Since then we've gotten necklaces, chains, rings, earrings, etc. Mike always remember us when we go there and it makes us feel like a person. And not just a way to make a sale. I would recommend them to anyone who asked :) read more

Kathy was great. She was very informative and helped me pick the right engagement ring very professionally.

Adam was helpful. I brought in my daughter's ring with the missing tiny diamond, and Adam explained that the tine was completely broken off. He gave me a rough estimate of both the cost to fix and return time. He was right on both counts. The ring is fixed, and I am sending all of our broken bits of jewelry to DeVons. read more

I'm horrified when I give my ring for them to clean but when I came back to pick it up my ring , the stone was detach from the ring. I ask the sales lady she says it just fall off by itself. I never have my ring falls off by itself for ten years. And she says the ring is dirty and she did not apologize at all. I feel violated and crying when I get to the car. I will never go back there anymore. read more

Mike is awesome to deal with. He goes above and beyond for us. But even when he isn't there, everyone is always really nice. I take my ring to get cleaned there every time I'm in the area as well and it always looks brand new. Never any pressure to buy something either. read more

I absolutely love this place! My engagement ring was purchased here, and this is also where my wedding band and husbands ring was purchased as well. The financing is great! I financed my husbands ring to get my credit boosted up. After 1 payment the allowed me to finance my wedding band. Each time I go in, everyone is so friendly and so helpful. I actually just made a payment over the phone, which is awesome! I was not able to physically walk in the store today and having this over the phone option really helped me :) Keep up the amazing work Devon's staff! I will continue to do business and cannot wait to order another band to make my ring look even more amazing! read more
