    Our experience at Thompsons GMC was absolutely stellar, Garrett was our sales guy and Aaron ran the financing and it was just so comfortable and inviting to be there. Garrett was a Rockstar as he went above and beyond not only to make sure we were comfortable at all times but his efforts into finding us what we wanted was the the best you can get and Aaron was so personable and streamlined with his execution of the final signing it was like he had been doing it for 30 years. I just love it when I get to meet great people its like you become part of a family and I'm all about that. We recently purchased a vehicle from another dealership 2 weeks prior and it was nothing like the experience and welcome we received at Thompsons GMC They made lifetime customers out of us and i would suggest to anyone looking to get a new or used vehicle and want to leave with a smile on there face and that overwhelming feeling of complete satisfaction about there purchase to get out there and get you some of that amazing family friendly service you wont regret it no matter how far you have to drive.

    First off I would like to say that are buying experience at Thompson's GMC was like nothing My Bride and I had ever experienced! Furthermore, staff was excellent (Aaron, Kris and Garrett) They had a lot's of stock, however we were looking for something more specific ( blacked out, white in color, Arcadia/Elevation) and they were able to track that down for us, it happened extremely quick! I'll be looking for a pick up next year and Thompson's will be the place that I go to! Thanks again, Aaron, Kris and Garrett for your professionalism, y'all have a customer for life here!     From the moment I clicked send on my inquiry for a vehicle in inventory, to the moment we drove it off the lot, it could not have been a better experience. I don't often buy new cars and wow has the process has changed (for the better) in the last 10 years. I was elated that when needing to unexpectedly buy a new vehicle, everyone at Thompson was there to help. No stress. No strain. No pressure. Kindness, empathy and understanding was all I ever felt. The paperwork was done effectively ahead of time with stellar communication via text and email. That meant that I was in and out of the dealership in no time. I will be back when I need my next new vehicle. Without hesitation, Thompson GMC has my business for life!

    Not a great experience at Thompsons. On 11/16, I was coming from 90 minutes away. I told Chris I would be there between 1 and 2 p.m., and he said they had everything they needed from me. Arriving at 1:30, Chris seemed confused and surprised and then went on to say how they were short-handed. Cut to 3 hours later, they are finally ready to sign the paperwork--typical finance guy hard sales pitch about upselling warranties. Noting multiple scratches in the hood and tail lights before leaving, they say they will call to address them. 11/18 After a runaround, they say they will order the lights and call back to schedule picking up my truck. 12/5 I have to call back. The parts department tells me that they have it, but the service department has amnesia. 12/16 I call again because I am getting emails for my service appointment. Once again, the service department has zero clue what my request is or whether any parts have been ordered. They have all been trained to say they will look into it and then do nothing and hope you go away. BY FAR THE BIGGEST JOKE OF A DEALERSHIP.

    Could not be happier! I took my time shopping and met with Jonny Carr several weeks ago. No pressure, walked me thru the options, and gave me all the info I needed. A few weeks later I decided upon a car and the rest of the process was a breeze! Between Jonny in sales, and Aaron Freeman the finance guy this was an easy deal, a fair price, on a great vehicle. Instead of a simple response, I was met with a dismissive grunt and an attitude that made it clear I wasn't welcome. Trying to move past it, I asked about a part I needed and some additional supplies. The clerk didn't respond--just stared at me until the phone rang, at which point he turned his back and took the call without a word. It was clear I wasn't going to get any help from him. Thankfully, a female manager stepped in and assisted me with my purchase. While I appreciated her help, the overall experience left a bad impression. I've been a loyal customer for years, but after this visit, I won't be returning to the Placerville location.

    Bought snow chains as a precaution going to Lake Tahoe. Initially they were a great help, finding…read morethe correct size. End up not needing them, so on the way back to return the unused chains, was rudely told, are you not aware of all sales final on snow chains. They had 1 printed sign on the opposite counter than we were at at the time. I told them we were never told. Then told us tough luck. According to California Civil code 1723 "by not clearly displaying their limited or no return policy, you can return the purchased item with proof of purchase for a full refund within 30 days." "they must conspicuously display that policy in the store and/or on their website. Examples of Conspicuous Display: This can include signs at each register and sales counter, at the public entrance, on tags for goods the policy applies to, or on order forms." I have attempted to return at other NAP, but was told they cannot because they don't carry the item in their store. (Bay area store) I've contacted NAP CS to notify of the poorly handling of their so called" policy "

    I usually get excellent service at AutoZone, not today, not at the Placerville store…read more I walk in, and there was one employee in the store. He was helping another person. I didn't get a "hi", an " I'll be right with you, " absolutely, no acknowledgment that I was even standing there. After a couple of minutes, I politely cleared my throat, still, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Another employee who seemed to be helping another person out in the parking lot, walked into the store, and as he walked past me, I politely said,"excuse me". I was going to simply ask if he was almost done. Again, no eye contact, no acknowledgment whatsoever. He just kept walking. After waiting for five minutes or so, I just walked out. It's amazing how far a simple "hi, I'll be right with you" , can go. I was heading "down the hill" anyway, so I stopped into the Rancho Cordova store. The gentleman who helped me was beyond friendly and helpful. I explained to him what happened to me in the Placerville store, and his exact words were, "that's unacceptable." He said that when a customer comes into AutoZone, they are supposed to be greeted within 30 seconds of walking into the store. Guess what? It didn't happen in the Placerville store. Consider the Placerville AutoZone off my list.
