Went out on a Friday recently and it was PACKED. I just wanted to say that Megan killed it, she handled the crowd and was quick with the drinks! read more

Had the absolute pleasure of being brought here after an epic hunt in the area. Bartender very attentive to our needs. Friendly people, great ambiance. Will definitely refer to my friends on a must go see experience. Even Security at door was epic! Sincerely Matt Jaeger read more

Thompson's Corner Saloon - My son's first wild pig - Dive Bars Near Me - Suisun City, California

Stopped by the saloon while I was in town. It has funny aesthetics on the wall. They made me a good drink. They were nice and serviceable. Kinda wish they had food, but all in all it was fine. read more

Me and my friend were there around 11:45-11:50pm ordered one drink each and The woman bartender last night overcharged me and my friends cards ..my friend only ordered twisted tea and I only order a Stella Artois my friends drink was only $6 and her card was charged $20 and my drink was only about $6-7 and my card was charged $14 and we didn't realize until we left and checked our accounts ...we closed our tabs after those single drinks ..that's foul of the bartender to do and I don't know her name but she has an accent and she is white with dark hair ..we always tip as well which is crazy as hell smh I guess she's been getting away with it read more

One of my favorite drop-in spots! I've been coming here on and off since 2008 and I love local unique dive bar places with character and locals where you can just sit and enjoy yourself and have a great time. Right now, my favorite bartender is Christian. He has a funny sense of humor and excellent service. During the evening, the atmosphere here goes on well. Especially when it gets busy. I hope this place stays around for a long time. I refer my out of town friends here whenever they come and ask for a new place to go to. I tell them "Thomson's Corner" is something you gotta see..... it's history. read more

This place is great and they have pool tables in the atmosphere is very laid-back and definitely would recommend read more

See all

This place is great. The bartenders are usually super cool. There's one guy, anyone who been here knows who I'm talking about, who's always in just an OK mood and just there to work. But it's a spot you shouldn't sleep on, 2 great pool tables, no draft beer but full bar and huge fridge of random drinks. We always get twisted tea. No food. We recommend ! read more

A must go to if you are in the area. The original dive bar. So glad that they survived COVID. Great spot, friendly bartenders and lots of fun. read more

i usually avoided this place in my younger years because I did hear it was racist BUT I been coming here way more often, Chris is the greatest bartender ever, the people are nice and a vibe. read more

Great vibe and spirits to please years of good times ! I went as a experienced customer and had a excellent experience

A historic roadhouse by the railroad tracks in Cordelia. ECV plaque. Biker friendly. Pool table. No beer on tap, but a good variety of cans and bottles. read more

This is a fun place to stop if you're in the area and looking to grab a drink. I've been here several times and always had great service from the bartenders and we've found ourselves in conversation with other patrons each time as well. The regulars will often make room for you to pull up a seat next to them and say hi. Lots of parking outside. It's definitely a smaller place which contributes to its intimate and welcoming feel, rather than giving an exclusive air as sometimes is the case at similarly sized places. I hate when I'm too busy to stop in if I'm driving by; I feel like it's a missed opportunity to make new friends. No kitchen, but they do have snacks available for sale. read more

Was looking for a cool dive bar This place is Not! Rude bartender kept ignoring people waiting to order at the bar. Definitely lost customers. read more

Put music on the jukebox and the bartender decided HE didn't like not. So he shut it off. It played for 30 seconds. Not long enough to hear it. I WASTED MONEY HERE. Fuck this place. I'll never come back honestly. It's so cliquey and not very inviting. read more

I love the scenery and the location. Bartender last night was horrible . He would ignore me standing in front of him ; taking others before me . Asked for quarters he said use AtM machine like what ? How can I play pool then ? Man i fire this guy if I was management read more

I have been there a few times. It is a good place to hang out with friends. But the bartender is RUDE. He serves customers in the order he wants. And he ignores "New" customers for "Regulars". Also, if you ask questions he is impatient & even more rude. read more

Talk about a diveyyy dive bar right in the heart of little Cordelia! I used to frequent this place a lot before after work with co workers and friends... and recently I've just been dropping in every so often. I really like this spot since it's so close to home. You can just chill there and have a drink if you're just needing a quick cap after a long day (and no one bothers you), you can also go there still by yourself and just end up talking it up with the bartenders or locals, or go there with a couple of friends and still have a good time! From the building, to the decorations, and to the people... Thompson's definitely has some character which I love. I do like that they have TouchTunes so you can hop in on the rotation of music conveniently from your phone. I suck realllllyyyy bad at pool but i do like that they have a back room with pool tables.... gives ya somethin more to do! I'd say their prices for the drinks aren't too bad... and I'm all about support local businesses. Id day this is definitely a spot passer by's and locals who have never been should drop by at when driving through 680 or needing a quick drink. read more

Well for one it is a white America bar racist at that there is absolutely no spanish music on the Jukebox the crowd is 99% white I came by a few times after work to have a beer I sat by myself I don't bother anybody and their energy and their Looks say get the fuck out of here they definitely know how to make you feel uncomfortable if they don't want you there... Definitely not a place for me And not having any Mexican music was the least of everything... definitely a gavacho bar "This is for la raza " read more

Cool bar. Solid prices. Good bartenders. Pool tables and cues are taken care of. Happy it re opened

Christian is a great bartender!!!!! He makes all his drinks with so much fun and he truly cares about each person who comes in, I'd highly recommend him!!' And if anything he deserves a huge big raise, he deserves everything!, great guy!!! :) read more

Nice dive bar. Christina was very friendly and attentive. Moderate prices. Chill atmosphere. Felt a little out of place, but as the night went on the place filled up and Christina was very welcoming. read more

Then I was here the bartender didn't greet me nor did he serve me after my friends instead he asked the guy who walked in behind us 2 mins after we walked in if he wanted anything I was standing at the bar with my card in my hand ready to open a tab. Assuming Bc I am not one of his bro or the way I come off (gay) if you are looking for a good bar with a bartender that isn't just ganna serve his friends then don't go here. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is NOT a lgbtq or racial freindly bar. read more

It's a locals joint. It's a cool bar but the clientele isn't worth the drive out there...

Local hang out place. Great priced drinks. I think a beer in a bottle was like $2.00 Beware of all the locals here, everyone knows everyone. This is the hangout Spot for fellow cordelians. Relatively safe place to hang out. There are shared restrooms here. They have a few pool tables in the back as well. If you're looking for a drink on a Friday night with some friends this is an inviting chill place. (beware and be prepared to see lots of women's bra's all over the place) read more

I met a friend here and spent at least 20 minutes staring at everything on the walls and ceiling at the main bar while drinking a stiff whiskey and coke. Lots of : 1: Grimy bras hanging from the ceiling. I guess women wouldn't be inclined to wear their nice bras if they were just going to pull them off at a bar at the end of the night. 2: Sexy nude paintings of women and also a photo of a nude patron splayed on a motorcycle inside the bar. Look for it at the short corner of the bar near the entrance to the room with the pool tables. 3: Nasty comments and proclamations of love written on the walls. 4: A few things preserved in a jar that look like male anatomy near the tv. This is the museum of dive bars. read more

I love shit hole bars. So naturally I would like this place. Why Ihad an awful 2 experiences, apparently you have to be a regular to get a drink. We had to basically beg the bartender for a drink. He clearly wanted us to leave. Boo on this bar. I guess I'm not good enough. Never again. read more

I love a good dive bar, but I don't like a dive bar that reeks like a port-a-potty. It's got dusty bras and junk all over the walls. Ample bar top space and a few pool tables. I think the smell, dusty decor and creepy mostly male clientel keeps me from embracing this dive bar. read more

Great place to chill with friends and enjoy a drink! I come here with friends from time to time.
