The service was amazing, I virtually had no waiting time during the entire process, setting the appointment, dropping off the car and picking it up was seamless. I was extremely impressed with the entire process and I can't say I wasn't a bit nervous with some of the negative reviews. I would recommend this collision center to anyone that needs auto body repair . They did a perfect repair, like it never happened! Unfortunately I was rear ended so I am uncertain of the cost but they did keep me updated that they found more extensive damage that was not visible. I had a very good experience with Thompson Collision. I had an outside mirror and door window replaced on an Audi A6. The mirror was highly complicated with sensors and camera lens that had to be calibrated. The paint on the mirror was flawless and everything worked properly. 7 day repair turns into 10 then ends up at 13 days because they dropped the ball by not ordering a couple parts they needs at time of estimate, and starting the job. Nothing hidden! This was a simple, stright forward repair to repair dents on my roof from a tree branch hiting the vehicle. read more

If you like being lied to about when your vehicle will be done and then buttered over by the sales manager about how 'everything is coming together nicely' then this is your place. My vehicle which I just proudly paid off has been gone for 2 months now first it was "we're moving right along waiting on more parts" then the next week it was "we ordered the wrong parts" long story short it's not the insurance company running you for one hrs this place absolutely ridiculous. Had a door ding that took the paint off. Dropped it off at Thompson Wednesday night and picked it Thursday night. Unbelievable job, I could not even find the dent and where they touched up the paint was impossible to find. I don't know how they did all that for less than $200.00. Highly recommend read more

Excellent experience. From start to finish excellent communication. My car was sideswiped by a distracted driver in early November. It was taken to Thompson as recommended by Lexus roadside assistance as this is a Certified Lexus repair facility. There was a little bit of a delay due to getting a door shell ordered but that was really out of their control. I was briefed frequently by Will, who was excellent by the way. Our new BMW was hit by someone who ran a stop sign. Jim and Thompson Collision did an awesome job of returning the car to its original state. Jim was very helpful. We had to wait a while to get an appointment and it was definitely worth the wait. Very thorough and knowledgeable. This place has got to be the worst experience I have ever taken my vehicle to for repairs. The estimator had not clue 1 about the type of vehicle I had. I sought out this body shop as a Lexus-authorized location, and one of very few such locations, which means that I drove an hour out of my way to use them. Work that should have taken 1-2 weeks took 3 weeks and the gentleman to whom I spoke on the phone refused to give time estimates which he justified with not wanting to make false promises. What's worse, when I picked the car up, there was one glaring omission from their work (a damaged seal / gasket around the sun roof - the very center of the damage they were to repair, was never replaced) and they said, "Oops." When I insisted that they fix it, they agreed that I could bring it back - but there were over an hour from where I live and had already had the car for 3 weeks! I insisted that THEY pick up and return my car to do the work, for which I had to fight and escalate to the manager (who explained this all with "mistakes happen"), but they finally agreed. The kicker?! After driving my car to their shop and back to make the repair right, they returned it with an empty tank of gas! Find another body shop that does not see itself as holier than thou! read more
