We've had excellent service from the Collegeville location several times in the past, but Steve,…read morethe manager, just permanently lost our business. We had an appointment for repair work on Jan 12, but when I called to confirm that on the 7th, I was told they did not have the parts yet and it would take 2 weeks to get them. So we rescheduled for drop off on Jan 23, with work beginning on Jan 26. I confirmed the second appointment with Zack on the phone 2 days beforehand. When I arrived at the shop this morning, Steve said they didn't have the parts and didn't understand why I was there. He complained about the State Farm estimate calling for after market parts and not paying for new parts. He has had the insurance estimate for 2 months, and this was a known issue. No one ever called me for a discussion of what I was willing to pay for out of pocket or whether new vs used parts were a deal breaker for me. Classic Coachworks just let the problem fester and then Steve had a temper tantrum when I showed up for a scheduled and confirmed appointment. I warned him that he was about to lose a customer of many, many years, and he sent me away. A little bit of communication goes a long way, and this is a lesson that Steve desperately needs!

Arson immediately test drove my car and gave me an straight and honest diagnosis of the problem. I needed a front bearing replacement. I asked him for his opinion on any noise in the other front wheel and his honesty and reliable advice convinced me to let him keep the car grid another day and replace the second wheel bearing. I don't trust anybody, but Arson has proven himself again and again to be skilled and hunt for parts--regardless of rarity--at junkyards across the US. The dude has performed miracles for me and my beloved but problem plagued Mercedes. My car once spent 3 weeks in his lot as he searched for a hard to find part. But he eventually found it, fixed my damn German car, and charged me a more than fair price! Regardless of the time it took to locate the part, Arson went out of his way to find it. The wait was well worth it. Plus, all the guys there are kind. I've spent thousands at his shop, but it wasn't his fault, just shit German engineering design. Just check out their myriad recalls. You really can trust both his work and price. The guy is incapable of lying. After viewing the reviews and meeting the owner. I decided to give them a try. The service on my mother's car was reasonable. Unlike the BMW dealership that looks for additional things regardless when she brings it. The inspection and emissions was quick and painless, as it should be for a car with only 5k miles! During this time, I hit a curb and tore the sidewall on my wife's tire. So I decided to obtain a quote. To my surprise, they were close to the quote I received from my wholesale club. So I gave them the work. When I went to pay, my bill was actually $50 lower than the original quote and cheaper than BJs! Not only that, they gave me a ruboff for the lottery as a thank you for servicing our truck there! I like working with a local service center that I can trust. I like dealing directly with the owner if I have an issue! I like knowing the name of my mechanic. Try that at your local, overpriced dealership!

A typical call between Rick and I goes something like "Blah blah blah car stuff and information I should probably know about" and I say, "okay whatever is best!". That is the type of interaction where I could get scammed to an insane extent but Rick always has my back. I've dropped by car off many times when there was an engine light on or I just did not feel comfortable driving it, and it is typically repaired within the same day (and if not, within 2 days MAX). My boyfriend who worked as a mechanic eventually ran the numbers and said that Rick does really good work and is very honest and prices it reasonably. Through out the years, I've gotten the starter replaced, frequent oil changes, and my inspection. There has NEVER been an issue with Rick or his work.  As someone who could really only tell the difference between an SUV and sedan and poured coolant in my power steering the one time I tried to work on my own car (which shows how inexperienced I am and trust me, I've tried learning.
