My family and I feel very grateful to have Dr. Chiang as my OB-GYN. When I was in the hospital, he came to check on me almost every day. He has a lot of experience, very strict but also very friendly, and if you follow his instructions carefully, you'll be fine. I also had a little trouble during my pregnancy and had to call his hotline at 5 a.m. Both times, the doctor answered quickly and gave advice right away. The staff are nice too. They do their jobs well and were very patient when working with our private health insurance. I am generally very shy and get nervous easily in many situations, but I had a great experience with the doctor and his staff. Being pregnant is not easy, but they made it better. Every person has a different experience, and pregnancy can be emotional, but I truly feel that Dr. Chiang and his staff care about patient health.

Very bad experience with this doctor!…read more Dr. Chiang is judgmental, rude and impatient. He doesn't listen at all and is very rude and judgmental. I don't think he cares about the feeling of the patients. I asked if I can have c section for some reason, he didn't look at my file and shouted in the office saying I am the one who can decide, not you! He didn't show out his rudeness until it is too late for us to change the doctor! Don't go to him, he is going to ruin your pregnancy and delivery. He was very emotional and can't control his own emotion at all. I am not sure if he had bad experience with some other patients before, but this could not be the reason for him to be rude! He lost temper easily and yelled at the patient for no reason. He is also seeing too many patients at the same time, each time is in a rush, you don't feel that you were cared at all! Very bad experience with him! I regret having him as my ob, it has brought a lot of trouble and painful memories to me.

She talked through every one of my concerns and ultimately helped me achieve the exact birth plan I had hoped for. I believe I healed very quickly because of some of her decisions. Her office, though, is very, very challenging to work with. That said (and maybe sadly), it started getting a little easier to work with them once the $300 office fee started getting charged and patients started leaving. Still, they were very challenging and often lacked compassion for other women I saw who were struggling with very serious issues. But in any event, almost all OB back offices suck, so you might as well go with Dr. Barnes. She is the absolute best.

She was so condescending and before even examining me told me…read morethat it would not possible for me to have PCOS and questioned where I'd gotten that diagnosis (every OBGYN I have ever seen has unanimously drawn that conclusion). She then proceeded to tell me I didn't understand the female reproductive system and told me I needed to be on oral birth control. She ignored me when I explained why for my mental health that was no longer an option for me. This was all very disappointing coming from a young woman.. if this were someone of a previous generation or a man it would have still be upsetting, but more expected. I have never left a review of any business before..but I don't want another woman going to her and having a similar experience, especially given the vulnerable nature of her specialty.

My recovery after both surgeries was smooth, and the incision scars are minimal. She also has excellent bedside manner and is very attentive to details, which made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the process. Her team at the office is also wonderful. Communication is clear, appointments run smoothly, and the staff is always helpful. The office may not be fancy or full of extra services, but they truly make you feel cared for and listened to. I really appreciate the level of attention and professionalism from Dr. Chou and her entire team. Highly recommended.

Whatever you do, stay away from this doctor…read more I saw her to ask about getting an IUD, and she literally said to me, "Why can't men just wear condoms?" I was in shock. She then proceeded to try to talk me out of getting an IUD, saying that because I've never had children, I don't know what pain is. She was incredibly insensitive, and I couldn't believe I was talking to a medical professional. Additionally, she didn't offer or recommend any other birth control options. Instead, she was incredibly rude throughout the appointment.

I then had to pay for an HSG and a hysteroscopy to assess the damage. I am indeed missing my right fallopian tube. I was told they'd reimburse me for those, but I'd have to submit it through insurance. I can't bring myself to go through this process. So I'm posting my experience as a warning to other women. This botched procedure was performed on NYE of 2024, and I still have pain. I still feel intense anger when I think about how the doctor chuckled that I'd still be able to get pregnant through IVF when I was crying that I was worried I'd never be able to get pregnant again.

Getting a hold of someone whenever I have questions have never been easier. Not only do they pickup the phone call in a timely manner, but I was never in a longer hold. A few instances happened when they were busy, but that's understandable. I am always able to message them through my portal. Anything urgent, they are on top of it. Luckily I only had 2 events when this happened. From getting my labs to any test I needed, this clinic had been a breeze! I've called several other clinics before finding out about FOWH and the rest either never pickup or they're so disorganized and unhelpful during a phone consult. The sonographers that we've had were always kind, timely and helpful. We have had some questions and they're so wonderful in addressing them. Biggest shoutout to our Dr. Mitri. He is empathetic, highly knowledgeable and is just a good human being. He pays attention to every detail, he doesn't miss any question we have and he's very good at responding to our out-of-office messages/questions. His bedside manners are exceptional. He is respectful, has a good sense of humor and does his job really well. We're so happy to be a patient at FOWH and we appreciate the staff for being great! We look forward to every visit we have.

He…read moreperformed an extraperitoneal C-section, and I was especially impressed with his surgical skills. During my hospital stay, he came by several times to check on my recovery, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Foong also performed my newborn son's circumcision using the Mogen clamp technique, a method rooted in traditional Jewish circumcision that is known for being quick and requires considerable skill and experience. Dr. Foong learned this technique in Beverly Hills and brought that expertise from the Westside to the San Gabriel Valley. My baby cried very loudly during the procedure--I could hear him from outside the room--but the procedure itself was very quick. Once home, he was comfortable and only fussed a little during diaper changes when the area was touched. His recovery was much easier than I expected. One thing to know: Dr. Foong is extremely busy. The wait can be long, while appointments themselves are often quite quick and may feel rushed. He is very straightforward, doesn't spend much time on small talk, and tells you exactly what he thinks and gets straight to the point. This style may not be for everyone, but I came to appreciate it. For me, his surgical skill and experience mattered most. I would highly recommend Dr. Foong, especially to patients who value an experienced, skilled, and straightforward OB-GYN.

I was in the very early stage of pregnancy when I first went to see him. Since I did not know my…read morecycle well, he told me I seemed to be about 2 to 3 weeks pregnant. From what I understood, at that stage it is usually too early to see anything through an abdominal ultrasound, and a cervical ultrasound would normally be needed. However, he examined me through my stomach and even said he could see a tiny dot that was supposed to be the gestational sac. I felt suspicious, but because he was the doctor and it was my first pregnancy, I let it go. I had a short flight planned for a vacation, so I specifically asked him whether it was safe for me to travel, and he said it was fine. During the trip, I started having severe bleeding. I was in another state, panicking, and could not just walk into his office. I called him and the nurse, since they had my chart and should have known my situation and how far along I was. I even checked the office hours before calling to make sure they were still open. The only answer I got was, "The office is closed. Call back on Monday." It was Saturday, and according to their posted hours, the office was supposed to still be open. I was not expecting anyone to magically stop the bleeding over the phone. I simply wanted basic guidance about whether this was an emergency and what I should do next. I was terrified and almost fainted from panic. Eventually, I went to a nearby urgent care, where I found out it was a chemical pregnancy and that I had miscarried. I was furious at how both the doctor and the nurses handled everything. I still cannot understand how a doctor could respond to a desperate patient like that. What made it even worse was what happened afterward. When I called later to cancel my next appointment because of the miscarriage, I was hoping for at least a little compassion, maybe something like, "I'm sorry to hear that. Please take care." Instead, the nurse simply said, "You want to cancel? Okay, bye." Please do not go here. This place is the worst. I still do not understand how he has such high reviews. My experience was horrible.

On the first day I was in hospital for scheduled induction, she had 24-hour duty, went home to sleep and didnt return till i was into 37 hours on Pitocin. She scolded me not to cry before entering the operation room, not worthy of crying?! while my life and my baby's life were in her hands. Only for a couple hundred dollars more, she wants a surgery instead of natural birth. For an insurance covered procedure, she lied to me its cosmetic, I paid her cash and extra. She listens to your concerns, is extremely knowledgeable and has amazing bedside manner. Let's face it, no one jumps for joy over the idea of getting a pap - and some of us have had downright traumatic experiences in the past - but with Dr. Chang you can rest assured that it will be a breeze! It was over before I even knew it and it didn't even feel the least bit uncomfortable. She will also perform an ultrasound to ensure that your ovaries and uterus are structurally sound and there's no underlying issues which is a nice touch, especially since you don't need to schedule another visit solely for this as it's done in office by Dr.Chang herself! I'm so glad to have found her - a good OBGYN that makes you feel safe and comfortable is so hard to find these days but Dr. Chang is proof that they still exist!
