Dr. Yeh made me feel very comfortable and was efficient, but took the time to answer all my questions thoughtfully (not many MDs are as patient). He's very knowledgeable and practices good medicine, which makes me feel like I'm in good hands. I also appreciate how he emphasizes what's important for my health and shows genuine concern, but does it in a way that doesn't cause unnecessary worry. The front office staff can come off a little unfriendly at times, but I honestly don't pay much attention to that. It's not okay for them to act that way, but I also understand they're busy and constantly answering phone calls, so I try to give them grace. This medical office has by far the most unprofessional staff I've ever encountered. Situation: When completing their new patient form and inputting your address, there's a box you could check to allow them to use the address on your driver's license. I selected this option and checked the box. When the nurse (she refused to give me her name) came into the room looking visibly mad about something. When she saw that I didn't fill out the address part, she went OFF on me. Saying things like "I hate you" and threating me with "do you want to see the doctor or not?!" The doctor walked by and heard/saw everything but just stared at me when I asked him if this is how he has his staff treat his patients. I asked for the nurse's name and that I'm going to make a complaint and her response was to mock me and saying "I'm so scared." Dr. Yeh, however, is incredibly condescending and is absurdly egotistical. He has his interns shadowing him as if he's some God, and you can tell the entire staff seems like they're walking on eggshells. The wait time is terrible and the bedside manner is nonexistent. I am going to give a 1 star rating. My appt was at 4:00 pm on a Thursday and I didn't see the doctor till nearly 6:00 PM Secondly, the front desk lady is asking me what my copay is because she can't get a hold of my insurance. Magically I call the number on the back and they specified that I do not need to pay for my yearly check up. (My current gynecologist has gone hiatus so I decided to try Andrew Yeh). Dr Yeh is very busy, and for good reason! He is very knowledgeable and experienced and efficient with his work. The amount of loyal patients going to him should be proof of the amazing work he does. He is so intricate and detailed with his surgeries and puts a lot of care into his work. You can tell from the incisions that it will heal very smoothly. Another bonus is that he speaks fluently 4 languages and he's always learning more (I think he speaks mandarin Spanish Japanese and maybe another language). I even saw him speaking Arabic to another patient during a visit and the girl looked so thankful! He's always been respectful to me and whenever you have questions he'll answer them in a way that is easy to understand. The front desk has been pretty helpful too and helped me figure out confusing insurance stuff! I've been to many different doctor offices, and there is always a wait everywhere. This place was very disappointing. I never got to meet the doctor, his staff were so rude and unprofessional. My wife and I arrived at his office to have a consultation to have an IUD removed, a Pap smear, and pregnancy health consult. From my first appointment to my post op appointment, I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Yeh and his staff during my pregnancy. Appointments were quick and concise, and I love that I got to see baby at every check up because he did a scan every time. He insisted I speak to the doctor on the phone. But then slipped in at the end that I have to pay a copay to talk to the doctor just to answer the question of "what services they provide." When I told him I would not pay the copay just to ask the question, he got aggravated and hung up on me. I told my main doctor group this and they will no longer refer Dr Andrew Yeh's offices to anyone who needs a referral. I'd understand if the employee is new and didn't know all the services provided by his office yet - but he didn't say that. He kept repeating I must speak to the doctor and I must pay my copay first. I was referral to Dr. Yeh by family doctor for my 4th baby one years ago . The reason was I want to find one who was close to my home for convenience. For honest , Dr. Yeh was professional and high skills. However , his attitude and patience was not as well as my previous OB. Every time I visited I had to wait about 1 hours after the appointment time to go inside examination room, then wait for another half of hour to be able to see him, but only about 2 minutes for examination and without left time for me to ask questions, then he left the room with his internship students quickly. I felt I was not a live person, I was just part of procedure in their office. In additionally, the front receptionist and the nurse (old lady ) were rude and impatient when I have important questions that I had to ask them by phones , and they always said you didn't know how busy they were, then hung up. They were the worst health provider I had ever met. On 5/12/23 (Friday) afternoon, I called Dr. Yeh, Andrew OBG office to reschedule my appointment. The front desk receptionist (who claimed to be the office manager) was very rude and had no patience while speaking to me. At first, I told her I need to reschedule my appointment and asked if there were any availability in the middle of July. She said the doctor is not available. Then I asked for availabilities at the end of July, to which she stated that the doctor is on vacation. When I asked for availabilities beginning of August or maybe middle of June, she responded that the doctor is on vacation from June as well. She immediately hung up on me when I asked her if the doctor is on vacation from middle of June until end of July and when he actually has time for an appointment. After few minutes, I called again from the same phone I used in the previous call and there was no answer, then I called the office with my cell phone and the same woman picked it up my call. I asked her why did she hang up on me and her response was that she was busy and immediately hung up on me for a second time without any other explanation. She was incredibly rude and unhelpful and I still have not been able to make any appointments.
