We notified the office about the incident and there was nothing they could really do but advised us to buy again on whatever leftover yearbooks that they had which were only 10 copies. My child properly lined up to buy a copy when a group of 8th graders came and cut off all the students who waited patiently. One girl even ended up buying 5. They should've limit 1 copy per student. And whoever teacher was in charge at that yearbook sale should've kept an eye on the line. Such a disorganization and disappointment! Also, this school have kids bullying and intimidating other kids. Parents please choose caution when picking this school for your child/children. I almost wanted to believe that the students of this school improved till this incident happened to us.

It feels weird to rate a school via Yelp lol. For educational purposes, please check other resources I have had young relatives attend this school with good teachers/ experiences Once I came about 10 minutes late to pick up my niece (miscommunication between 220pm versus 230pm ). They call the mom and me ; they had my niece wait by the office with staff and I had to sign in my info in order to take her home. It does show that they care a lot of their students safety. There's multiple playgrounds here for various ages, including the toddlers. My nieces love to play there and it's decently well kept (newer swings, no trash). Also has Large grassy areas too. I walk my dog here on leash so she can run around and play for a bit There's also a back area where there are tables and grill stations to host a picnic by the playgrounds on weekends. Basketball courts used to be open but I think they now close the gates (for safety? To protect the equipment?). Website https://brooktree.berryessa.k12.ca.us/

This school is an automatic chill place when there is no lunch, dinner, or anything else involved - just good conversations. This is a very safe neighborhood. Good school district. I know it's to fight against gangs or whatever but like, it is an elementary school???? No one is gangbanging at 3rd grade. Second, the school lunches sucked, like really sucked, they all tasted bad except for the pizza. Everything but 2 lunches taste bad in my new school, and i can just get a second option. Third, the teachers, only a few were ok, the rest were not, but one specific P.E coach threatened to break my finger. Im no Saul Goodman but i think its a crime to threaten a minor. when i was like in 3rd-4th grade. same coach also did not appreciate how i did cursive, a useless skill. WHEN I WAS IN LEARNING LAB! SHE DOESNT EVEN TEACH THERE! MIND YOUR DAMN BUSINESS LADY! While on the topic of the learning lab, all of those teachers sucked. Don't even need to elaborate. Field trips next, these were one of the only good parts about the school. Science camp in Livermore was cool and so was the one in Saratoga i think. Great america was also cool.

Everyone, the principle, teachers, staff, students, fellow parents, all are so caring and making every member of the school feel so special and loved. Children need love! I feel so good dropping Jake's off each day at school and he loves going to school so much! Alexander keeps saying how come Jake's school is so cool and all Jake's teachers love him so much!! They also organize a lot of cool events. They want the children to be well rounded. The school relies heavily on staff and parent volunteers since it does not have much funding and it serves mostly low income students. Yet everyone serves with all their heart !! Aside from the playground, during her school year at this school, it was nothing but pleasant experiences. The school office staff and teachers were all very nice and welcoming. Across the street is Francis' daycare / afterschool care. The school knows and recommends this place. My daughter was dropped off here before school and was picked up by Francis afterschool. The school provided a very good and safe atmosphere for the kids and so did Francis. I wish my daughter still attends this school; her best friend Ally still attends and her Mom is active in the PTA. It would have been nice to join the PTA knowing a friendly face. I just don't get that good vibe at my daughter's current school now. Parking is horrible in the morning therefore I would use Francis in the mornings, haha.
