She has been incredibly patient and encouraging, and has guided her step by step in a way that really built her confidence and interest in math. She goes beyond academics and truly cares about the children's overall well being and growth. She takes time to understand each child, highlights their strengths, and creates a positive space for learning. Her support, kindness, and constant communication with parents have meant a lot to us. We also appreciate the supportive school environment, all teachers and well maintained campus, which together creates a great place for children to learn and grow.

The 6th-grade team is highly professional, capable, and deeply invested in mentoring their students. * Ms. Khushboo (Math): She puts incredible dedication into improving student math levels. She is always approachable and spends a significant amount of time providing constructive feedback to parents, which helps keep students motivated on their academic journey. * Ms. Trautner (ELA): Friendly and kind, Ms. Trautner provides invaluable guidance on creating effective study plans. She makes sure that students are well prepared for upcoming assignments and tests through her organized approach and her sample tests. * Ms. Gardner (History & Specialty Subjects): She is very encouraging and mindful of the unique needs of growing pre-teens. We especially appreciate how she tracks Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) through engaging and thoughtful questions. * Ms. Revankar (Science): An award-winning educator, Ms. Revankar brings a high level of expertise to the science department. The science curriculum has hands-on activities and projects. Science camp was a lot of fun for the students as well! * Coach Scott (PE): He puts a lot of effort into designing and implementing a robust PE curriculum that keeps the students active and engaged. * Ms. Robinos (Spanish): She makes Spanish class creative and fun, successfully encouraging non-native speakers to participate and gain confidence in their speaking skills. * Mr. Chu (Computer Science): Mr. Chu assigns challenging projects that push students to develop & apply their technical skills in new ways, ensuring they stay ahead. The curriculum at Stratford is undoubtedly rigorous, and we truly appreciate the hard work of the teachers and leadership. The newly maintained school space also provides a great environment for learning. One area that can be improved is the extracurricular clubs - I think that there can be certain goals set which students aim at achieving over the course of the school year, and the mentors need to help them track the goals as well as communicate updates to parents better. We are hopeful that the clubs grow and evolve further in the coming year.

The school offered a great selection of classes, which made it easy to choose a variety of programs based on my child's interests and learning needs. One of the highlights was the Academic Bridge Camp taught by Ms. Mandal. It was a fantastic class that helped the children review and prepare for first grade in a fun and engaging way. The lessons allowed them to continue learning during the summer without feeling overwhelmed. Ms. Mandal is very organized and methodical. She sent a weekly newsletter explaining what would be covered and also provided daily email updates about the academic activities completed in class. This made it very easy for us to stay informed about what was happening in the classroom. She is kind, encouraging, and appreciative of the children while also maintaining good structure in the classroom. My child says she is "only a little strict" and likes her very much! We are very grateful to Ms. Mandal and the Stratford team for making the summer both educational and enjoyable.

Teaching science to pre-K students requires a special kind of magic, and she has it. My child comes home every week buzzing with excitement about gravity, life cycles, the solar system, transportation, water life cycle, bursting to explain how the world works. My child is completely hooked on science thanks to their amazing experiments and enthusiastic teaching style. She makes every lesson an adventure, and the growth we've seen in our child's critical thinking skills is incredible. I am constantly amazed by the sophisticated concepts my child brings home, all learned through play and hands-on activities. Ms. Swapna haven't just taught our child science; she has fostered a deep, lifelong curiosity about the universe. We are so grateful!"

My favorite of all my school years. The best food, the best teachers, the best times…read more The food was way above average than that of elementary. And there were no half hour waits in line like at MHS.The sausage biscuits at recess were hella good as were the sandwiches they served at lunch. The teachers here, for the most part werent your typical cardboard cutout, boring teachers.I actually enjoyed going to school when I went here.Alot more than I can say for my high school years.

I enjoyed most of my teachers, it was a safe environment, and I learned a lot. Something I didn't appreciate was if I got sick and I wanted to sleep in the nurse's office, my teachers would mark me as absent, and it wouldn't get excused when clearly I was just sick! So when my report card came home my mom was totally furious and thought I was skipping. Until after summer ended and she finally believed me -_- TRMS needs to work on that one. Anyway, I liked being active in school so it was pretty fun being in ASB and making new friends. The dances were always fun and safe. I remember back in the day when we used to sell glowsticks at dances, candy grams, etc. Haha, good times! Any school that's safe with a decent list of caring teachers is OK in my book.

I definitely have my pick of favorite teachers-- and they know who they are. I took my fair share of honors and AP classes. But the regular classes were the most fun. I visit every now and again. I've got some good memories of football games, school dances, and of course being on the swim team! I was most definitely all about swimming. Just thinking about all those 5AM swim session in January/February makes me miss the chlorine (yeah, I'm that obsessed with swimming. top 10 varsity baby!) I wish the sports director cared more about the swimming department. Our pools needed renovations. People scraped their feet and we weren't even allowed to dive in the water for our swim meets. We had to do in-water starts. For those of you who aren't familiar with swimming, having a great dive in the water could get you across half the pool! In-water starts SUCK. MHS is all about track and football. That's why they invest so much money into the track and astro turf. I just wished they showed the swimmers some love! Although the programs weren't the best, I still had a decent time here, great memories with friends I am still close to, and enough chlorine in my system to last me a lifetime.
