The school hired many dynamic teachers and adopted some of the more innovative ways of teaching students and making them feel like a part of a community. In a team based small community, teachers rotated amongst a small group of students throughout the day. Every teacher wants to get to know each child and nurture their souls and accept them as a person not as another student passing through the door. In recent years, Rancho became the school to watch in our state. Students who moved onto high school would come back to visit all the time to thank their teachers.

i've never attended school here, but this review is solely based on their baseball fields…read more i'm in a softball league and we use the fields during the season. the fields themselves are pretty decent, not too destroyed and maintained well. the problem lies in the time management. the backstop of one of the fields extends into a soccer field, so many times we've had to compete with a soccer game for time slots. SO ANNOYING! but overall, this site is a nice place to take a jog! lots of parking!

The teacher very clearly favors one student over another. On the flip side, if the teacher does not like a student, the teacher also will not hesitate to made that very clear to everybody including the kids, in many areas, without considering how terrible for the poor kids to bear. For example, the class you will be assigned to at the beginning of each academic year, is determined how much you are favored. Good students are often assigned to good class, bad students are assigned to bad class. We believe our son is not Ms Quinn's favorite, or Ms Quinn has certain bias against us, so we quickly ran away. I do not recommend Merryhill to anybody!

This review is for some of the students behavior and demeanor…read more One of the students in this school stole my child's yearbook in the locker room during PE - we preordered ours since the beginning of the year. We notified the office about the incident and there was nothing they could really do but advised us to buy again on whatever leftover yearbooks that they had which were only 10 copies. My child properly lined up to buy a copy when a group of 8th graders came and cut off all the students who waited patiently. One girl even ended up buying 5. They should've limit 1 copy per student. And whoever teacher was in charge at that yearbook sale should've kept an eye on the line. Such a disorganization and disappointment! Also, this school have kids bullying and intimidating other kids. Parents please choose caution when picking this school for your child/children. I almost wanted to believe that the students of this school improved till this incident happened to us.
