Historically, he focused primarily on subjects he enjoyed, but during the 3rd trimester he independently chose to participate in the Orator Showcase, a significant step outside his comfort zone. He practiced diligently and took feedback seriously. I attribute much of this newfound confidence to Ms. Baltazar's encouragement. By giving him a speaking role in the spring program, she helped him feel capable, valued, and willing to take on new challenges. We have had a terrible experience with the principal and our daughter's class teachers. They lack accountability, lack empathy and compassion! Instead of helping my daughter succeed, they are blaming my 9 yr old daughter some of the teaching shortcomings! They do not share a single positive feedback and only harp on the negatives. They have done a great job at destroying a kid's morale. All wishy-washy talk. Also the principal is afraid to even hold a simple conference of parents collectively asking questions/sharing concerns in 1 setting. Instead, we are told that we will have to individually share our concerns 1-1. You tell me: Why would a principal be afraid to hold a collective parents' session? The last straw was PTA conference where the principal and 2 teachers ganged up on our 9 yr old daughter with 100% criticisms and 0% positive feedback/ensouragement in front of my wife. The whole experience left my wife & daughter in tears. I am shocked that these people get to keep their job with 0 accountability. Our 9 yr old daughter is very obedient, kind and positive. Sometimes on the shy side. Stay away from this toxic place and save your money. Our biggest regret that we enrolled our daughter in this Mipitas Corning campus. read more

While still a new campus, the staff does an excellent job at upholding and inculcating Stratford culture. Specifically, there's great emphasis on STEAM learning, social skills and child development beyond traditional areas. The teachers are in-tune with children, pay good attention to, and foster their development. We've also gotten detailed and timely feedback from teachers - which is great. I think I left this review late. But I always think Stratford is a great school, and my kid has been preparing for the grade-3 entrance exam for months. 2 months ago we had a tour with teacher Heba. It was an very impressive experience. Heba shared a lot about how Stratford educates and develops students to grow to be more competitive! After the conversation, I believe Stratford is the right choice for my child. Heba also shared how to do home schooling to prepare for the entrance exam and my kid has made lots of progress following Heba's suggestions over the last few months. read more

My son has a great experience at Stratford Corning. It's small yet warm environment. The teachers in his KG class, Mrs. Sharma and Ms. Pelayo, are caring and encouraging. My son was quite shy at the beginning of this school year. He is more talkative and confident after one semester. He gained social skills and made some good friends. The teachers also offered to work together to help on behavior problem at home, and taught my kid to be thankful. I'm very satisfied with my son's development so far. The staff are nice and warmhearted. I'm also impressed that the principal, Mrs. Saham, was able to recognize my son within 2 weeks of school, in spite of more than 100 new kindergarteners. read more

Excellent school and staff!! Our daughter is in KG & she loves it here. Our experience started with admissions where Heba was of tremendous help. Ou daughter's KG teacher Mrs. Collado is one of the best teachers and focused on the all-round development of kids. The Spanish, Music & P.E. teachers are all very good & I see significant development in my kid in all of these areas. Mrs. Saham & Mrs. Aucker manage the school very well whether it is safety, security, pick-up & drop-offs, or events. Annette at the reception is extremely helpful & prompt. Friendly advice for parents of Stratford students: if you ordered food for your child via Choicelunch app, make sure you child receives his/her meal. When you order food in container, your child will get it. However, small individually packed food such burger or sandwich can mysteriously disappear, and staff won't inform you about it. So, your child might be hungry for more than 6 hours. Regarding this issue school staff blames company that delivers food and vice versa. At the end of the day, nobody will take responsibility, because they don't care. read more

My son has been going to Stratford on Corning Ave for almost 2 years now. I really like the location & the new infrastructure and the convenience of a spacious campus. Coming out of the pandemic, many kids were struggling to cope and my son was having his own challenges too, but the school was very supportive and was able to help him rise up. Obviously, schools are a function of teachers and he loves his 1st grade teacher. He looks forward to learning and comes back home each day in a happy mood. We personally have seen him thrive and grow. The curriculum is well-rounded and does not put a child through a burdensome schedule that discourages learning. There are some bursts of speed a couple times each year where parents have to spend more time with kids, but is not something that you cannot discuss with the teachers and find a happy path. I'm sure this is common across many Stratford schools across the Bay Area, but we really love the approachability of the teachers and the principal at this campus and have been very vocal of what we like and dislike. We like that we are being heard and appropriate actions follow-on to ensure that challenges are mitigated and Stratford Corning stays a great learning & growing environment for our son. read more

His teacher Ms. Baltazar is a very loving, passionate and patient educator; she gives very good academic works during class and pays attention to students' responses make sure they fully understand, my son learns very well with her! We are proud parents of a Stratford - Milpitas Corning student. We are very satisfied and glad we chose to send our son to this private school despite living in a school district with excellent public schools. The curriculum is well-rounded, the students get to learn a variety of subjects and the staff does a phenomenal job teaching the children advanced concepts in low-stress and caring ways. Our son is in in KG, with Mrs. Fatema Zohra and Ms. Saritha Lodha they have both taught my son many critical reading, writing and math skills. I'm frankly amazed at how much he has learned in such a short amount of time! They are also kind and make sure our son has adjusted to school with care. We had our child enrolled in kindergarten (and also in K-Prep Summer classes) in Stratford Milpitas Corning Campus. It is a five-star environment, in my opinion, everything is perfect!! Excellent curriculum, highly qualified and caring teachers, an active and cooperative administration, clubs, extra-curricular activities, and many more. New building with a beautiful interior ( my kid liked that a lot and was happy about it when they moved here from his Pre-K school). The campus at Milpitas Corning has a very welcoming vibe. The kids looked like they were enjoying their school life here, and the few that I came across with in the hallway were well mannered. I understand this is a new campus but their restrooms looked clean from the outside (I didn't go in). For an elementary school, this was very impressive. Ms. Heba guided us through the tour and she addressed all of our concerns. I went into the tour and the meeting feeling very nervous but I was at ease when I left. She was very patient and caring. Ms. Kristen, the principal, was also very welcoming and felt like a ray of sunshine to me. I am glad that I can still meet educators like them. read more

Be very careful about signing up here for the Summer camps. This institution post pandemic has become just a money making institution. One of the most important point to be warned about is that the $100 non refundable deposit is per camp (ie per week). So if for some reason you signed up for 10 weeks of day camp and you had to to travel abroad then be prepared to lose 10x100 = 1000 deposit. Even if it has been a couple of weeks of enrollment, the moment they charge your credit card, kiss your heard earned money goodbye. Personally, I see this as one of the many options available for those, who want just a baby sitting service during summer. But in-terms of any real skill development I saw no improvement at all. The playground is a joke. I have seen public playgrounds much better equipped and any kind of sport training is just a bunch of kids throwing the ball around. read more

We toured the school for my daughter's kindergarten admission. Heba accommodated us. The tour was beyond our expectation. The building is brand new and just put into use January 2022, and all the facilities and rooms are well planned and organized. Kids here all look happy and courteous, and Heba knows every kid's name from K to 5th grade! Stratford Milpitas Corning is a beautiful brand new campus with a group for amazing teachers. Have been very happy about the decision on sending our kiddo here. Today I received a special call from the computer teacher Ms. Kumar. She complimented about how great our son was doing in her class. As a parent I was so touched hearing that and it really made my day. I was even more touched by how Ms. Kumar made an extra step during her busy day to deliver the feedback to me. The school was very fancy, it's brand new with design details that are super impressive - the stair handrails are friendly to kids with different heights; the event room is nice and large, so it can be used as indoor gym when weather isn't good; there's awesome shading on top of the outdoor playground; Classrooms are nice and large and clean and lovely. My daughter is enrolled in the 2nd grade at Milpitas Corning after she attended Stratford Online Academy for over two years. Staff and teachers are friendly and helpful. It seems that all the teachers know every student's name. Every morning, when greeted by the teachers, I know my daughter will have a great day at school. That's so important! My daughter met her online Kindergarten teacher Ms. Collado again on the campus. I can tell my daughter loves her 2nd grade teacher Miss. Baltazar as well. We feel so grateful that my daughter has Miss. Baltazar as her 1st teacher when she was back to the "real" campus. Miss. Baltazar has definitely made this transition very smoothy and pleasant. She knows how to inspire the little souls and I can tell that she really loves and cares for all her students in the class. Stratford -Milpitas Corning is a brand new site with great updates classrooms and student desks , music hall , play area . Ratio of students and kids is great for younger classes like kg. The facility is just great for any prospective family to send kids . The director of admissions - respected MS Heba is a gem of a lady with great heart ,great school representative and liaison between prospective parents and school who spends the best time with parents and help them navigate through right steps of application or any concerns and also responds needed emails after hours.
