We recently toured Stratford School (Beresford Square Campus) and had a wonderful experience…read more Rashmi was welcoming, informative, and made the entire visit feel comfortable and thoughtful. The campus felt warm, organized, and well structured, and it was clear the students are happy and well cared for. One of the sweetest moments was seeing a few girls in my daughter's prospective classroom come up to say hello -- it truly reflected the nurturing environment. We're genuinely excited for her to start this upcoming fall and look forward to joining the Stratford community!

Thank you, Ms. Richa and Ms. Anna, for supporting my daughter's growth in the last school year!…read moreThey've created loving and fun environment for the pre-K kids to thrive - We have seen our daughter's confidence grow and develop growth mindset under their guidance over the course of the 7 months. They are both so attentive and really understands every kid's strengths. Ms. Anna is always full of energy and nailed the parent teacher conference on delivering our daughter's strengths and growth areas. Ms. Richa really cares about the kids' growths - I love that Ms. Richa truly treats us parents as partners in helping our daughter gain more confidence. Even during the school tour, Ms. Richa made my daughter feel comfortable, answered my questions thoroughly, and she's the reason why we picked Stratford and campus. My daughter loves her teachers and classmates so much that she asks us why there is no school on the weekends and holidays. That's the testament to the environment they've created.

Fantastic school. My daughter loves all her teachers and she gets a well rounded education…read more Unfortunately, as a public school, they still have to teach at a steady pace for all students which may be a little slower if your kid is a quicker on the uptake. We have to supplement her with additional home work at home. However, she's getting a quality education without us having to pay 10-20k for a private school. The most important thing is parent involvement. Money alone can't give your kid a quality education. This school has steadily gone up in ranks, and since the switch to Common Core testing instead of API, this is now a 10 ranked school. This just shows that the API can be gamed by rote memorization. As a parent, I had to relearn some of the concepts with Common Core, but it makes a lot of sense. I'm not sure why other parents hate it. The most important thing about Common Core is that there is not one way of getting the answers right. I teach my kids the curriculum method but I also teach them the old methods as well. Knowing more than one way to solve a problem and understanding *why* and *how* are the keystones of Common Core.

I once dropped my eraser and I got in trouble for dropping an eraser like dude it's an eraser. 3. Last, but not least the lunch food their sucks it doesn't taste good so I suggest u to bring lunch boxes. That's why I give this school 2 stars.

Children are encouraged to play, learn and taught everyday stuff making them confident and independent. The superstars of this school are the teachers. They are always patient, encouraging and very helpful. Highly recommend this school to all parents looking for a great learning environment for their kids.

If you are looking for the perfect preschool for your child, Day Star Montessori is it…read more My daughter started at Day Star when she was 22 months old in the Infant class, moved on to the toddler/potty training class and is now leaving for TK after 2.5 years. It is bittersweet because our family loves this school, but we know she is well-prepared for elementary school because of how much she has grown at Day Star. All the teachers and staff are caring, patient, responsive and true experts in the field of early childhood education. They have the perfect balance of nurturing a love of learning, teaching respect and boundaries, instilling independence, and creating a fun environment. I trusted them fully with my daughter's safety and well-being because they truly earned my trust. My daughter is very independent and strong-willed, and it was amazing to see how her teachers were able to bring out the best in her without stifling her strong spirit. She LOVES going to school - she would actually complain about having to stay home when she was sick and asked me to drop her off earlier so she could have more time to do work and pick the lessons she wanted before they were taken! For anyone worried about Montessori teaching lacking structure compared to more traditional classroom settings, at 4 years old my daughter is able to write her full name, write all the letters and numbers up to 200, do addition, and identify all 7 continents and the majority of countries in each on a world map. Thanks to Day Star, she knows exactly where Suriname is! I am so grateful to Day Star and couldn't recommend them more.
