There has to be a better way to manage patients so they won't have to wait for a Doctor over an hour!

Dr is good but staff is unprofessional, don't return phone calls, and rude to patients.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Georgia Eye Partners. My appointment was…read morescheduled for 10:00 AM, and I was not even called back until after 11:00 AM. The office later explained that there were only two doctors and three technicians working that day, but staffing issues should not become the patient's burden -- especially without proper communication or time management. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing another patient with a 10:30 AM appointment get seen before I was ever called. At that point, it became very clear that appointments were not being handled fairly or efficiently. The delays became so excessive that I ultimately had to leave without being seen because the office had run so far behind schedule. Patients organize their entire day around medical appointments, and wasting over an hour of someone's time with little transparency or urgency is unacceptable. I understand that unexpected situations happen in healthcare, but this experience reflected poor scheduling, poor communication, and a lack of respect for patients' time. If the office knows it is severely understaffed or running significantly behind, patients should be informed upfront instead of being left sitting indefinitely in a waiting room. If you are someone who values your time, schedule, and basic professionalism, this may not be the location for you. Very disappointing experience overall.

These people are unprofessional and just want your money! The young person doing my eye exam was…read morechewing gum and had a negative attitude, then the doctor who followed up seemed to have no interest in giving me information, then they said I needed Cataract Surgery and sent me to talk to the financial person to get prices. I had a bad feeling about them and wanted another opinion so I went to get another exam at Emory Hospital. This exam was much more thorough, nicer people and Much more professional. I turned out that I did NOT need surgery at all......just Night Glasses for driving at night to cut down the glare. I have a slight astigmatism in one eye, not cataracts. Don't waste your money on Georgia Eye Partners!

I consider myself very experienced in assessing the quality of ophthalmology care. You are in good hands here. I appreciated that Sarah Williford took the time to show me the results of my tests and make sure I understood and did not have any questions. Worth highlighting: the practice takes Anthem Blue Vision - this was the fourth practice I called (on the Anthem Blue Cross website) and the staff took the time to look up my insurance and tell me the name of my vision insurance was Blue Vision- information not on my card, so I was impressed. Other ophthalmologists did not take that time & turned me away. Also, I received a text message with full disclosure about the cost of additional tests that the practice runs due to their standard of care- well before my appointment. This transparency is very helpful. The costs were modest. The space is in an older home near the heart of Decatur, walkable from Marta. There is also free parking behind - which is a big plus in Decatur. (Actually, free parking is a big plus anywhere in Atlanta, and I find that most doctors don't validate parking. ) It looks like they have a good selection of glasses frames and the staff are friendly and helpful. My appointment was right on time, and I was out far quicker than expected.

Last year 2025 , I had eye surgery due to a specific eye dystrophy that dictated that the glasses needed to be specific to my particular visual needs. So I was escorted to the front of the office and the Dr. told the eye wear manager/ sales person what I needed. I looked at the different types of frames available and indicated to her that the frames were way out of my price range . I told her that I would have to bring in old frames to have lenses inserted. We went over the types of prescriptions I needed in my lens ( transitions, progressive glare reduction kinda stuff. . I also wanted a a pair of sun glasses for distance when driving also giving her my own frames for distance as well. The total was 756.00. I know I could have said no thank you but I thought I needed that particular prescription. to see better. So I reluctantly gave her my card. Fast forward to today, I went to a different eye center for an exam and glasses. I got the same exact prescription for both glasses with frames included for 375.00. I was so focused on my medical needs for my eyes that I paid a huge price the first time even with telling her I couldn't afford the frames I guess , with all that being said I still got the most expensive prescription lenses nontheless. I did question why the lenses cost so much but her sales pitch seemed logical for my needs. The moral of my story is to not always believe that your best financial decision will be considered

I've been going to Belvedere since 2018 or sooner. I've always appreciated the service I received…read morefrom Dr. Peggy Sinkoe. It was always thorough and my contact lense prescriptions were normally accurate, so the quality was acceptable. The customer service was also normally feasible considering. They recently relocated the office to North Decatur Rd. in Decatur, GA. I live in Newnan, GA now, so it's a bit of a farther drive for me. I drove there and arrived after noon today to see if I could get a new eye exam as a walk-in. (They accept walk-ins between 11AM-2PM.) I didn't recognize the staff assuming they were all new, but I did see Dr. Peggy, her brother Dr. David and her daughter Dr. Ginsburg walk through the lobby. I was finally asked to come to the desk for service after waiting for about 20 minutes. I didn't have an appointment, so I didn't expect to be quickly seen. I was advised I would need to pay $135 for the exam for contacts, plus the price of the contacts and was advised it would also include a prescription for glasses. I was told this was the price without insurance. I didn't appreciate that I was told they didn't even retain any of my previous records prior to one year ago. Since they are in a new location, I wasn't in their system and was told I would be treated as a brand new patient with no file. What? After all these years, I needed to now be treated like you don't know me? I didn't like that. I had already used my yearly insurance allowance on an eye exam from Stanton Optical that resulted in a very inaccurate prescription for contacts. I previously went to Stanton Optical because Belvedere was closed. Today, after getting that price and being told I would need to be entered into the system as a new customer, I decided I would check other vendor locations. I ended up going to America's Best and was charged $119 for the same services. I was very disappointed that I had driven all the way from Newnan to go and get a prescription from Belvedere and ultimately ended going somewhere else. I could've gone to an America's Best in Newnan and saved myself some time and gas! Belvedere Eye Center needs to change their name because they're not the same! (Not to mention they're no longer located in Belvedere!) I won't be going back there again. After all this time, I guess they've finally lost me as a customer.

Horrible experience from start to finish. The office is unprofessional, money-hungry, and…read morecompletely inconsistent. I brought my 4-year-old for a school eye exam--exam was fine, but everything fell apart when selecting glasses. The eye doctor personally showed us Peach State-covered frames, I paid, and was told they'd be ready in 3-5 days. No one called. Two weeks later, I had to chase them down. The glasses broke within a month (they were supposedly "indestructible"). Over the phone, I was told a free replacement was covered. At the office, suddenly I "picked the wrong ones" and had to pay $59. They pulled out a different set and claimed those were the Peach State options--even though the doctor knew what insurance I had when helping me choose. I later asked for the PD to order glasses online--was told the doctor couldn't legally give it over the phone or she'd lose her license. That's a blatant lie (I fact-checked). I never got the email they promised and had to pay another provider to get the info. Bottom line: I'll never return. This office is deceitful, unaccountable, and disgraceful. To the doctor continuing her mother's practice--shame on you for how you're running it now.

The caller had a thick accent and I asked where she was calling from, she would only say she was working remotely. I point blank asked her if she was in India, she said "yes". I asked her if she had my date of birth, she had my correct date of birth. The terrible part. The urgent care I visited last year, Northlake Urgent Care, located at 4060 Lavista Road is also SnapCare Clinic. This business has sent my personal information overseas to a call center in India. My name, address, social security number, date of birth, and phone number are all being traded in a foreign country known for identity fraud and scam calls. Now they are trading my personal information amongst themselves. Five minutes after I began to write this review, my wife called me and told me she had received the same call from the same person. She visited that same location before I visited. The only reason I gave a one star rating is because there is not a rating below one star. DO NOT do business with these people. They are providing your personal information to foreign entities that can do anything they wish with it, without consequence.
