In atypical fashion, my wait was much too long. Two people who arrived 15-30 minutes after me were taken to the back before me (even though I arrived before my appointment time). I was told I was waiting for a room to be available so I'm not sure why my wait was so long. Once in the back, the appointment ran fairly smoothly. The doctor was able to explain diagnose my issue quickly and send in an eye drop prescription for me that cleared it up. It worked well enough that I was able to cancel my follow-up appt a week later. The office is always clean and nicely organized. The staff is usually pleasant.

They make you pay for an "optional" exam because the owner "believes" so much in the necessity of the exam. Never again! I highly recommend avoiding this practice. They had them on the display but the sales woman let us know this particular model was unavailable. She let us know that they are out of stock. I asked if she could check other Lens Crafters and was told she did and that no one had them. My wife asked if she could be put on a call list so that when some came in she could be notified. She took my wife's information and sent us on our way. We left the Pavilion and went straight to Cumberland Mall to go to the Apple Store. We also went into the Lens Crafters there and they had the Metas my wife was looking for....the same ones that the Pavillion said were out of stock and that no one had them. I will go to Cumberland Mall from now on.

Dr. Samuels and her team are the reason I still have the ability to see. I had a very dangerous situation with my left eye that if not properly diagnosed could have left me blind in that eye. The doctor worked quickly to examine and get me the proper treatment to save my vision. Every time I have called for help with my vision her and the team have went always taken care of me. beware of this place!!!!! if i can give them zero stars i would have! please do not go here! they…read morewill give you the wrong prescription so that you are forced to buy the glasses from them! i took my son for an eye exam and i had asked for a copy of his prescription because they did have not have the glasses he wanted. so i ordered his glasses using the prescription the eye doctor gave us. when the glasses came, my son said he could not see from it. so i went back to this place (clarkson eyecare in sharpsburg) and told them that the prescription they gave us was wrong and that my son could not see. i asked them if they can refund me for the glasses i paid for and they said they could not give me a refund because the glasses did not come from them, but the prescription was from them and that they have nothing to do with that. (it would have never happened if they just gave us the right prescription to begin with). ****a prescription is a prescription written by a doctor that have a license. so if a doctor gives you a wrong a prescription wouldn't that be called malpractice??? imagine if you take your child to a hospital and the doctor gave you a wrong prescription with wrong dosage and your child dies, wouldn't it be the prescribing doctors fault that your child dies because of malpractice for giving wrong prescription??? it's the same thing with glasses. you get a prescription from a licensed doctor, they examine you so that they can make sure you can see properly because without glasses you cannot see properly. what if something bad happens to my child because of him not being able to properly see from the glasses prescription the eye doctor of clarkson eyecare in sharpsburg gave?? i should be able to sue them for prescription error in the form of medical malpractice. ****ps, they messed up, they want us to get the glasses from them. they won't even give us a refund for them messing up the glasses.
