Overall, my experience was just okay. I did appreciate the pace of the exam it felt efficient and not rushed, which I liked. However, the overall customer service left a lot to be desired. Maybe it was just an off day, but no one seemed very engaged or excited to help me. I understand working on a Saturday isn't always ideal, but as a patient, you can definitely feel the difference in energy. After my exam, I was told I could browse the glasses if I was interested, so I went over specifically looking for the Meta frames. I spent about 30 minutes trying on and looking at options, and not once did anyone approach me to offer help or guidance. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't sure what the process was, and the lack of assistance was frustrating. I was genuinely interested in purchasing a pair, but the experience made me feel like I'd rather spend my money somewhere else. read more

The first doctor, an older man, who did an eye exam didn't do a proper one. He only tested two different lens settings, neither of which worked, he said OK thank you and handed me a prescription. I went out and completed my order but when the glasses came back I could not see out of them. They were the completely wrong prescription. A young female doctor then did another exam, a thorough one this time. We went out and re-ordered the glasses, but after waiting for them for two weeks, when I called to see if they were in yet, apparently the order had been canceled for some reason. As I write this, the story is not over because I'm waiting a call back to tell me exactly what happened and what maybe we can do to fix the problem. Everyone there is very nice, but nice isn't sufficient if everything's getting screwed up. A couple of hours later: I never got a call back so after a couple of hours, I called back myself. It turns out that in entering the order somebody left out a line of measurements (don't ask me to explain it because I don't understand it exactly). They then said it'd be about a week before I get my glasses now that they've got it straightened out. I asked them to please put me to the front of the line since I've already waited three weeks. They said they'd see what they could do. I looked back through my credit card statement to see what day all this started. October 15 was the original eye exam and purchase of glasses ($349 out-of-pocket - I forget what the insurance portion was). I went to get the new glasses on October 29, only to find out that they had the wrong prescription. It is now November 10 and hopefully now the lab will get to work on my new glasses. Also, I was told that the first doctor that saw me retired right after that and I may have been one of the last people he examined. I'm glad they're all friendly and trying to solve the issue, but geez! read more

I'm truly grateful for the doctor at this office -- she is the only one who has gotten my prescription right since I moved to Georgia, and my actual exam experience was great. Unfortunately, the customer service completely overshadowed that positive experience. Two weeks before my appointment, I called to schedule and was left on hold for 30 minutes with no one ever returning, so I ended up booking through the patient portal instead. After my appointment, I called with a simple question about my exam. I was placed on hold for 25 minutes, the representative came back briefly, said "please hold," and then disconnected me. When he finally returned -- after an entire hour on hold -- he greeted me with "Hi, how can I help you?" as if nothing had happened. When I pointed it out, he denied it, even though he has a very distinct voice I recognized from my in-person visit. He sounds like the late rapper "Pop Smoke" He offered to take my number so a doctor could call me back. That call never came. I truly value good customer service, and this office does not deliver in that area. While I'm thankful for the quality of care I received from the doctor, the front office experience was so poor that I've decided not to purchase my glasses or contacts through them. Good care deserves good service -- and unfortunately, this place is only delivering half of that. read more

I brought in my own frames and paid for exam and lenses. I was told I'd get a call when ready. I did not. So I called, only to find that they have no idea where my glasses are! They sent me to Macy's to get a pair of frames to replace my own. Extremely inconvenient. read more

The store was extremely busy the day, I was there to get an adjustment on my glasses. The store manager was on the sales floor assisting and taking phones. The manager was very exceptional in dealing with all that was going. What really impressed me was the managers conversation with an irrate customer on the phone. In this day and times when people can be very rude, which you could tell by managers facial expression but she remained professional until customer hung up phone on the manager and all she did was smile and returned to assist me with a pleasant demeanor. The Dr. here is amazing!! Everyone was helpful from the back to the front. I came here last year and I saw the same Dr. she really cares about your vision. She had to change my contact lens prescription and now I can see so good with them it's scary lol. Also, they always have the glasses I come in for. Will be back next year for my yearly! read more

Do not go to this location. They are charging you for retinal eye exam every year for $30.00. If you op-out for the procedure they will refuse you for your eye exam. I ask the lady to charge it to my insurance. She pulled my chart folder played on her computer like she charging it to my insurance. Then said they not paying for it. This whole time my insurance company was on the phone listening to the conversation. I had eye exam and retinal eye exam there in September 2022. They were trying to charge me again this year 2023 for retinal eye exam. I'm 44 I do not need to get this type of exam done every year. Understand this retinal eye exam can be damaging to your eyes if they are using eye drops. And if it's being done every single year. A photo can be taken of your eye so the doctor can see the inside of your eye. But this is something you do not need to be done every single year. Unless you have been Diagnosed with diabetes You would need to go to an ophthalmologist. They do not have one at this sight. Here are the Ages when the retinal eye exam need to be done. 20 to 39: Every 5 years. Ages 40 to 54: Every 2 to 4 years. Ages 55 to 64: Every 1 to 3 years. I bought glass this year totaling over 600.00, I called on a Monday I just wanted to get a receipt. The Manager Monica, took my information. NO one never called me back. I waited and spoke to Mercedes she basically said the same thing the manager said. 'WE ARE BUSY' all I wanted is a receipt. Monica was out and James was the next in c charge , I guess the way Mercedes was talking like she didn't want or there was no one to talk to. You can't or no one cant print a receipt. First time at this lens crafters, and I came specifically for an eye exam for new contacts. After, I finished my eye exam about three weeks past with no update of when my new contacts were coming in. I decided to call and come to find out they never shipped them. However, I ended up getting them shipped. When I received the contacts I couldn't even see out of them. Although, they were very helpful when I told them the contacts weren't the right ones i'd never come back to this lens crafters again. read more

The staff was very nice and the Doctor was good. The problem I have is I called ahead of time to ask the cost. I am unemployed and I have no insurance so the cost was really important to me. I spoke to a woman and was told that if I had my eyes dilated the price would be $80 and if not $140 for the other equipment that takes pictures of your eyes. Okay I make an appointment. I went and was told they never had a $80 exam and it would be $140. My Dad made up the difference. Why would I make up a $80 exam if I was not told that? I feel Lenscrafters owes the difference. I came to this local lenscrafters to have a prescription added to frames I already owned. I was immediately greeted as I walked through the door, by DJ a very lively associate who really seemed to enjoy what she did, she was extremely helpful, and very pleasant. I had also had my exam done at this location almost a year earlier and Dr. Barker also was extremely nice and very personable. I had the Clarifye exam which I love I always wondered why something this advanced and easy wasn't available sooner. All in all I have had consistently good experiences with this location from exam, glasses, contacts, and online ordering. I highly recommend this location. I had an appt. for Thursday 4/11/19. for 10:00am. when I arrived I was greeted with smiles. I was also seen immediately by the person giving me the eye exam, few moments after that I was handed over to Dr. Jeffery Musler, less than ten minutes he had giving me a number of eye test/exams, handed me over to other staff members whom fitted me for frames and bifocules. I was then told it would be two hrs. well it only took the lab tech an hour and a half. they were extremely welcoming and helpful. I called the office because I would be 7 mins late, according to my gps. It was raining heavily and there was traffic. I was told I had to reschedule because the doctor was going to lunch. That was terrible and bad customer service. I change doctors to come there and I went back to my old doctor, they at least have a grace period. I mean 7 mins really. That was real messed up. Rude, rude, rude!!! Everytime I call this store (1363 Mount Zion Road, Morrow, GA) I am more shocked by the new heights of rudeness that they display. I had an appointment here at 10:15 I left at 11:15 since I had yet to see the Dr. What is the point of having an appointment if I'm going to have to wait an hour? ANNOYED!!!! My exam was awesome. However when ordering my glasses I was told 10 business days after waiting patiently for a call or text after 10 days I still never got one. I decided to follow up and I was told my glasses were sent and delivered but couldn't be found. My next question was how often does that happen? He say to me almost never.. Really?? Please go somewhere else. The physician tried to charge me 95.00 for him writing a prescription. After I already paid for an exam. Later the GM tried to use the excuse that he charged for an office visit. In addition to an eye exam. When I spoke to the General Manager she stated this was normal. I can honesty say it is not. I went somewhere else although I had already had an eye exam and they wrote a prescription and guess what no charge! I was told by the GM that they are more thorough than the other place, that they spend more time with you. That is not true. The only thing they have is a wider variety of expensive frames. I never write reviews but this doctor, and i use that term loosely is awful. He's old and basically just doesn't give a damn. I've been there 3 times and he's always late. He has boggled my prescription over and over again to the point where i disputed the visit with insurance and the bank to get my money back. Terrible !!!!!! Staff is unprofessional and refuse to assist you over the phone. My contact and sunglass order was lost. It took four calls and a demand to speak with management. I went to this lenscrafters and was blown away by the friendly sales associate that worked with me (ask for Annie). She wasn't pushy, but directed me to options that would look good on my face (I'd come from another place where no one helped me, and another where the lady told me my eyes were close-set so it was definitely a step up). They went through a lot of trouble to get my prescription and some insurance issues worked out that were messed up from where I got my eye exam done somewhere less competent. I love the way they take pictures of your four favorite options and put them on the screen for you to compare...The only problem I had was that my glasses took a week longer to come in than originally stated-but I did receive a phone call to update me and apologize, and got a discount because of it. My mom went with me and said that she will definitely use them next time she needs glasses. read more
