I went to Lenscrafters located at 160 Pavilion Pkwy Fayetteville, GA to get an exam and order a…read morepair of glasses.. At lenscrafters, They had an onsite optician to do the exam. I received the exam, picked out glasses and purchased them.. 10 days later they called and let me know my glasses and contacts were in. I went to pick them up and when I put them on, it was obvious that the prescription was not correct. The glasses were verilux so there were three fields of vision; far, center and close. The center and close are fine, the far or normal is blurry and fuzzy. I brought this to the customer service reps attention and was told to "Wear them for a week or two and see if that helps". So I did. Well, it didn't help, so I returned to the center and asked to have the exam and glasses redone under their unconditional guarantee. I was told at that point that there would be a $45 "refraction" fee to schedule another exam.. I was surprised at this, "My glasses weren't made correctly and you want to charge me another fee to fix it", I asked. I was told that that was the Dr's policy and if I didn't like it, I could return the glasses.. I told the customer service rep that I would rather them fix their mistake and give me the glasses I ordered, but they insisted on charging me a fee to fix their mistake. At that point, I returned my purchase and left the store.. I went to make another appointment at another place and was told I'm not eligible for another exam until 2021. Please note: I paid everything that they asked. I received a product that was not correct. I asked them to correct it and was told I had to pay more money. I returned the defective products. Now I need to go somewhere else and get the glasses I need, but I can't because the place that gave me the defective products took my benefits.

Wait time has always been under 15 minutes and last week I was seen within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. I was in the office for my annual exam last week and had a chance to observe their infection control practice. The doctor and staff wore masks, social distancing was implemented, patients were required to wear a mask (masks provided if needed), and all of exam equipment was cleaned with 95+% isopropyl alcohol based wipes in my presence prior to my exam. (it would have never happened if they just gave us the right prescription to begin with). ****a prescription is a prescription written by a doctor that have a license. so if a doctor gives you a wrong a prescription wouldn't that be called malpractice??? imagine if you take your child to a hospital and the doctor gave you a wrong prescription with wrong dosage and your child dies, wouldn't it be the prescribing doctors fault that your child dies because of malpractice for giving wrong prescription??? it's the same thing with glasses. you get a prescription from a licensed doctor, they examine you so that they can make sure you can see properly because without glasses you cannot see properly. what if something bad happens to my child because of him not being able to properly see from the glasses prescription the eye doctor of clarkson eyecare in sharpsburg gave?? i should be able to sue them for prescription error in the form of medical malpractice. ****ps, they messed up, they want us to get the glasses from them. they won't even give us a refund for them messing up the glasses.

Office staff and dentist were extremely friendly on a face-to-face basis; however, every visit felt like an upsell of a procedure and every single visit ended up with a billing irregularity. On our last visit, which was simply for annual x-ray and cleaning we were billed extra. When I called both the office and our insurance company the bill was coded as that I received extra x-rays. Since I was having no problems and no cavities, it appears that they added extra x-rays to the billing that I did not receive, and my insurance applied it to my co-pay. When I called to try to straighten it out, the front desk staff admitted that I had extra x-rays and cannot explain why. She tried to blame it on insurance. Isure if they are coding to pad the bill to get extra money, hoping that no one notices.
