    I purchased my first transition eyewear from another business and had challenges with them from the day I bought them. I shared my concerns and was told that it's just how it was going to be for me. I pretty much gave up on having clear vision. A year later I visited Visionworks and immediately felt as if I had been a long-time customer. I ordered contacts first and returned months later in January to get eyewear. The team is incredible, especially Ingrid. They really make vision work. I guess that's why they selected their name!

    25 MINUTE HOLD TIME So at the moment I'm writing this review while I'm on hold to set an appt with this location. I see a lot of bad reviews for this location n will be taking my business to a more professional chain. This sucks. do better....!!

A few days later I got a text saying, "Your new glasses are ready at LensCrafters. Stop in anytime. See you soon!" I went straight to the store, and the lady at the front desk said she couldn't give me my glasses because an optician wasn't present. After completing the online paperwork, the front desk worker didn't explain what to do next, which made the process confusing. I was told I could browse and look for glasses but wasn't given any directions on how to try them on or a tray to place the ones I liked. I had to ask someone for help before getting any assistance. During checkout, the associate didn't go over the prices of the glasses I selected, and I was charged for the eyewear protection plan without even discussing or agreeing to that option. I'm not even sure they used my correct vision insurance plan. Overall, my visit felt disorganized and lacked clear communication. I hope future visits will show more attention to detail and better customer service.

She constantly feels like there is something stuck in her eye every single day. This is not a minor inconvenience. It affects her quality of life all day, every day. She has told the exact same consistent story to every doctor she has seen. This is not confusion. This is not an exaggeration. This is a persistent, lived physical experience. At her recent appointment with Dr. Eddie Harris, she hoped to feel heard. Instead, she was completely dismissed. He told her there was "nothing wrong" and instructed her to stop seeing other eye doctors and just go back to her primary care physician. A primary care physician...for an eye issue following cataract surgery. That suggestion alone was confusing and felt like a way to brush her off. What was worse than the words was the tone. The dismissiveness. The implication that she was imagining it. When an elderly patient expresses ongoing discomfort that has lasted for years, the bare minimum expectation is compassion and curiosity, not condescension. There are few things more defeating than knowing something is wrong with your body and being made to feel like you're crazy for saying it. If you are looking for an ophthalmologist who listens carefully, takes persistent symptoms seriously, and treats patients with empathy, I would strongly encourage you to consider your options carefully. No patient, especially not an elderly one, deserves to leave a medical appointment feeling unheard, minimized, and embarrassed.

I was anxious to say the least about my eyesight. One visit with Dr. Harris and I felt 100% relaxed and confident that I was going to be fine. He actually takes time answering your questions and does not chive you the same acknowledgment for everything. He handles each concern individually. I moved my records to his office after my second visit. He is now my official Eye Care Specialist. His degrees are from Ivy League schools and his patient concern is beyond Ivy League. It is Ivy League plus five stars.
