This is one of those doctor offices that needs improvement Issues I have encountered. Appointments take a while to get, phone lines have a long hold time. They are busy and don't see you on time. My first appointment was booked at another location so once I was there I had to reschedule and it was a waste of my time. Dr Michaels is straight to the point, so have your questions ready before your appointment. I am ok with this to a degree as I don't want to waste his time nor mine but also feel that appointment felt too rushed. I am getting charged so I expect to have the doctor come in and not be in a rush to get out. I actually felt pressured and blanked out about another question I had. Once I was out at front desk checking out I remembered my question and had to have someone go ask the guy that was with Dr Michaels assisting him during the appointment. read more

Save yourself your time and sanity. We called about an appointment it took about hour for them to get to us on hold, they scheduled me on Presidents' Day (they are closed on Presidents' Day). Called me two times to reschedule, one at the end of the day on Friday and then on Monday, I called right back(literally 30 minutes after) and was on hold for over two hours waiting for them to answer and I gave up. Daisy, the receptionist that called, lied and said they tried getting ahold of me 3 times, and couldn't even pronounce my name right. It's a terrible experience just to even get an appointment. I gave a great review first time. now I noticed they only freeze the skin correctly less than 40% of the time. It's supposed to turn red and into a scab and fall off. When it does it is good for months at a time but several times it just got red and didn't help at all. Sometimes I could tell they were freezing with an empty canister that was just sputtering. they have tried to charge me extra for inadequate service. I have a bill right now. I told them I am not going to pay and it was from over a year ago that they said the insurance wasn't paying. read more

Appointment finally arrived, waited in waiting room 40min while others arrived and left. Finally to an exam room. Went in because ever since I lost my covid weight, my face has looked a little sunken in and I felt I always looked tired. Dr. Gonzalez and his assistant Ashley were amazing. He was able to give me face and lip filler that added just the right amount of volume to give me a natural looking youthful glow. Could not be more pleased with the results. In the before and after photos (before on the left) you can see he was able to fill in and soften some of my harsh wrinkles and my lips are plumper without looking ridiculously huge. Save your time and money and find another dermatologist. They make it incredibly difficult to get a hold of anybody or schedule an appointment. I had to wait a long time for my appointment day to finally get here and every time I've talked to their office they've been completely unhelpful and have requested the same information multiple times. Unfortunately, the front office staff seems very unorganized and are extremely unhelpful and pretty rude. After waiting so long for my appointment to finally come I get a call today that they need to cancel it because they don't have a referral and the insurance needs one. They've had all of my information for months and never needed anything additional stating that with my PPO I don't need a referral. Now less than a week prior to my appointment more info is needed. After expressing concern to the woman who called me and asking a question nicely, the attitude on the other end just made me finally cancel and now after waiting this long, I'll be looking for a new dermatologist. read more

Thomas Dermatology is the best ever in the Henderson and Lake Havasu offices. Dr Gonzalez is a caring and very attentive doctor and has the best assistant Ashley working with him. They listen and do everything they can to make sure you are taken care of. In Lake Havasu my husband had to have a MOHS surgery performed by Dr Call. Her work is exemplary and her surgical skills are amazing. If your looking for an excellent Dermatology office I would sincerely hope you give these doctors a try. read more

Avoid this place! I should have read all of these negative reviews before I scheduled my appointment, they're all true! I scheduled an appointment for today, March 3rd. I printed the new patient packet at home, made copies of my insurance cards, and arrived 20 min. early to my appointment. The receptionist took my information and then I headed to the waiting room. I should have walked out as soon as I saw that packet room. There were people literally trickling in at all times, it's as if they booked people for 5 min. appointments and tried to squeeze in as many as they could. After waiting in the lobby for almost an hour, I went to the receptionist to ask if there was an issue, she then tells me that there are 5 people ahead of me. Dr. Michaels had several surgeries that morning and he was running very behind schedule. She blatantly lied to me and others about the wait time because I had been sitting within hearing distance and she was telling all of the patients there were only 5 people in front of them. One gentlemen even asked her if they were running behind and if he should reschedule, the receptionist lied and told him the wait wasn't too long. Clearly they have no regard for your time and all they care about is cramming as many people in as they possibly can. If you want to be respected and don't want to waste hours in the waiting room, then FIND A DIFFERENT DERMATOLOGIST! read more

so I get this text message I got an appt at thomas derm. no location, just the name of the practice. I go on google, do a search & the office in henderson pops up. I make the lyft appointment to get there in time & pick up afterward to go home. about a 20 minute ride each way. when I check in, the girl ( brianna ) looked at her computer & said, "I'm sorry, your appointment is at our other office" I asked if there was any way they could squeeze me in as I am stuck here for over an hour. "no" she said, "we are really booked up today." I explained all they had to do was check me for ticks, but, no luck... as I sat there in the waiting room for my ride as people walked in & out until the waiting room was deserted & I still had 20 minutes to go before my ride showed up. I can't tell you how the dr's are as I never got to see them. as she was looking up my alleged appointment, I told brianna she was the 1st line of defense for what people think about this practice... I specifically scheduled this appointment early in the day so I had enough time to get ready for work after the appointment, but if they are running an hour behind at minimum, that doesn't give enough time. This Dermatology Office provides substandard care. They care more about providing aesthetic procedures rather than treating patients with actual medical and dermatological conditions. When you call them, no one answers and you are directed to leave a voicemail to which you will never get a call back even if you are having a dermatological crisis. I arrived 15 min early for my appt to be respectful of the office and other patients. This way I would be done with paperwork and payment before my appointment time. An hour after my appt time, I was still waiting. I could overhear a lot as I waited. Very rarely did the paperwork from the doctor about follow up match what the doctor told the patient. They turned ppl away due to their strict 15 minute grace period yet as a patient waiting in the hot waiting area, no one cares that they make you wait for a long time. The staff was all very nice. I didn't have any issues with the front desk, PA, or assistants. I would probably try a different office if your time is valuable to you. Very disappointed! I was looking forward to see PA -C Bri on 4/2/24 @8:30am after getting a DUPIXENT shot and self administered 2weeks later. But my condition has gotten worse. So I don't know if I'm allergic to it or something else. On the day of my appt was checked in. But when my name was called, a lady called from the front desk and telling me that I would not be able to be seen if I don't pay $100.00 which I don't have at that time. I had explained to her that I had previously spoken to the billing Dept that I can only pay $50.00 a month since I'm on fixed income, which I religiously paying at the HD Office. That lady stepped away and talked to someone in the billing. I got called in and again, she insisted that I need to pay first before I get seen. I got frustrated and told her that I needed to speak to PA Bri or who's in charge of the office. Because our conversation are not going anywhere, Another staff stepped in and she pulled me in to a room. She said that they are running a business that they need to collect payments. I had told her that I have been paying of what I promised to pay. She said that billing Dept person will come and talk to me. Nelson from Billing Dept came in the room and told me that they need to collect the $120.00 to be exact for my visit since I owed them $300 something. It's so obvious that they don't care about my illness and they worried about the money that they insisted to get that day. I ended up walking out from that office feeling humiliated. Is this how they treated their patients or is it because of race? I just hope they care more for their patient's well being than money. No services were received. They informed me they would not honor my insurance and wouldn't even submit a claim. They tried to get me to pay cash and even tried to bargaining the prices with me. I was maybe in the office 2 min after a 20 min drive and 20 min wait. When they could have told me over the phone that they would not honor my services. Received a bill for $173 months later. Outstanding dermatology practice! Dr Call recently did Mohs procedures on my husband and I. She was professional, caring and did phenomenal work during the procedures. She genuinely cared and took the time to make sure the effected areas were stitched to minimize scarring. Her assistants were wonderful! Abby was especially informative, professional and caring. Dr Lieberman is also outstanding and thorough.
