Decided to go with Dr. Cambeiro for gynecomastia surgery due to presence of tissue for several years that's been bothering me. Dr. Cambeiro was very informative concerning the overall surgery and did an excellent job with the procedure. Approximately 2.5 weeks post-op I did have an issue with overdoing a restricted movement (shoulder flexion) that caused a small opening of the incision site and Dr. Cambeiro was very good about addressing the issue and getting my overall recovery back on track. Currently 5 weeks post-op and the overall bilateral nipple regions look great! I was referred to this Dr by my mom. My appointment was schedule for 10:30am and not until 12pm I was called in for the consultation. I did not get desperate for waiting so long because I understand that he might be busy. First, when I was called by the front desk lady before going in, she said "what procedure are you doing?" And I have already told someone else that I wanted to do a consultation first to see what he would recommend to me, so for the second time I told her the same thing and she just told me without having the consult ok let me get the treatment ready for you- and I was like "didn't you hear me" So I went in finally he came and the first thing was - we have met before right? Which I answer with a NO and then he said "well like we discussed before we are going to do the fillers but is not going to work for your dark eyes so you might need surgery". Again- I was like "didn't you listen to me, that this is my FIRST time in your office". All this took him like 3-5 minutes and I am not lying, I didn't have time to ask anything because he was in a rush which I understand but come on I made an appointment for a consult which I didn't get. So he left and said ok I will bring the product, go to my other patient because she is wAiting for me (like I wasn't) and then come back. The consult was so QUICK that I DID NOT HAVE a chance to think about getting the treatment or not, which I knew I was not going to give my face to this doctor as soon as I noticed he was not listening to anything that I said. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cambeiro for breast augmentation. He was professional and answered my questions. His assistant was the biggest help. VERY HAPPY LADY! When asked "off the record" for her personal opinion she was absolutely straight forward and upfront. ABSOLUTELY appreciated beyond words. I am only giving this a 4 star due to my two previous experiences not related to Dr. Cambeiro himself. I called for Botox appointment and got right in due to a cancellation. I asked her if I could get line filler. She asked if I needed to be numbed first. I said yes. She said she didn't have time, it was her last appointment and needed to go home. Didn't look at my face to see if I needed it (I did) didn't discuss options, didn't ask if I wanted to reschedule... just wham bam out the door. The next Botox and filler appointment I requested to see the second nurse. 2-3 hours of her being unsure, nervous, unprepared, I was moved to 3 different rooms and needed 3 numbing's before I finally got out. She was so nervous I felt sorry for her at first but at the end I was more annoyed with her nervousness and feeling as if she was truly unsure of what to do left me unsure what to do next.
