I had to see Dr. Kenneth Fung for a follow-up appointment after laser eye surgery. I arrived about…read more20 minutes early, but the waiting room was already full. I ultimately had to wait approximately an hour before I was seen. When Dr. Fung came in, he examined my eye and told me that it appeared to be healing well. I then asked him about a concern I was having--seeing flashing lights when I look to the right. He told me that it was nothing to be concerned about. When I asked whether this was something I should be watching or concerned about, his response was delivered in what I felt was an annoyed and dismissive manner. I asked a few follow-up questions because I wanted to understand what I was experiencing and whether there were any warning signs I should be aware of. Unfortunately, my questions were met with the same irritated attitude. I was left with the impression that he was annoyed that I was asking questions at all. I cannot comment on whether Dr. Fung is an excellent or poor physician when it comes to the technical aspects of his work. However, I do believe that listening to and addressing a patient's concerns is an important part of providing good medical care. I was not impressed with Dr. Fung's bedside manner. Patients should feel comfortable asking questions about their health, particularly following eye surgery, and should feel that their concerns are being heard and taken seriously. In my experience, that was not the case during this visit.

I was incredibly fortunate to find Dr. Kenneth Fung. I was seen within 15 minutes of calling his…read moreoffice with an urgent concern on a Friday afternoon. Dr. Fung treated and explained my condition in detail, prognosis and lifestyle adjustments while healing. He even gave me information for a referral to a specialist in my area. His staff was friendly, professional and efficient, as well! I left Eye Associates NW with full confidence of recovery and an understanding of the next steps to ensure success in preserving my sight. Thank you so much!

The clinical skill and customer service at this practice are excellent. Shout-out to Taylor who…read moredoes an exceptional job on all fronts, making the exam to follow easy and efficient. Highly recommend this practice; very professional (which is not true at many other similar practices!)

WASHINGTON PACIFIC EYE ASSOCIATES @ KIRKLAND…read more Parking here can be a little difficult since it's mostly street parking. Just make sure you find a spot that allows two-hour parking rather than 30 minutes. I'd recommend parking on the left side near Jimmy John's or the Overlake Clinic, there's a good amount of street parking on both sides of the road in that area. I came in around 10 AM and the staff were extremely friendly. They asked about my day and how my morning was, which I really appreciated. I signed a couple of papers to get started and provided my insurance information, my mom is also on the insurance, so it was really nice that they already had a primary provider on file. I was quickly taken into a room and completed a few exams. I also received a free wellness exam since my mom is a current member, which was a huge plus. One thing I really liked about this place is that they don't do the air puff test that most eye doctors use. Usually there's a blue light you stare at and a puff of air that can irritate your eyes, so I was preparing myself for that. I was really happy they didn't do that here. Everything felt very subtle, comfortable, and smooth throughout the exam. The doctor was very kind and thorough. I did end up needing glasses, especially for long-distance driving, and the whole process of getting that figured out was quick and easy. I was able to choose my frames right after, and it was a very seamless experience. My total came out to around $100, and my insurance covered a large portion of it. My glasses should be ready within the next two weeks. Overall, I really loved this place. The staff are incredibly friendly, the process was easy, and the care was great. I would definitely recommend stopping by and I would absolutely come back again.
