Becky is the best dental hygienist ever! I've been driving from the land far away (Austin) to Cedar Park for YEARS. I gladly make this trek twice a year because linton has the best staff. I dislike people digging in my mouth as much as the next person, but Becky is super attentive to my teeth sensitivity and doesn't give me the usual flack for not flossing, but I know I should... I'm never upsold, never have to wait to be seen, and never have an issue with insurance billing. Happy to have found these guys and would recommend to any other college ager looking for a new dentist hime away from home. read more

I love the small, home-like feel of this office. The staff is super friendly and prompt. This is not the office to go if you want to watch TV during your visit, and they don't have the newest gadgets and the fanciest decor, but as I said, it is a comfy, home-like feel you can't get anywhere else. They do good work here, but the facility is about 10-15 out of date. The parking is horrible, popcorn ceilings. I think the Doc needs to take some of his profit and reinvest in his business read more

I'm more loyal to a dentist that most people are to their partners. Prior to moving to Austin 5 years ago, I had the same dentist for nearly 20 years. When I arrived in Austin and found myself with some dental issues 3 years ago, my family recommended Dr. Linton. Uninsured & without a regularly dentist I feared one of those horror stories where a dentist recommends all sorts of work. Not the case here! I was seen very quickly & the great staff fixed up my toothers! My next encounter with Dr. Linton was today. As it seems the tooth devil started haunting me this week, I called the office this morning begging for an appointment. They scheduled me to come in today at 1! A treatment plan was scheduled and again the staff was fantastic. My issues will be addressed in a timely manner, and now that I'm insured I plan on making these folks my regular dentist! Dr Linton has to be hands down the best dentist I have ever had by far. I had a wisdom tooth removed years ago and it was a nightmare, needless to say I feared any dentist. Not only did he take is time with all my concerns but he talked me through every step he was doing when I had to have a broken molar removed. He was very patient, and never rushed to get my tooth out he took his time and I felt almost nothing. I am very impressed with him and his staff and will never go anywhere else. My son and I have been going to Dr. Linton for about 10 years. He is awesome. My son loves coming to get his teeth cleaned and checked. His dental work lasts incredibly long. I have yet to need work redone. The staff is friendly and the dental hygienist are focused to get your teeth cleaned and polished. We usually have insurance but a year when we didn't, Dr. Linton made our visits affordable. We are very pleased and know you will too! read more

Having a deep seated fear of dentist due to bad experience I was assured by his assistant that he was very good and caring. And at first he was as long as I had insurance. He performed a root canal on one of my teeth and replaced a cap. The root canal has never quit hurting. I asked his assistant how long I could expect to be in pain and she shrugged so I left and hoped for the best. I contacted them later and asked if they would just take what the insurance would pay to extract the root canal tooth and the answer was no so I again waited. Then I lost my insurance. Now I cannot even chew because the pain in both of the mentioned teeth HURT to the touch. The failed root canal is HIS fault but he wants money to fix it. I am unemployed and again no insurance. I don't know what to do as I sit here in pain and tears. I am now even more fearful of dentist. Great job Dr. Linton. BTW, your parking does suck. read more

The staff is extremely nice and competent, answering all your questions and handling all of the insurance paperwork efficiently. My daughter loves going to the dentist here! This dentist is the rudest, most impatient dentist I've ever met. I took my 5-year old son to see him on his second visit to him. The first time was fine, although I had to step out of the office for a phone call, and when I went back in they were finished so I didn't get to see how my son was treated. I figured everything went ok. The second time we went, I was in the room with my son. My son was a little nervous about the injection for anesthetics, and immediately Dr. Linton basically threw up his arms and said he couldn't do it, was speaking very rudely to my son in front of me, and my son started crying. I was soooo incredibly shocked that I was speechless. Never in my life have met a dentist, or even anyone for that matter, so incredibly rude to a 5 -year old. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. He claims to be a family dentist, which he should not. He also doesn't treat his staff very well. What a pathetic person. I feel sorry for his staff. They also attempted to charge me for my son's dental deductible, claiming it hadn't been met. Well when I went to the next dentist, they told me that was incorrect and that I had met my deductible for the year already. Need I say more? And yes, I know there's a difference between "pediatric" and "family" dentist... but come on - if you don't have the patience for a child being a little hesitant, then don't put the word "family" in the title of your practice. read more

I had been taking my daughter to a pediatric dentist here in Cedar Park but I had not established myself as a patient anywhere since we had moved here. Since they only take care of children, I asked them if they could recommend someone who I could see. They recommended Dr. Linton and gave me his card. A couple months go by and being busy I still had not called to make a first appt. Then one day I had what I thought might possibly be a dental problem and I called them. I was a new patient and yet when I described the problem they managed to get me in later the same day! It turned out that his office was also very near my home, only took me 5 min to get there. The problem turned out to be something minor and nothing worrisome luckily, but I was so happy that they were able to get it checked out. After that I made an appointment for routine cleaning, etc. This was about 8 years ago or so and I have been a regular patient every since. His staff is always friendly and efficient. The office is quiet, relaxing and I am always in and out in no time. I highly recommend this office to anyone in search of good dental care. read more
