I've been going here since the early 2000s when they were located on Buttercup Creek. They've always been excellent and Laura is great!

Dr. Smith and the staff are amazing. You can't appreciate a good dentist until you have one. I will recommend buttercup dental to everyone!!

He did 4 Bioclear treaments on my teeth and they are beautiful, natural looking and so comfortable. The procedure wasnt short for 4 teeth but Emily kept me very comfortable and Dr. Tay is always concerned for my comfort in the chair. When refused their anesthetic required procedure they could not complete a normal cleaning even at my request. Do not bother going to them, unless you want to be strong, armed into something procedural that you do not agree to. This is not the dentist to go to if you'd like a normal cleaning. When I try to explain to him, the dentist that I had within the last year had a terrible allergic reaction to something in Crest 3-D toothpaste and that any chemical since then stings and it makes my mouth swell. He interrupted me and didn't listen and made zero eye contact, talking to me from behind me without being able to even see his face and introduce himself. I had no idea what this dentist even look like who was interrupting me when I was trying to give my dental history. I felt like this dental History was an important fact before prescribing anything to be put in my mouth. But no, this dentist who is extremely rude didn't introduce himself face-to-face did not make eye contact for a first time patient, just went into his procedural recitation of an invasive procedure involving chemicals, and analgesic, which I have also had allergic reactions too. In addition to him, the front desk girl was rude. When no, I did not have the paperwork filled out prior to my visit that's why I was there 15 minutes ahead of time. Sorry for the inconvenience of not having it filled out. But I had another emergency three days ago that this was not on my priority list. When I explained that emergency to her, she gruffly handed me an iPad to complete it without an empathetic. I'm so sorry for what you incurred three days ago that prevented you from filling out her paperwork. Empathy, care, listening, skills, body, language, eye contact, are not characteristics at this dental office. If you're looking for those type of characteristics look elsewhere.

58 yrs old and this is my 10th dentist ever. By far and away…read morethe best I've ever had, and I'm fairly particular about people who put sharp tools in my mouth. Their operations are excellent. Well organized, very skilled, and extremely kind. Their dental hygenists who do the cleaning are just excellent. Respectful, gentle, and yet thorough. And very kind. Dr. Bowcutt is just great, in skill and personally. He never wastes time or money on excess procedures, and yet knows how to prioritize most important treatments. He's kind, but candid about what is needed, and how the teeth are doing, ie, how my hygiene is working. Their scheduling is a breeze, and they get you in quickly if anything urgent comes up. They handle insurance flawlessly, and I found out they have a heart to help people in financial stress as well. These are the kind of dentists, the kind of people, our community can only hope to have.

All the hygienists that I have been met with upon each teeth cleaning appointment have been so pleasant, professional and friendly to work with as I have sometimes struggled with my mouth care, but they have always had kind words and patience and the fact that my neighbor referred me to them, and has been going to them for decades now is amazing and a testament to the loyalty and service that is impeccable when speaking on a local dentist that is less than a 5 min drive from our house! Dr. Bowcutt is also extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and when receiving any information from him, I always feel like he is extra helpful and valuable in giving me practical guidance and not upselling me on things. Which is amazing! I also recently referred my husband to pop over here after he had such severe mouth/jaw pain after Thanksgiving and had to go to urgent care and turns out he had a tooth abscess. He was able to get seen immediately and they were able to accommodate him as a new patient! That's unheard of! My husband's previous dentist he chose, Buttercup Dental, down the street (which we both got confused with for half the last year thinking we had been going to the same dental office ha!) didn't seem to care/ wasn't able to make the scheduling happen until later in the week. I also was able to get my fixed retainer rebonded, in and out, and at a practical price instead of having to go to an orthodontist who would've charged ridiculous prices. I'm honestly sold, and don't think I'll find any place better!! Ps. Sometimes you'll stumble upon Dr. Bowcutt's adorable dog! I can't even with the sweetest floof at the front desk! :)
