Looks like I may be grinding and have a little cavity starting. All done same day.

I've been in Texas for almost a year and I need to find a dentist. A visit to the dentist is usually never a pleasurable experience. But I found Perch Dentistry to be quite different. First of all talk about "Hi Tech"...WOW! 360 degree facial scanners, digital cameras that fit inside your mouth and digital X-rays. You are able to view your photos from your chair. Even watch your skeletal facial image rotate on the screen in front of you. Sit and enjoy Netflix on the wall and the ceiling during your treatment with noise canceling headphones. The staff is is extremely considerate, always checking up on you. You'll never feel like you're forgotten. Next day, I get a curtesy call checking up on me. Think I've found my next dentist.

Y'all this place is magical. I had a lot of dental and orthodontics work done on my teeth as a young child. Life happened, had kids and stopped taking care of my teeth. It was 8 years since I saw a dentist again and I was so nervous and anxious. The staff walking in was great! I was extremely comfortable and the office was beautiful. Dr. Patel was very very very personable and made me feel very comfortable. He was great in educating me with what was going on with my teeth and what procedures we would be doing. I had experiences before in offices where I felt like I was being gouged for money and this office I did not at all. The office has lots of upscale things too. I mean...Netflix while having dental work done was the best! My first deep cleaning wasn't bad at all and I'm so happy I went with the Perch team. I plan to go back for every cleaning.

The most beautiful new patient welcome gift!

I needed a deep cleaning after about 4 to 5 years of no dentist visits. I was really nervous. I went for my exam at Perch, and they were able to start my deep cleaning on one side that same day! They numbed me well, and I felt nothing the entire time. It was really clean, and beautiful! The staff were super Nice and professional! I highly recommend!!

    Beautiful rooms!

    Do you accept Medicaid?

Please call them at 512-337-3314. They will let you know. The staff is very nice.

    Do you accept dental insurance?

Hi Lindsey! Thank you for reaching out to us! We accept most PPO dental insurance plans. Please give us a call at 512-337-3314 at your earliest convenience so we can verify your coverage.

Is this a good dentist for children as well as adults?

No to all of the above. The wait times are unacceptable. It is a dental factory!

I've struggled with significant dental phobia for years, due to difficulty getting properly numbed, so going to the dentist has always been stressful for me. Dr. Rhodes approached my situation with true compassion and zero judgment, taking the time to listen to my concerns and clearly explain every step of the process. We decided on conscious sedation to replace two crowns, and it was an incredibly relieving experience. Although I was technically awake, I don't remember any of the procedure at all--which was exactly what I needed. The entire process was managed smoothly and professionally from beginning to end. I felt safe, supported, and confident in the quality of care I was receiving. If you have dental anxiety or have avoided treatment out of fear, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Rhodes and Vista Dental. Their combination of skill, empathy, and patient-centered care truly makes all the difference.

When you are in his chair, he treats you as if he was treating his mother. He is understanding about my anxiousness, he explains everything in detail as he is doing a procedure. Dr. Good continues to check in about how you are doing during the appointment. He always presents the option that will benefit you the most...he helps you watch your purse strings. Dr. Good also gets to know you and is always asking about the last thing you talked about. He has a great personality so that helps the time fly by during your visit. The entire staff is amazing!! After the exam, I was informed that I needed several cavities addressed. That part wasn't surprising. What was surprising was the financial process that followed. The conversation felt less like a healthcare discussion and more like sitting across from a finance manager at a car dealership--focused heavily on cost breakdowns and payment structure rather than care. The most concerning part: I was told I needed to pay a $100 deposit just to schedule the procedure. While I understand deposits in certain contexts, this felt out of place in a healthcare setting. Patients are already committing to treatment and cost--adding a pay-to-book requirement creates an unnecessary barrier and, frankly, erodes trust. Yes, the deposit is applied toward the final bill, but that doesn't change the principle. Patients shouldn't feel like they're paying for access to care. Healthcare--especially dentistry--relies on trust, transparency, and patient-first thinking. This experience leaned too far in the direction of financial policy over patient care. If you're exploring dental providers, I'd encourage you to ask upfront about payment practices and find an office whose approach aligns with your expectations. There are plenty of great providers out there who prioritize patient experience alongside clinical care. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of them.

I had to remind them, every time I went in for both. They put a crown on one of my front teeth that never matched the color of the other teeth. I would comment on this at each cleaning, and their solution was just to put some polish on it that did nothing. I had a cavity filled back in April, and at my last cleaning they had said it had grown back and would need to retreat. I don't have fancy dental insurance. I am a stay at home mom taking care of my special needs child daily. I had written the time wrong on my calendar for my cleaning back in September. (I was an hour later off) They do send out an email reminder, days before the appointment. I had a sitter that day, but a lot going on at home with my sons therapy. They are literally 10 min drive from my home. They could have easily called when I didn't show. Instead they waited 45 minutes, and would not let me make appointment. I was rescheduled out to December! At my last cleaning, they claimed to have done a deep cleaning and charged me $75 extra, even though it felt like a regular cleaning to me. (and w/o telling me b/f it would be a deep cleaning. )As well as another $60 for missing my previous appointment. There are far and many other dentists out here, I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND these GREEDY UNCARING RIP OFFS!!!!!!

I'm super unhappy with Wired Orthodontics for a couple of reasons…read more 1) They encouraged me to do my Invisalign treatment through an app. I did, and I hate it. My husband is a dentist and he helps me do the scans, and it is an app run by AI, no personal messages, no one actually checks with you. I'm halfway through my treatment and the Invisalign has rubbed off some bonding I had on my teeth. I started treatment in July of 2023 and have not had a call from a real person since. 2) The way they bill. I paid in full for my treatment in July, then when I got laid off at the end of October the app company Smile Doctors is hounding me for money. My insurance told me they had been billing monthly instead of submitting a claim for the full amount I paid in July. My dentist husband told me this is because they are a chain and don't know if the provider will be there long, so that's how they try to ensure possible different providers get paid (which is why he will never work for a chain). So, now that I've lost my job suddenly I owe money for something I paid in full for? I'm working with my insurance to have them submit the claim correctly because they agree I should not be responsible. I would never go to a dentist chain and I've learned the hard way that I should have done my due diligence in this case as well. Please find a private orthodontist business for your treatment. These chains are less than the best, and I believe we all deserve the best treatment possible.
