While we were being turned away, there was a family at the bar with their children sitting on the bar, while the father was standing there shirtless and shoeless. So apparently being barefoot is a problem depending on who is asking for service? You're in a prime beachfront location with people naturally walking up from the sand. Maybe a little common sense and consistency with how the policy is enforced would go a long way. We were ready to spend money, instead we walked away and took our business elsewhere. As the night went on, the inside quickly turned into more of a party atmosphere, which may be a vibe for some people. The couches are super comfy, the hookah service is great (they change the charcoal without you even asking), and free parking is a huge plus. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the night even better. The only downsides are that you really need to make a reservation ahead of time for weekends, otherwise you might end up stuck at the bar or in a less atmospheric spot. Also, there are only two gender-neutral restrooms, so there can be a bit of a wait.

Being that I am a quality assurance manager for a large company I felt I had to acknowledged her professionalism. I had to tell her how impressive she was!
