This is a great snack bar located outside Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom. It serves a healthy alternative to your traditional theme park food options along with the junk you crave. Everything is priced reasonably under $10. They offer sandwiches, edamame and ice cream. After riding Everest we came here and grabbed their frozen lemonade and frozen orangeade cups made by Minute Maid. For $3.99 this was a steal and delicious! Perfect for a hot summer afternoon.

Barcelona Lounge did not disappoint. The vibe was vibrant, energetic and colorful like the city. The brilliant stained-glass wall behind the bar was spectacular. Located on the lower lobby level of the Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Barcelona Lounge has amazing lake views of Lago Dorado from its patio bar. Overhead was a magnificent chandelier framed by sculpted columns which brought to mind a glistening Spanish sunrise or sunset. Whenever visiting Coronado Springs I think we will be eating breakfast at Rix from here on out instead of the food court. There was no wait to get in, in the morning. Their omelet and avocado toast were pretty good (though the omelet was not as warm as I would've hoped) and I appreciated being able to substitute the potatoes for fresh fruit. Overall for the price this is an excellent choice if you want food that isn't greasy like the quick service breakfast and want to avoid potato barrel overload.

I made this mistake when my husband wanted to come here for dinner and I looked it up and it said 2pm which he thought was odd for a sports bar as all the games are in the evening so we ended up going to Maya's which was great. I looked up Rix again and realized there were two of them and I had looked at the Cafe hours and not the bar and grill hours. We had our first breakfast here. We got up around 8 and had a leisurely breakfast around 9am. Plenty of time before they closed at 10:30am. For table service they were really quick. The waitress was really. Nice and was on the ball. She got us seated, waters to us and our orders taken. Our food came out quick too. I was really impressed with the service. I had the Rix Omelet, with herb butter potatoes and cheddar biscuit. I was so full that I didn't get to try the biscuit. I would order it again. My husband got the Floridian French Toast. He really enjoyed it. I loved the fruit on it. It cut down on the surgery contents. As for eating here again. If we make another trip to Disney World I may eat here again. It was great, so don't get me wrong, but we have table service for all of our dinners and 2 out of the 4 lunches so we really didn't need another table service meal to carry us though out the day. It was perfect for us on the first day when we ate at 9am and got to the park at around 11am and then didn't eat till dinner time as we were so full from breakfast. I do reccomend Rix Sports Bar and Grill. It was delightful. The food was great, the service was impeccable, the ambiance was that of a Sports Bar and not a DIsney World/Theme park which was good. We wanted the feel of a nice peaceful restaurant before we hit the busy park. I feel the crowed was mostly convention center guests. No kids were there when we were there. It fit our needs perfectly.

I usually pick either a specialty beer or make a cocktail with the liquors they have. My wife usually chooses the specialty drinks. We have always enjoyed the drinks at this bar. Some of their drinks are pre batch made but for batch-made drinks, they are not terrible and still pack a nice little punch. Depending on what drink you order, they may lower the lights, turn on the volcano and start chanting. I'll be honest, as an introvert, this wasn't my jam the first time I visited, because we were seated at the bar and the bartenders chose me for one of the acts. But the last two times, we were seated at a table in the very back and I love to watch from my dark corner. My husband ordered a zombie and our waitress did a hilarious zombie act as she brought it over to him. It's just so fun. I ordered a pineapple drink that featured Dole Whip and I didn't love it because the consistency was reminiscent of a Slurpee rather than Dole Whip. I feel like drinks are a little hit or miss and some are strong AF so know what you're getting into. Other things to keep in mind: if there's just two of you and you're not sitting at the bar, you will share a table. I don't love this but it is what it is. One time the couple we were seated with was cool but this last time, I made the mistake of making a light political comment that was meant with stony silence... my bad, but I don't need to think about putting my foot in my mouth if I'm not seated with strangers. All good, though, because for half the time we had our four-top to ourselves. This place is great for groups if you're willing to wait. Use the My Disney Exp app to put your name on the waitlist.

Their vibe is dark, nautical, it matches the resorts. Everything is navy blue, its pretty dark inside, but they do have a few TVs. We also stop here when we like to do the Yacht and Beach crawl. If you are not staying here you will need to figure out a different way to access the resort. They offer a small selection of food, mostly which are appetizers, but there are a couple of items you could order as a meal. Last time we were here we did see a few people order food to go probably back to their room. Something my wife and I always have to order is the Parker House Rolls and Spreads which has three spreads and 5 rolls. The spreads include Bacon Jam, Pub Cheese, and Citrus Butter. These are so good and actually one time we stayed we ordered these every single night, they are that good. The spreads are great on their own but even better when you mix them. I would prefer the rolls to be hot but they are still great. We also ordered the Truffle Fries served with with Roasted Shallot Mayo and the meatballs which has a porcini and parmesan cream sauce, pickled mushrooms, and chive oil. Both are really delicious and easy to share or even have both as your meal. The last thing we ordered was the flatbread. They have a seasonal flatbread which was French onion soup but we found out they also offer just a pepperoni flatbread which is not on the menu. This was a great flatbread, really cheesy, great flavor, not too heavy on the pepperoni but really good overall. For drinks I really prefer to get order off the menu and get either a dirty martini or a Manhattan. They have a full bar and can do most drinks. My wife loves their wine particularly the Dr. Loosen, Dr. L. Riesling which she finds around Disney. She also enjoys a good lemon drop martini. Overall this is a great stop, it is one of my favorite lounges. It is comfy, dark, not super loud, they have great food options and great drinks. I would say stop by when you can and check it out! On our last visit and actually every visit, my husband and I have to get the Parker House Rolls and Spreads which has three and includes the Bacon Jam, Pub Cheese, and Citrus Butter. These also come with 5 rolls. This is such a great snack, starter, whatever you want to call it. They are so good, the spreads are each delicious on their own but even better when you pair them together. My only thing would be the spreads should be not as cold, they are hard to spread on the rolls since they are cold and the rolls are also not warm. But it is minor. We also enjoy the Truffle Fries served with with Roasted Shallot Mayo. These are a good snack, very truffle heavy but still very good. If you are looking for something more substantial then I would recommend the Seasonal Market Flatbread which will vary. But what they also dont tell you if that they have a pepperoni flatbread not listed on the menu. We ordered the pepperoni last time and it was hot, crispy, had a great cheese pull and was really good. Solid flatbread. We also ordered the meatballs which has a porcini and parmesan cream sauce, pickled mushrooms, and chive oil. These were fantastic meatballs. I really enjoyed them. It had great flavor, and came with 4 meatballs. They also serve other food items such as a burger, wings and salads. The food is great. For drinks I really prefer to get what I love which is a lemon drop martini. I also enjoy some of the wines they offer. If you want a specialty cocktail then I would recommend the Seaworthy Breeze Absolut Vodka with Grapefruit and Cranberry Juices. It was a nice cocktail, not super sweet, but more on the tart side. Overall this is a great stop. We really enjoy sitting here an relaxing with some appetizers and cocktails. You can make a meal out of the food as well if you want. She loves the strawberry hibiscus soda, which is non-alcoholic, and adds Tito's to it and make it a cocktail and will always do a double for around $3-4 more! For food we always go for the large pretzel with cheese and mustard. Its a great price, really large, served warm, its soft and salty and served with cheese and mustard. You can ask for a second cup of either for no additional cost. In the last year, they have changed their charcuterie board and I personally prefer the previous version but this one is also really good. It now comes with Point Reyes Original Blue Cheese, Mt Tam Brie, Midnight Moon Goat Cheese, Sopressata Salami, Sliced Bresaola, Blueberry Compote, Onion Jam, and Bread and Butter Pickles with Lavash. Their last food item is the "Avenue Chips" which is House-made Ranch Kettle Chips served with Beer Cheese Fondue.
