Loooooooove the taro smoothie with almond milk ! Yummmm ! I highly suggest it. They also have a rewards program you should get on if you're a bubble tea fan:] read more

Love this bubble tea shop! Everything I have had has been excellent and the staff has always been nice. They provide board games and even have little snacks to purchase. Not a lot of bubble tea places around and this is by far the best outside of maybe going to Atlanta. read more

Decent boba. A bit expensive but its understandable considering that its the best boba you can get in the city. The menu is pretty overwhelming, so my strategy was to just look at the pictures on the advertisement screen and go for whatever looks good. read more

I like to frequent this little hole in the wall to get Vietnamese coffee they have many other things such as smoothies, teas, bubble tea, all well priced. The staff is always friendly and service is quick. read more

This place is the only place in town I know that serves decent boba. And I like how you can chill with friends and play board games while you drink your favorite milk or fruit tea. It's far from downtown but worth the drive. read more

After trying boba at KCON I was hooked, so when I saw we had a bubble tea place nearby I was excited. It took me close to a year to convince my sister we should go try something there and we absolutely love it. Not only is there regular boba but they have fruit popping boba and other jellies. There's so many choices, the people are friendly, and the atmosphere is great. read more

I came here on my recent trip to visit relatives and I was craving boba (from southern California where boba is popular) and I was thoroughly satisfied when I found out that there was boba in the general area. Thirstea has a wide variety of options and the quality even surpasses most of the drinks back home. I came here at like 4 times on my month trip and I even lugged around my siblings as well to enjoy a taste of home. This place is legit. The options are great and the drinks are made fresh. My go-tos are Milk tea and Avocado. read more

Really nice, open space with tons of board games to keep yourself entertained. I got the Matcha Milk Tea with Boba and flan - absolutely delish! read more

My 11-year-old daughter's favorite place to go for an after-school treat. She always gets the popping boba no matter what flavor smoothie she gets. I'm a traditional boba kind of girl. I LOVE the Thai milk tea both hot and cold, but have had very little to complain about no matter what I get. I can't wait to try the custom grilled cheese sandwiches. There are literally hundreds of combinations to make a meal here between the grilled cheese choices and the drink choices. Throw in the games they keep on hand, and you have an enjoyable way to spend some bonding time. read more

I love this place! It's so consistent and the boba is cooked to perfection! I always get the almond bubble tea and my husband gets the coconut bubble tea. They also have board games you can play while you're there. read more

This is a cool place to hang out. It's like a new age coffee house with board games! The Vietnamese coffee is the shizz!!!

This cafe is THE place to go in Birmingham! I think it's the only Boba Tea Cafe and it does not disappoint at all. The Boba is well made to perfection and there are so many flavors to choose from! You can get milk tea, fruit tea, smoothies, yogurt drinks and slushies! They also have different types of boba, not just the typical black tapioca balls! Also they have board games to play which is so fun to do while drinking boba! If you have never tried Boba you are really missing out in life, please go to Thirstea just for your own sake! You won't regret it! Such an amazing cafe and such delicious boba! I could go on forever but everyone please make a stop by this place!! read more

Great bubble teas! They have so many options to choose from and are delicious! Favorite bubble tea place in town

Definitely the best boba in bham! They have so much variety that's fun to try but also good for a classic milk tea!

I kind of have high standards since I'm from CA where boba is everywhere, but I thought this place was just average. I got the watermelon tea, and while the aloe was 4/5, the tea tasted artificially flavored. I love fresh watermelon juice/tea, so I was disappointed. My boyfriend got lychee tea, which I also thought was average, but it did have real lychee bits in it!!:) read more

Great Thai Boba (very fresh boba), yummy mixed berry yogurt drink and fabulous Vietnamese coffee with milk. Worth the stop!

This is honestly one of the best places I've ever been. They have such a variety of drinks. They have great snacks like grilled cheese but my personal favorite are the poke bowls! Hands down one of the best combos! Personal favorite drink is the mango smoothie with boba. Favorite food is chicken poke bowl with eel sauce and spicy mayo! 12/10 recommended! read more

Love bubble tea! So glad this place is close to my house! My only 2 critiques are that napkins need to be available because I've spilled a little on myself three times now. With all employees in the back, you have to go up to the counter so they'll notice you on the camera. They recently stopped offering the frequent visitor card. Wouldn't you want to reward your best customers and encourage them to come more and bring friends/family? This would definitely help spread the word in an area where most people have never heard of bubble tea. read more

After having bubble tea on the west coast I set out to find some in Birmingham! Even though this spot was a little out of the way from downtown, it was worth the drive. The store was clean and organized with bright colors and the front employee was friendly and provided recommendations. I got the Thai milk tea and grilled cheese on sour dough with turkey. The tea was refreshing and the sandwich was great! read more

Cool place with tons of milk tea. But it will be better if they can sell some snacks like Asian style fried chicken.

Taste: 5/5. The drink was very refreshing and real fruits were added into it. I personally would like it a little bit sweeter but it didn't matter because the taste of fresh fruit makes up for it. Cleanliness: 5/5. Although I couldn't see their process of making the drink, the place is very clean. Environment: 4/5. The lights decoration are colorful and attractive to people outside. However, I could tell that this place is still new and unfinished; it needs some improvements inside to fill up the emptiness such as the wall. Service: 5/5. I only get to talk to one of the staff there, Ashley. But she was nice enough to take my orders multiple times when I came back at 11 pm. Price: 5/5. The price is really low for their quality drinks. They will have to build enough customers to maintain this place, but the low price and great taste will make them want to come back. read more

I love this little place. The drinks are delicious and it's a really fun environment. They have tons of board games to play while you hang out. I brought my sisters here after dinner one night and we ended up staying for a few hours because we were having such a good time. This is a great place to hang out if you aren't into the bar scene (or are too young). It's family friendly but without being too childish. read more

I came to ThirsTea with some friends for a celebratory tea and had a great experience overall. When I walked in, I was a little unsure because it wasn't overly decorated and kind of had a hipster vibe. I opted for a passionfruit slushie instead of a tea and was not disappointed. It was very sweet, but it suited my taste buds perfectly. My friends got a variety of boba teas from the taro to the coconut and liked them. I loved that they had board games to play while you enjoy your beverage and we sat around playing Apples to Apples and laughing. All in all it was a great time! read more

Great variety of options that you can't get elsewhere in Birmingham. I was especially excited to see they have Taro. Very nice staff and the drinks are yummy. I can't wait to try the other flavors. read more

When Koko Bubble Tea in the Galleria, closed up shop last year, I thought I'd go crazy. Where was I supposed to get my fix for green tea smoothies?? I was an unfulfilled soul for months, my taste buds were lifeless, my metaphysical light on the dimmest setting. (sigh) What was a girl with unrequited cravings to do? Then, like a beacon of hope from above, my sister texted me these simple words, "You HAVE to go to Thirstea's in Inverness". I could feel the excitement coursing through me, my mouth watering at the possibilities. Could this be the one? Oh My God! It was fantastic! Even better than I expected. The sweet and beautiful green of the Honeydew; the tart vivaciousness of the Mango! Hallelujah hallelujah! Then I discovered popping pearls, tiny little gems of deliciousness, that when added to my green tea smoothies, transported me straight to Nirvana. Each small pearl is a powerhouse of sweet, kiwi flavored ambrosia that tickles your tongue in a way that can only be described as cosmic. Thank you, Thirstea House, for bringing joy back into my afternoon. I'll see you again soon...very soon. P.S. The only thing as awesome as their green tea smoothies, is the staff, who all have hearts as sweet as their tea. Love you guys! read more

First time here and I ordered a Vietnamese coffee with boba. Asked them to put less sugar because I love my coffee strong. It was the first time I'd had coffee with boba (at the cashiers suggestion) and I will definitely be making that my regular choice, although everything on the menu looked amazing. Will be back as soon as I can!! read more

Amazing!! I got a pomegranate tea with pomegranate boba, and it was the best tea I've ever had. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area. read more

I really loved this place! This was my first time having bubble tea, and it was wonderful. I ordered a peppermint milk tea, and my boyfriend ordered a blueberry yogurt drink. We both had boba in it of course, that's why we were there. The atmosphere is really chill. There were two dudes playing connect four, two mothers with their adorable kids (Not the screaming kind. They were just chillin'), me and my boyfriend, and two businessmen. The place is really small, but that's okay. I will definitely be coming back here. I can't wait to try more flavors of boba tea! :D read more

This place is top notch! The drinks and add-ons are always made fresh. I haven't gotten anything here that I don't like. Their menu is quite extensive so I haven't tried everything yet but I always go for a cold milk tea with boba and egg pudding. The milk tea is great hot too! The owners are super friendly and make everyone feel like a valued customer. Everyone should definitely check this place out. I'm glad Bham finally has a legit tea place like this now. I won't have to drive to Atlanta.. Unfortunately we are moving to California this week so I wish this business all the best! read more

YEA!!!!! Bubble Tea has finally come to Birmingham!! Everyone should try this place out. They offer multiple flavors and types of drinks and "bubbles." My fav is the boca bubbles!! read more

Imagine you are in NYC and all the surrounding and the hustle and bustle of the city is around a cafe, that is Thirstea Cafe! It's in the heart of 280, a small and personal cafe! 4 stars cause it is small, I wish it was a bit bigger, but the smoothies is what people go there for! Oh and get the jellies! Do yourself that favor! read more

they are extremely rude to all of their customers. they take forever to make their teas and it's not even that good. do not recommend.

I love everything on the menu! The owners are very professional and kind. Wait time is always good and the store is pretty. Love Thirstea and go there every week! read more

This California girl could not have been more excited to hear about a bubble tea place in Birmingham - too bad it's not closer to downtown (hint hint). I am boring when it comes to bubble tea and usually order the black milk tea. The tea tasted fresh and it wasn't too sweet. They even deliver the tea to your table so you don't have to stand and wait for it. It's a great place to just hang out and talk or play board games for a while. Those faces on the lids were also super cute! read more

I love this place, and I love that they use real fruit. I'm sad they did away with the punch cards but I wholeheartedly recommend this place. read more

Kind, appreciative, and quick service. Great selection of drinks and add-in options. Very tasty. I also get the black teas with boba. The boba is perfectly cooked but if it were slightly sweeter it would be the best boba and black tea combo I've had at one shop! read more

Had a great time at this place. Lot of options to choose and i loved my Taro Milk Tea. Will sure come back.

It's one of the best in Birmingham that I have tried. Really good and consistent quality.

Just moved to Bham and I'm a boba addict, so I needed a good boba spot. This place has pretty good milk tea and boba! So far, I've tried the thai tea and the matcha tea. read more

Love this place. Only wished they had one closer to where we live. They have so many wonderful teas and drinks available. And every time I visit they are friendly and have boba cooked and ready for my tea. read more
