After some discussion, the employees (who were very nice) called the owner for some guidance. The owner told the employees that he cancelled the contract and is not accepting the gift certificates. What? That's fine....but don't you need to honor the ones you ALREADY SOLD??? Huge scam to get customers inside and then bait and switch! No, thank you. We will head on over to Farm Bowls instead. Would I recommend it? Certainly not. There are plenty of options in Birmingham, no need to go to a store that tries to scam the customers as soon as they open! On a side note, SO noted in the car later that the bananas were pre-peeled and sat in a container on the counter looking brown and gross, so not super appetizing!

The super nice young lady at the cash register and the other lady working welcomed me with smiles. I read through the menu and placed my order for a Metabolism Booster smoothie. She asked which flavor, and while all of them sounded great, I chose the Dark Chocolate Banana (because CHOCOLATE). It did not take long for them to make my 32 ounce smoothie. Yes it was $11.49 including tax, but to me, it was worth it. The smoothie was refreshing and kept me satisfied for several hours. The menu is intimidating, but the people behind the counter will help you choose the best smoothie for what you want or need. Check them out!
