We came to Humble Backyard around 6:30 PM with friends visiting from out of town to watch the U of…read moreH vs. Texas Tech game and the Astros game. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like a sports bar. The music was blaring so loudly it felt more like a nightclub -- you couldn't enjoy the game, and you couldn't even have a conversation at the table.Several guests asked the manager on duty to turn the volume down so people could actually watch the games, and he refused, saying people were "paying to listen to the jukebox."It's disappointing to have a neighborhood spot that use to be a great place to watch sports but doesn't prioritize the actual sports experience. We won't be back for games. So much for having a cool sports bar nearby.

It was shipped frozen and I can only guess they tried to warm it up in a microwave. Honestly, after a few bites I wrapped the remainder of the mystery meat in a napkin so I could avoid direct contact with it. Originally, I was thinking I could give it to my dog. However as a I looked at it inder a better light, I was concerned feeding it to my dog might be the basis for a felony animal abuse case against me.

Sean, Kat and the team remembers your order and have great customer service. The menu here is vast and good, we had Caitlin explain the menu one day and what a well rounded and thought out pub menu. The food here is solid and most importantly is the vibe. The guests are amicable and seem down to earth, it's pleasant to visit each time. They have fantastic wings and an IPA that resonates to all IPA drinkers, I can say, I have drunk many different ones to count (lived in SOCAL for some time) and attended many BeerFests. They have more than 30+ televisions and show mostly sports and some other programs. They also feature a jukebox, darts, a cigarette vending machine, video golf, and other digital bar games that require a tablet to play. This is a neighborhood establishment that values thier guests and shows it.

I'm sorry I really wouldn't recommend this place. Unless you don't mind standing all night and listening to live music and then when the singer gets a break, the DJ plays his music. I'm more into the DJ playing his music because he was playing some hits. I ordered a blue daiquiri with a shot of vodka and the daiquiri was super strong and I wasn't expecting that but that's a good thing I suppose so you'll get your moneys worth when it comes to the drinks . They do serve food, which I wasn't able to order this time. The crowd is mixed. You have the bougies and the ghettos. The ghettos that dance and hold your chair smh, I had to move my chair and the girl came and leaned on my chair again. I really wasn't feeling the crowd to be honest.

The menu is huge and has plenty of options for any diet; I'm a vegetarian and found a lot of fried foods that were all delicious. The friend green tomatoes, cheese curds and corn nuggets were outstanding, sooo good. All in all, amazing service, great food and drinks for super cheap prices but a VERY gritty, country atmosphere
