Amazing smash burgers and their seasonal drink "Ginger LimeADE" is so good if you love a good ginger drink!!!

Love this place. So simple, so good. They only have 3 burgers on the menu (and maybe one chicken sandwich?), which is how you know it's a good classic neighborhood place. Each burger is slightly different but all pretty greasy. So if you're not into greasy burgers the this place is probably not for you. But they are smash burgers, so they're very easy to eat and despite the grease don't feel toooo heavy. The place is pretty small with only 3 indoor tables and a small countertop space, and they're usually pretty busy so sometimes it can be hard to get a seat. But usually while waiting for your burger a seat opens up

Enjoyed this popular burger joint of RI. The CNY Salty Potatoes are golden Yukon potatoes with chives and sour cream. They were great including the dream burger which I could've had two of. Looking forward to trying the TT Bird crispy chicken sandwich next time. The menu is very small and semi-pricey. The restaurant is small with outdoor seating. Liked the esthetic of the sticker table art and the decorative bathroom. The nearby ice cream shop is the perfect combo to this place, just to give you a heads up

While walking around Providence (around Fed Hill) looking for a place to eat (many spots were closed), we stumbled upon There There, which tucked away in a nondescript building, a few blocks away in West End. Inside, the place smells incredible, so we knew we came to the right place. This spot is simple and low-key, but they do one thing really well: smash burgers. Each smashburger comes with two thin patties, making it the perfect size and easy to eat without a mess. The patties are soo juicy and well-seasoned, and encased in soft, squishy buns. And when they say sesame bun, they really mean SESAME ALL OVER THE BUN. We decided to stick with smashburgers and ordered the Dream Burger and the Oklahoma Burger. They also serve fried chicken sandwich (TT Bird), vegetarian options (Kale Roll and Filet O' Chz), and a hot dog (Wurst Dawg). You can also opt for no bun for an extra charge (over lettuce, potatoes, or steak fries). Their secret menu is pretty small, mostly focused on specialty drinks, as there was only one special burger. We also got the Chili Burger (from their secret menu) and Steak Fries. Counter service was quick and friendly, but the place got packed quickly. There was a line out the door by the time we finished ordering. I loved my Dream Burger!! I really enjoyed the onion jam and the flavorful sauces and lots of shrettuce. Two patties definitely made a difference. Despite how thin and simple their burgers are, it still fills you up. The Oklahoma Burger was also a good choice. I think I would get this next time because it's a step up from the classic Smashburger with the sweet mustard and pickles combo. Compared to the smashburgers, which are mess-free and easy to hold in the hands, the Chili Burger is much messier. But tasty, nevertheless. As for sides, the steak fries are thick cut and well-prepared, though I wasn't in a fries mood that day. Seating is a bit tight, but there are plenty of options: communal high-top tables, booths, and even outdoor porch seating. They have water and bathrooms available, too.

Fun spot, though tight seating if you can't get a booth. Porch seating with counters outside and a community table with hightops inside, in addition to the booths. Easy ordering over the counter. Friendly staff. Burgers: Very similar configuration in the two burgers, both with double patties, Martin's Big Marty sesame seed buns, plenty of pickles and lettuce, and some form of onions. Tried both. Similar in the burger results: very fresh bun, generally pleasing but with dominant sour/pickle flavor throughout, and the beef got lost among the bun, toppings and condiments. Even with two patties, you could barely notice they were there. Steak fries: Simple yet effective. Coffee Milk: Oddly iced, but very intense and enjoyable coffee flavor.

Rating: 4.3 I've came to this place few times but experience is always good. It's a local burger shop that offers mainly burgers and sides. It does require street parking and there are out door seating as well. Inside is pretty small but offers few seatings. You can order at the counter upfront and choose to eat there or take it to go. I've ordered few things from here before but I tried their new menus which were fillet o chez, salt potato sides, and the classic dream burger. Fillet o chez was interesting as it was basically a take on fillet o fish but with cheese instead. Fried cheese made it feel like more elevated grilled cheese. It was good but feels like would have tasted better with some sauce. Salt potato sides were ok. Buttery salty flavored boiled potatoes with some scallions. Sort of an elevated potato with butter. Dream burger was good as usual. Juicy burger with some onions jams and lettuce with cheese. I did notice after I ordered that there were specials but too late hope to try next time. Overall the place is pretty good and one of best burger place around RI area. It's also nice to see some changing menu here and there. I did like their hot dog so I was a bit sad that it was gone. Anyhow I would come back again if I crave burgers.

I rarely order burgers in restaurants because I am typically underwhelmed. I had the opposite experience at There There. I tried a burger special and was really impressed by how soft and squishy the bun was yet did a great job holding the burger together. The burger patties were juicy and all of the toppings were perfectly portioned and delicious. My burger game with jus for dipping on the side and it was so good it didn't even need it (but it was also really good with the jus). I also got the salt potatoes and they were tasty. The space is small and I could see seating being a challenge during busy times but overall it was a totally worth it and I would definitely recommend it.

We went to this place for lunch on a rainy Sunday. You could drive right past it because it's in the middle of the neighborhood, but it's such an adorable place on the outside and inside. We waited in line to order and we're one of the first people there. After we sat, it got packed with people sitting at all the tables and the bar. I couldn't decide between the dream burger and the kale roll so we split both. I love the burger, but that kale roll was one of the most phenomenal sandwiches I've ever had. The meat and the burgers was great, and the bun was just perfect. My other friend got the Oklahoma burger and said it was delicious. They have a beer, selection and wine, soda, and other local NA beverages. I'm so glad that we made it to this place as the service was great, the ambience was too, and the food was phenomenal.

My husband googled best burgers near me. I'm so glad we found There There. The people are friendly and helpful. It's a casual place with outdoor and indoor seating. We were lucky to find 2 seats at the counter with a view of the guys whipping up the food. We had the CNY Salt Potatoes, Pickle Plate, Dream Burger, and TT Bird fried chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious! I definitely recommend There There!!

Quick birthday visit to Providence and we found a gem! Service was great. Everyone was super nice. But the food..... DELISH! We shared the Cobb Salad with chicken and bacon and a burger and fries!!! Topped them off with a beer and a wine. Great birthday lunch! Thanks!

This place got more delicious then I remembered. Last time I came was a year ago, and with a gift card this year and the nice weather shaping up, I decided to grab a burger! I got some CNY salty fries and a TT Bird which is friend chicken sandwich. The fries were absolutely delicious with lots of flavor giving a cheesy creamy taste without actual cheese (I didn't notice the cheese at least). It was so warm and homey~ the fried chicken amazing with not too much muscle and mostly savory soft meat and crispy ends~ the menu this year has changed and I'm amazed by the flavors introduced. My partner had the fried cheese sandwich which was so good! I only had a bite, but it was cheesy and crunchy ~ The fuzz lemonade was ok~ I do prefer the coffee milk they serve. Today was a busy day because I wasn't the only one thinking of this nice weather to have a burger. I noticed seats have changed and as ask ways, it's first come first serve in seats/ tables. Food was prompt and staff was friendly~ great job in cleanliness because I noticed staff. Leaning tables whenever people finished their meals and took off~ I truly enjoy my meal here every time!

The weekdays are easier to get a table or bar seat. I love all the burgers, wings, hot dogs and shakes (Boozy or regular). Cons: I basically love everything on the menu EXCEPT the crinkle fries and the taco salad. (The crinkle fires I never liked but I am starting to see them more in some bars. They seem to not as crunchy as the regular fries and hold more grease including being more mushy then crunchy as mentioned before. The taco is like a Salsa salad which greens and Salsa. The taste is not bad but it becomes a wet salad). Pros: Everything else on the menu fantastic! My favorites: Turkey burger , mushroom burger, providence burger bar special, chili cheese hot dog, fried Mac and cheese, Strawberry Shake with a frozen fruit INCLUDING the Garlic Parmesan Buffalo wings. The only place I know can do hot dogs this great besides wieners from Olneyville and Babbas! Service: Incredible and friendly service. RI food fights brought me in and you don't get access to the whole sandwich menu here, unfortunately you have to pick between their "Mushroom Bahn MI" and their "Screaming BLT". I went with the BLT since I wasn't feeling the vegan option. The description was "chili-hoisin glazed bacon | sliced tomato baby greens tomato jam | dill pickle pickled red onion chipotle aioli toasty thick-sliced white bread". Honestly, it was underwhelming. It had some tasty components but it was pretty average. The bacon was terribly weak. It was probably frozen precooked bacon that is heated and brushed with a hoisen glaze. I was hoping for some thick cut glazed almost candied bacon. Their avg. sandwich was around $16-17. If paying for that, I'd be left pretty disappointed. On top of that, it probably took around 35-40 minutes to get the sandwich. Again, pretty okay sandwich, the pickled onion, tomato jam and Chipotle aioli elevated things, but it's in vain with the bacon they use. Their other sandwiches sound good, so it's possible I'll visit to try them out at some point but can't see myself running back here after my impression with this BLT.

First of all, the restaurant itself is small but very cute, cozy, and full of lovely New England-y Sea-Themed decor. We were promptly seated and had our order taken for our drinks & food - I had heard good things about this place, so I got a decent amount of food items, including: Lobster Roll - Arguably the best lobster roll I've ever had so far in my life. The brioche bun for it was soooo fluffy, soft, and a perfect complement to the big, juicy chunks of lobster that were seasoned and buttered JUST right. Also came with hefty and well-seasoned fries. New England Clam Chowder - Came with salted pork and potatoes in addition to the quahog clams. It was deliciously creamy and soothing to slurp on and the chunks within were all so tender and a great contrast. Clam Cakes - Added them to the Clam Chowder order for an extra $8. Big, hefty, doughy balls that were perfectly fried outside and ooey gooey within. Fish & Chips - Big, hefty fish that was juicy & delicious with a great crunch on the outside! Similarly came with the 'chips', or the hefty, well-seasoned fries that the lobster roll also came with. Oh yeah, pardon me, forgetting to mention the drinks! We ordered the Briny Martini and the Harbor House Punch! The Martini was great for a stronger drink and the Punch was a nice cocktail for anyone preferring something sweeter and fruitier. When it came to the food, service, and dining experience...it couldn't have been better! Everything was incredibly delicious and definitely worth ordering. This memorable experience then reached exceptional circumstances, however, as while we were in the middle of dining here and enjoying our delicious food, there was a shooting occurring just up the street at Brown University. I wish to commend the staff at Dune Brothers, who looked out for mine and their other patrons' safety and sheltering us in their restaurant as we all nervously waited for more information on what exactly was going on that evening.
