This place is awesome, they always work with your schedule and all the workers and therapists are always very friendly. Been coming here since the summer and my child has improved so much in speech therapy. I would recommend this place to everyone!

To say that she did not want to be there is an understatement. The day we checked our mother in we met with many of the team members who would be in charge of our mother. They were all very nice. The facility itself was nice on the inside and outside. There is one team member that I would especially like to thank. His name is Joshua, and he is the Patient Advocate. He met with my siblings and myself along with our mother, the day she was checked in. During the meeting, he was very attentive to my mother which helped make her feel at ease. He listened to every concern we had for our mother. He took notes and followed through with all of the details and concerns that were discussed. Joshua is amazing at his job! He is professional and has a perfect personality to be an advocate. He is patient, understanding, kind, efficient, and very helpful. One day after a really hard physical therapy appointment, no staff members were able to help my mother be put back in her bed. She was miserable while she waited 15 minutes in a wheelchair. I text messaged Joshua and he was there within 5 minutes. I don't believe this is part of his job description. That is how helpful he is. He sweetly helped her back to her bed (they had to use a hoya to lift her in and out of bed). Next, he helped make sure she was clean and comfortable. This meant a lot to us as we watched him truly care for our mother. This is just one example of his kindness. Joshua was truly a life saver when our mother was there. If we could rate Joshua alone, he would receive 5 stars. He truly was wonderful. The problem we had was that the nurses and aides were understaffed. Our mother was fortunate because we were able to take turns to stay with her. The week I stayed with her, hours would pass with no nurse or aide to check on her. Even when the nurse call light was on, it would take at least an hour for someone to come into her room. One morning she was throwing up for over an hour. The aide was made aware of it. She said she would let the nurse know. No one ever came in that day to address the problem. There were other problems as well. It is our belief, that more nurses and staff need to be hired, if they want their patients to receive better care.

This is important if you are working from a budget and do not have unlimited funds. Again. Predatory behavior! Oh. And it sure is a pretty building. The physical care at Arrowhead is subpar according to two hospice nurses that cared for my mother after she left Arrowhead.

I'm writing this review, both to help people searching for the best Physical Therapy experience, as…read morewell as a personal Thank You note to Bree Wickey, the Director of this location. I was diagnosed with a serious neurological condition, and was in very bad shape mentally and physically. I didn't have much hope that things would ever get better for me, and when I tried to look into the future, all I could see was a dark void. I was over-prescribed with opiates, and many other types of pharmaceutical medication. I was told to go to PT by my doctor, and I reluctantly went. On my first session, I sat down with Bree, who was my Physical Therapist. She took the time to listen to me, where I've come from, what I've been dealing with, and my current state overall. She was so helpful in providing that first foundational step in the spinning chaos of my world, and it allowed me to focus on taking that second step, one after another. My doctors to that point had told me that they were not hopeful I'd ever get better, and that I might consider that THIS was the best it would ever be for me. Bree never had that mindset, and never even considered that I wouldn't improve. She believed in me when nobody else did, including myself. I dove in to our sessions, and looked forward to each of them - her sessions providing me the structure that I slowly built the rest of my week around. I truly believe that she saved my life, and I'll forever be grateful to her. Even more so, my experience was not singular. The entire clinic thrives when she's in the building, and the feeling lingers after she's gone home for the day. People - both coworkers and patients - feed off her energy. This is even more powerful when you consider that Bree has her own challenges, her own life, her own obstacles. She is the kind of rare selfless giver that never seems tire or allow outside issues effect her clinical environment. I love Bree, and I truly think you will too. She runs on a steady diet of Sunshine and Taco Bell, and can turn even a bleak situation to seem lighthearted. I've never been to a Clinic and heard the kind of laughter that I hear in her space. It's really amazing. As far as the specifics of the work done, I think her approach of using all available techniques really pays dividends. We've done the standard stretching, weight training, warm up/cool down, and exercise. We've also done stimulation with TENS units and heat/cold, ultrasound, and massage. My favorite is definitely the Dry Needling, and I pride myself on being her pincushion. She is so magical with her needling, and it stimulates the endorphin production that makes you feel wonderful, and I always feel compelled to give her a hug once my neurotransmitters are firing. Please take the time to meet with ATI Arrowhead. You deserve it, and you'll be better for it. Good luck to all of you in your recovery and your journey to your Best Self.

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.
