Therapy tree is an ABSOLUTE Joke! My 7yo autistic grandson needed some Speech Therapy. His doctors…read moreoffice sent out referrals and Therapy Tree responded. TT wanted to do video confreencing. So, we tried it. First therapy session did not go to good or long as my grandson being Autistic did not want to sit in front of the computer while the therapist did his little thing. Anyway it was a short session. The therapist said he'd email want we went over to try and get my grandson ready for the next session. Nothing was sent to go over and NO THERAPIST showed up for the next session. I was there in front of the computer, my grandson was there in front of the computer...BOTH of us WAITING for about 10 minutes. I finally got tired and tried to call. Their phone rand and rang, finally went to voice mail. I left a message asking for someone to call. NO ONE CALLED. Couple days later I got a call. I set up office visits, 2 days a week. One was one on one with a therapist, the other was a group of kids (2/3) I think. My grandson did not like it. He was making it difficult for the other 2 kids and the theripist. I was OK...lets just do the one on one. I told the office personel. Nothing got changed. Plus every one on one at the office, the therapist was always late. Appointment was for 4PM, theapist would show up at about 4:10. We went to a couple of those and the therapist said that she was leaving and that this was going to be her last day in the office. So, we got another therapist...saw her one time! Next appointment day came, I get a call at 2:40PM saying the theapist was sick! Next week came, same time I get a call at 2:45PM saying therapist was not in today. NOW get this...the appointment times were for 5PM both times! TT sent me texts and emails saying that I need to give more that a 24 hr. cancellation notice will result in a $65 fee and removal from upcoming appointments. For questions, please call (480) 787-XXXX. But yet, they won't do the same for the patient!

I was able to sit in with my son and observed that the other therapists were patient and polite with other kids as well. The initial portortin is the hardest part. But if you can get past that, it gets better. It's probably not their fault but they should look into a way to make the onboarding smoother, or better communication

Recently, our 86-year old mother was a patient at this facility for 3-weeks. She had no idea that…read moreshe would be checking into a rehab after having shoulder surgery. To say that she did not want to be there is an understatement. The day we checked our mother in we met with many of the team members who would be in charge of our mother. They were all very nice. The facility itself was nice on the inside and outside. There is one team member that I would especially like to thank. His name is Joshua, and he is the Patient Advocate. He met with my siblings and myself along with our mother, the day she was checked in. During the meeting, he was very attentive to my mother which helped make her feel at ease. He listened to every concern we had for our mother. He took notes and followed through with all of the details and concerns that were discussed. Joshua is amazing at his job! He is professional and has a perfect personality to be an advocate. He is patient, understanding, kind, efficient, and very helpful. One day after a really hard physical therapy appointment, no staff members were able to help my mother be put back in her bed. She was miserable while she waited 15 minutes in a wheelchair. I text messaged Joshua and he was there within 5 minutes. I don't believe this is part of his job description. That is how helpful he is. He sweetly helped her back to her bed (they had to use a hoya to lift her in and out of bed). Next, he helped make sure she was clean and comfortable. This meant a lot to us as we watched him truly care for our mother. This is just one example of his kindness. Joshua was truly a life saver when our mother was there. If we could rate Joshua alone, he would receive 5 stars. He truly was wonderful. The problem we had was that the nurses and aides were understaffed. Our mother was fortunate because we were able to take turns to stay with her. The week I stayed with her, hours would pass with no nurse or aide to check on her. Even when the nurse call light was on, it would take at least an hour for someone to come into her room. One morning she was throwing up for over an hour. The aide was made aware of it. She said she would let the nurse know. No one ever came in that day to address the problem. There were other problems as well. It is our belief, that more nurses and staff need to be hired, if they want their patients to receive better care.

Rehab is a commitment from both the patient and their family…read more The Center at Arrowhead is a beautiful facility, private rooms and baths, their staff,is committed to the care needed for your family members. You are part of a successful outcome, bringing good foods, company, and sunshine is key. Food here can be iffy unfortunately but you can call for something else. I recommend this facility, please stay on top of the physical therapy your person is receiving and encourage them to continue when they get back to their room. Thank you Belinda for helping our transition home easily, your support was truly appreciated.
