Cute store. They actually have JELLYCATS. A bunch here and there, and they have some giant ones too. But too bad they mixed the jellycat with other stuff toys, kinda hard to look around because they keep falling here and there. And I was not the only one that was looking for jellycat. They have a bunch of cute stuff too. I will check out the other two locations.

They have cute, carefully CURATED products. I purchased a red umbrella for myself & I was happy to, as I actually heart rainy weather. They have a bunch of umbrellas whose handles/holders are shaped like duck HEADs... with artificial eyes and wooden beaks attached! But not their body parts below their necks. Very ENdearing! You get to hold ON to their necks, I guess... Actually sort of morbid if you think about it... It might have been a pleasant experience and actually a therapeutic one, if the cashier girl with LA vendor hair didn't try to suggest to another man at/browsing at the store that-- I work at CVS, the PHARMACY. I don't work at CVS. I never have. It was very disturbing to recognise this. Regardless of how cute their stuff is, I will not be shopping at this store. She was being predatory and/or at least being complicit, by attempting to suggest to another man that I work somewhere that I don't. Such activities could be related to human trafficking, which I always report.

Therapy is such a fun store to browse! They have a couple of locations in the Bay Area. They have a lot of fun doodads and gifts that you can get here. I think it's a good store to pop in if you got a free hour and/or if you need a gift for someone immediately. They have a lot of things like: toys, plushies, jewelry, books, backpacks, candles etc. I've bought a candle before and I think a towel one time. I'm always tempted to buy something every time I stop by!

I almost had to ask my friends to intervene because I could never leave Therapy without 1-2 pairs of earrings. When I lived walking distance in Mountain View, I would visit weekly. Staff are always so friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy working there and helping you. It's always such a positive experience coming in. This is our go-to place for gifts. I've found gifts for friends, parents, partners and coworkers over the years. They always have such a unique selection and variety of items - I always leave with either earrings, artwork, a new book or candle. It's not the cheapest, especially when it comes to clothing, but I've found some great clothes in their sale rack. But the items I've bought myself from Therapy are still some of my most prized possessions. Can't wait til the next time I pop in (which will be soon).

I came here in late November 2020 on a weekend night. They do a good job of making sure they are adhering to COVID practices, and have a sign that limits the number of customers inside to 5-6 max. It does get a bit confusing though because the employees don't come out to tell you to go in. Regardless...service here is extremely friendly! I was coming here to shop for some local goods, and sadly the options were a bit more limited than I had imagined. Mostly the soaps/candles/cards are local, and everything else they carry is bougie brands. Pro tip: if you are an employee at Pure Storage (not public storage), you get 10% off (or was it 15%?) your entire purchase!

I was walking around Castro St and randomly came across Therapy Stores. I meant for my stop to be a quick trip, but I ended up spending a long time browsing around because of all the fun novelties. You know how Urban Outfitters have a books/home decor section of their stores? Therapy Stores is exactly like that except on steroids. This section is my favorite part of Urban Outfitters anyway, so naturally I fell in love with Therapy Stores. I found that the overall vibe and sense of humor of the place made it a Millennial/Gen Z dream store. However, I'm not saying that the store isn't for everyone. it totally has something of interest for people of any age. The store carries crystals, plants, clothing, jewelry, books, journals, unique cards, candles, local artist crafts, etc. I found things my parents would get a kick out of, and there were items for babies and kids. So If you're looking for a unique gift for that non-basic, special somebody, check out Therapy Stores. I know I will be going to Therapy Stores for novelty gifts in the future!

Ask the Community - Therapy Stores

Does this place accept good condition used clothing items in exchange for cash or store credit? What limitations do they have in what they accept?

They only sell new product. If you're looking for a place that sells gently used nicer end clothes, you should try Crossroads Trading Company in San Jose. Good luck!

David helped me, and I couldn't have asked for a better guide through the process. I came in knowing what I liked aesthetically, but not fully understanding movements, GMT functions, long-term care, or how different brands compare. David broke everything down clearly without ever making me feel inexperienced. What I appreciated most was how passionate and knowledgeable he is about watches at every level. Whether discussing entry-level pieces or high-end collectors' watches, he spoke with the same depth and respect. It felt less like a sales interaction and more like a conversation with someone who truly loves horology. If you're thinking about starting your watch journey, or adding to your collection, this is the place to do it. And ask for David! Great experience from start to finish. Thank you David.

I was surprised to see they carry the wonderful Osea skin care products as I didn't know they were made in California. I ended up buying a ceramic spoon rest, room spray, and a tiny gold "diamond" ring. Their prices were reasonable. The store owner rang up my items and was very friendly and nice. Run by a cadre of…read moremostly women volunteers, this organization rescues discontinued samples from upscale design showrooms in San Francisco. Housed in a small Sunnyvale warehouse, the organization says that each year, they keep about 70 tons (!) of material from going to the landfill. FabMo hosts regular sales open to the public as well as biannual "free giveaway" events. Customers can find tile, carpet, textile fabrics, wallpaper and more. Many materials are provided for free to teachers and there are also donations from the local community. Quilting fabrics, silk fabrics, jewelry making items, sewing notions, leather, decorations and much, much more are offered for sale in person or online through the FabMo eBay store. The only thing I wish that FabMo would do is to develop a partnership with WomenSV - a non-profit group based in the neighboring town of Los Altos. WomenSV helps women get out of abusive relationships. A little known fact about California family law is that, while the legal process is ongoing, individuals are prohibited from selling or using community property to make money. This allows for a continuation of financial abuse by the more powerful partner as they can delay the legal process indefinitely. In my own case, the divorce has been going on for three years as my ex has blocked me from accessing funds that are legally mine. Thanks to the low and no-cost materials I got from FabMo, I have been able to make and sell small craft items in order to buy groceries and obtain veterinary care for my service dog. As FabMo already hosts regular crafting lessons, I wonder if FabMo could somehow do community outreach to provide materials and teach skills to women trying to leave their abusers. Even people who have already managed to escape could benefit from the amazing work that the FabMo volunteers do. They're so successful at saving materials - - wouldn't it be great they could be a part of saving lives. Thanks, FabMo!

From the start, I was greeted by a kind and professional security staff member who kindly asked me to wait off to the side until an associate came out to meet me since I told him I had an appointment. While I waited, I browsed some of the selections on display. Their customer service with me was great! I worked with Connor and he was absolutely wonderful. At first, it seemed like he wasn't making much eye contact, as he was focused on his laptop, but I quickly realized he was actively taking notes on what I was saying, which I actually really appreciated. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate (especially about LOTR, so bonus points if you're a fan too!). Connor was also patient and supportive as my husband and I explored different options. We also asked about certain upgrades and warranty options, and Connor was completely transparent about everything. He clearly explained what was included, what could be added, and never made us feel pressured, just informed. That kind of honesty really stood out and made us feel confident in our decisions. While I ended up spotting something I loved in person, he also followed up with a detailed email containing additional selections based on our conversation. We scheduled a second appointment, where he had everything ready for us to compare and that's what ultimately helped me make my final decision. The final result? Absolutely perfect! I was in awe. It's unfortunate to see the negative reviews out there. But I know everyone's experience can vary, but I wish more people could see what BE has to offer when everything comes together as it did for me.
