I found it a little unusual they has no receptionist, I walked into an empty office and waited a good 15 minutes by myself before Amy the RMT was done her current appointment. Appointments are booked back to back to mine was delayed while Amy set up the room for my appointment and checked voice mails, I wasn't very impressed by this since I was on my lunch break but I understand appointments aren't always on time. The treatment itself was relaxing and hit all the troublesome areas, she does not treat as deep as some other RMT's I have been to but I still felt great after. She offered stretches to reduce strain and tension on my neck and shoulders. I had bought an Ethical Deal voucher and I was surprised that she didn't really try to bring me on as a client. She gave me a business card but that was it, I would be more inclined to go back had she recommended I return for further treatment (which I know I need.)

I like that their services include everything from massage therapy to acupuncture and Chinese medicine. So, over the winter I developed what I like to call "gammy hand", more commonly known as eczema. I was shocked when these little blisters started forming under the skin on my palm and it became dry and flaky. Feeling like somewhat of a freak I shuffled over to my local walk-in clinic. After a brief 10 minute glance-over the GP told me that this type of eczema was a "Vancouver thing" and that "loads of people get it" and wrote me a prescription for a steroid cream. "Rub this on it for 1 - 2 weeks and come back if it doesn't work". Hmpf. After 3 weeks of using it, it was mildly better, but certainly not gone. I felt a little disillusioned, especially after reading that prolonged use of steroid creams thins your skin! Yuck! Enter Harris Fisher TCMp, a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Klinik. I was skeptical, but millions of Chinese people with thousands of years of knowledge can't be wrong....right? Harris cares very genuinely about his patients and has a focus on treating the cause of a health issue, not just the symptoms. His bedside manner is exceptional and he is genuinely just a nice, down to earth guy. Harris sent me away with some pills to take, some herbs to be mixed with water and some instructions on foods to avoid for a 10 - 15 days period. Within 24 HOURS I saw a huge improvement in my hand. I was amazed! 4 days later it is well on the path to a full recovery. I have never thought to use Chinese medicine but now I am a believer! I would highly recommend Harris and his practice.

I have never seen my energetic and chaotic sons so calm and relaxed! Gizella had an amazingly personable, genuine, warm and kind way with the boys that made them feel immediately comfortable with her. She seemed to really be able to talk to them on their level and connect with them. My wife and I have had many massages over the years across the world and both of us agreed that Gizella is one of the best masseuses we have ever had. She is incredibly intuitive and can feel where your stress or tension is held so can cater the massage to your needs without the need for any verbal communication! Her touch is amazing and must be a natural skill she is blessed with, but you can also tell she is incredibly experienced in her field and she gave me several tips to help ease tension in my neck on a daily basis. I was a little skeptical about the in-home experience, but Gizella is so personable it was never awkward at all. When I reserved my time online, I typed in my email address incorrectly, so they called and let me know. I appreciated the reminder. When I met my therapist the first time, Michelle, she asked which part of my body needs attention, then had me stood up to check on my posture and providing feedback. The evaluation was very short, so she could start working on me. Once I was on the massage table, Michelle started working, her voice was calm while guiding me to take deep breathes. She made very little conversation during the session so I can relax, but she did point out on the major issue on my body that is causing problems, so I can notice. Michelle's massage technic was exceptional, very solidly strong but gentle, not the kind that dig into the muscles causing pain, her pressure was very consistent throughout the session. She used forearm pressure instead of the elbow to apply more pressure, I appreciated that because the pressure from the forearm is more gentle comparing to sharp pressure from elbow. Michelle used very little oil so I wasn't all greased up at the end. She had a good playlist with more loungey Jazz lo-beat music than those water running zen music makes me wana go pee all the time. She's also so friendly and always a pleasure to talk to! The IR sauna is also one of my favorites as it's only $10 add on when you're there for another appointment (massage or chiro). You get 45 minutes in the sauna, and they give you an additional couple before so you can prepare and then after so you can get dressed. They have a sink in the same room as the sauna so you can wash up before you head out. Great little gem in North Van!

They work with you on helping find a good therapist that will help you with your needs. They offer tea and coffee while you wait. I've been going to Elisha, who is just lovely. She is so nurturing and caring. She always makes sure that you know that hour with her is your time. She goes above and beyond with tips to help your injury or adjust how you do things for your job to keep your symptoms at bay. I have nothing but great things to say. The walls of the clinic are a bit thin, so you might hear people in other rooms from time to time, especially during peak times, but this isn't a deal breaker for me. I will continue to go here even after my treatments end.
