Overall I would recommend Healing Tree. I should also mention they have a great online booking system, it makes booking a massage so easy and quick!

The tip option starts at 30% which is insane.

First off, the studio has about 4 lounge chairs for foot reflexology and 4 rooms for body massages. Place is a quiet and serene that relaxes you. My masseuse, Ava, covered my eyes and covered me in a blanket, tilted the lounge chair and that was the start of la-la-land. I soaked my feet in a big tub of warm water with epsom salt and flower petals. Ava was professional, kneaded the exact places where it was sore. The foot reflexology ended with a neck and back massage. And a cup of yummy tea. What a relaxing experience! I'll definitely come back and recommend this place. The Fresha site they use to manage bookings needs a bit of work and updating. Pages couldn't load and it leads you back to the original questions. Because of this, I had to call them several times directly to provide credit card info and confirm my appointment. Note that they will be closed for renovations between Dec 30, 2024 - Jan 7, 2025.

On Dec.16, my partner received a cancellation email and voice message just ONE hour before the…read moreappointment saying the massage therapist was sick. The receptionist proposed a rescheduled date, but it didn't work for my partner. Rather than try to find a solution that would work, she opted to forego any attempt at customer service and simply said "there is nothing we can do." When my partner again tried to find a reasonable solution, the receptionist lacked the training or ability to deal with situation in a mature way, and chose to hang up mid-call. To call such action unprofessional would be an understatement. The reason to cancel the appoint is totally understandable, but a qualified receptionist with even the most basic customer service skills would attempt to come up with a feasible alternative to suit the customer, especially since there would have been an $80+GST cancelling fee if my partner would have been the one who had cancelled. Any professional organization that has high standards for their customers should also have high standards for themselves, but sadly, those standards seemed nonexistent. So one star for the unprofessional customer service, and hopefully the staff will receive the basic training required to engage with customers in a professional manner in the future. I have a coming appointment on 18th, hopefully they won't cancel it before the last minute. I will leave another comment after that. ---------------------------------------------------- Dec.17 update Yesterday I confirmed my booking politely through the phone, and this morning I also received the confirmation email. However, I received the cancellation email later afternoon, 24 hours before the appointment. I was expecting they may prove themselves by providing great service this time. But in fact, they just proved how unprofessional they are instead AGAIN.

She started understanding my health condition with a lot of good question and check my pulse and everything. Then she started my treatment with deep pressure points that was the best part of my treatment and then use the needles. I never had an acupuncture that takes time to really understand your body and never rush the treatment like Joanne. I felt really good instantly after and have booked her again and again. I highly recommend Joanne for your acupuncture needs!

My husband and I love massages too so we agreed to all get a massage. What are the chances of getting a same day massage for 3 people and it's already almost 7pm? ..Happy Feet did! :) My husband found Happy Feet on Yelp and read the good reviews. He called and was told they have available for 3 people at 7:45pm which was awesome! All 3 of us had a great massage. Personally I liked how my masseuse used a lot of elbow techniques which definitely applied a lot of pressure and I needed that for my stiff/tight muscles. Though my sister had a great massage and it helped with her migraine, she still had it because migraines as you know lingers for a long while. Rose, one of the owners who was checking us out offered a few more minutes of a head massage to my sister to see a smile on her face which of course it did. It was so kind, thoughtful, and sweet of Rose to offer and do so.

When I reserved my time online, I typed in my email address incorrectly, so they called and let me know. I appreciated the reminder. When I met my therapist the first time, Michelle, she asked which part of my body needs attention, then had me stood up to check on my posture and providing feedback. The evaluation was very short, so she could start working on me. Once I was on the massage table, Michelle started working, her voice was calm while guiding me to take deep breathes. She made very little conversation during the session so I can relax, but she did point out on the major issue on my body that is causing problems, so I can notice. Michelle's massage technic was exceptional, very solidly strong but gentle, not the kind that dig into the muscles causing pain, her pressure was very consistent throughout the session. She used forearm pressure instead of the elbow to apply more pressure, I appreciated that because the pressure from the forearm is more gentle comparing to sharp pressure from elbow. Michelle used very little oil so I wasn't all greased up at the end. She had a good playlist with more loungey Jazz lo-beat music than those water running zen music makes me wana go pee all the time. It's best to call the clinic to make reservation if you like to book with Michelle, since her schedule changes. The receptionist was very helpful when booking my next appointment. I look forward to my next session.
