Phenomenal service every time! My go to spot for deep tissue, RMT or acupressure. Thanks for being so great

Had a wonderful massage and facial at Sabai. This spa never fails to make one totally relaxed no matter which location you chose. This is my favourite spa for sure! read more

The ladies at this spa are outstanding. I have never left less than fully satisfied and feeling totally renewed. Best spa ever. read more

with all of the spas, skin care and on the North Shore, this continues to be one of the best.!!!! I've been quite a few times and will continue to book here. It's amazing.!!! read more

Seriously one of the best massages I've ever had. I went in with pain in my lower back, hoping a massage would help to eleviate some of the discomfort. The next day I was 90% better and I know it was because of the massage. My masseuse paid close attention to where I said I was having pain and worked other muscles as well that were directly linked to the area. The massage was healing but also relaxing and comfortable. I'm already looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks :) read more

great service, its a great location and the staff is super helpful and nice! Different styles of massage therapy . read more

I've had 3 or 4 Thai massages with Tum, and she is outstanding! She worked my neck out of a persistent spasm recently, for which I was so grateful. read more

First time trying Sabai and I am extremely impressed by the entire operation. Welcoming, professional, and an absolutely fabulous spa experience. Bella is awesome and they now have a repeat client! read more

Sabai Thai Spa - Day Spas Near Me - North Vancouver, British Columbia

My massage today was SO GOOD! I asked for the temperature of the bed to be a little warmer, that was easily arranged. The pressure was perfect. The room was actually quiet despite the location being on the main road. read more

Talk about being pampered! What a wonderful treatment. It starts with the very careful COVID screening, both online and when you arrive. It immediately makes you feel that they care and are very careful. The atmosphere also is warm, classy and professional. The moment you walk in you are attended to. Then comes the wonderful treatment. I decided to get a 60 minute massage from an RMT, because my extended medical plan will pay for part of it. I must admit that my expectations were high, but I was not disappointed in ANY way. Shirley was very attentive to my needs. She was experiences and clearly very skilled in her chosen profession. Even though I am elderly and a bit frail, I felt very secure in her ability to heal my aches and pains. Bravo! You did a masterful job Shirley. I'll be back! read more

Lovely friendly staff and excellent massage. 100% recommended and will return. Massage felt high quality and was tailored to my needs. Spa looks clean and is a relaxing, comfortable environment. read more

Incredible all around. Anti aging facial, the usual works, but 1st time with lip balm! Lan is awesome, especially with neck & shoulder massage. Appreciate them carrying organic products. Amex yay. read more

I just finished my 90 minute massage with Maya. By far the best massage I have ever had. A few things she did that I have not received with other massages were. 1) she heated up the oil. 2) she added some stretches, which felt amazing. 3) she bent my knee out to the side to stretch my inner thigh & then gave a deep massage for the inner thigh. I highly recommend Maya, but all the staff I have had are amazing. read more

I have been coming here for years and it used to be my go to spa, hands down. Unfortunately, I have found the quality has gone downhill over the last two years. It started when I was pregnant. My husband sent me for a pedicure because I couldn't reach my feet to paint my own toenails. There was no foot massage during the pedicure and the woman giving me the pedicure kept talking about inappropriate topics making it a very unenjoyable experience. When I left my husband noticed that the nail polish was splattered on my toes and she didn't wipe it off with some nail polish remover. Overall a waste of time and money. My second experience lately was in January 2014. I went for an hour Asian fusion massage. Asked the therapist to focus on my shoulders and for firm pressure. She gave firm pressure everywhere except my shoulders. When I mentioned this she said she would work on them more and didn't. I actually left with bruised hips from the amount of pressure she put on them which is the pressure I required on my shoulders. Overall, I have not enjoyed my recent experiences the way I used to and they have lost a long time customer. read more

A definite favourite!! Such an amazing spa with great staff and authentic atmosphere. Bought a member package for a great price (a little misunderstanding at first). Asako is the best!!! I can't thank her enough for her amazing kindness and utmost professionalism :) Can't wait to come back! Thanks so much Thai spa!! read more

A fantastic experience! My first time getting a Thai massage. Tum was excellent and applied the right pressure points. The service is always excellent, the ladies are accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommend. read more

Had a wayspa gift card so I went in. Booked gentleman's getaway for my bf and pure serenity for myself. It was alright. It's a mediocre day spa. Amenities are lacking, massages were ok. As a Thai spa, I hope it would smell like lemongrass and lavender when I walked in. Staff are friendly. Their packages are inexpensive so it's a good place for just a small treat for yourself. read more

First class service and extremely professional. Very accommodating and great pressure from the masseuse! The ambiance relaxing and overall just a pleasure to experience. My wife and I are eager to return! read more

Go away, hot stone massage! You are so yesterday. Welcome the hot herbal compress Thai massage; an amazing combination of herbal detox and bendy-twisty stress reducing heaven. Ninety minutes of pure bliss! Amor was truly intuitive with finding the gnarly knobs of tension in my shoulders, and eliminating them. Fragrant lemon grass smoothed my skin. Strong hands massaged away the day's crap. Sabai Thai is quiet, graceful and a truly relaxing oasis. Located on Marine Drive at McKay, this little gem is minimally furnished in dark woods and Thai silks. The staff are the stars here. Using mostly Eminence organic products, the wonderful and highly-skilled staff offer a restorative break in our lives. Street parking in the lot out back or along McKay. read more

I bought a coupon to get Thai massage and facial done. Unfortunately, because it felt so good, I fell asleep so I can't tell you in detail why it was good. My friend and I went to the North Van location. The treatment rooms are quite small and there are two levels. My friend went to the back of ground floor and I was upstairs close to the staircase. Unfortunately, my friend didn't have a good time as all she heard was vacuuming during her whole session. Her masseuse told her someone lives upstairs. Yet, I didn't hear any vacuuming upstairs. Points deducted just because my friend didn't have a good time. They provide you with a ginger tea after your treatment and they don't have a relaxing area for your after-treatment. You just get to sit in the waiting area in front of the cashier while cars on Marine Drive zip by behind you. read more

Unreal. I've been to this place 3+ times and it never disappoints. Everyone I bring here agrees that it's among the top 10% of massages they've ever had -- myself included. The service is exceptional from start to finish. My masseuse knows exactly what and where to work on, not just going through a routine. I highly recommend and wools give 7 stars if I could. read more

I had a great experience here yesterday. I purchased the pure serenity package on groupon for 81 dollars (20% off 101). The package included 90 minutes with eye and lip treatments, facial and massage. The massage was very relaxing and she used a good amount of pressure that released knots but wasn't too painful. She also pressed a lot of pressure points that helped to relax and release energy. I also loved the head massage and facial massage. The facial was citrusy in scent and left my skin soft and glowing. It wasn't the best facial I've ever had but it was a good brightening and softening treatment. Overall, a great experience and the ginger lemon tea they provided post-treatment was delicious! I'll definitely be coming back for the pure serenity package read more

Pretty fancy spa, and the service matches the actual setting itself. Great massage and excellent staff make this a one-of-a-kind experience, and I don't know if I'll be going anywhere else for now. Absolutely breathtaking how relaxing this spa is! read more

I finally used a gift certificate (possibly a groupon, not sure) my wife bought me almost 2 years ago! Yes, 2 years. I must be crazy not to have used it I know! Anyway, absolutely no issues at all redeeming it, just said my name and I was soon to be receiving a great medium pressure, super stress relieving massage from Cheryl. I think is was called the relaxation massage? I have only had minimal massage experience (to this date) but I plan to go back here as it seems like good value $90 for 60 mins. It did my body well...I slept great last night. Woke up revived. Very nice staff. Place was clean and a very relaxing atmosphere. I hope to get back soon and hope to make it a regular thing. Dare to dream. read more

I finally got around to using my Xmas voucher, and I wish I had used it sooner. I have had Thai massages from all over the world, but none so professional and relaxing. I was very impressed with the atmosphere, and COVID protocols. Also great value for the money. I will definitely be back soon :) read more

Highly recommended this place! The staff are super nice and they follow COVID Protocol strictly!

The atmosphere was very relaxing, the massage was great, however it was way too warm and muggy, no air conditioning at the time of my appointment. I had given them cash as a tip and when I went to pay for my services the woman very loudly expressed her concern for not tipping.. this was embarrassing as there were other clients in the waiting room. First of all, I did tip. Second of all, tipping IS OPTIONAL. I was extremely embarrassed and annoyed with their client customer care. read more

Went here for a relaxing massage and a facial. Honestly best massage of my life! I came away feeling so relaxed. Right from the moment we walked in the door, the staff were very professional. (for me, it was a mother-daughter spa day) The spa had a calm atmosphere and a nice tranquil scent in the air. Candles were lit throughout the spa and the decor kept to the theme of Thai which was very inviting. I was led upstairs to the room and the massage table was very comfortable. The girl who worked on me verified if there was any areas I wanted to be focused on. She applied the perfect pressure and asked if it was too much. The room was just the right temperature and the music was very quiet but still there, and it lent to the peaceful serenity that had me drift in and out of sleep during the massage. Next up was the facial. This was my favorite kind of facial as she also worked on my neck and shoulders. When one of the products was on, she gave my an arm rub. Everything was perfect, and she was very thorough. My face felt so fresh, smooth and bright after the facial, it was really the perfect pairing with the massage as I felt my whole body had been pampered. My mother-in-law also had a great experience and she talked about how much she enjoyed it for the rest of the day. Highly, highly recommend this spa, worth the price! I had just called them directly, they had their own promotion rather than the one on Groupon. Definitely call for an appointment. read more

I've been to several spas, and I think this place definitely is up there on their quality of work. They've got an amazing team of experienced body workers / spa therapists, who really know how to provide massage work that actually does something. I had a 2-hour Thai Massage with Rebecca today, and I requested some work done to my chronic lower back and shoulder pain. It was relaxing, de-stressing and therapeutic all at once. I found myself in a positive / reflective place mentally during my time with her, and was healed with a thorough treatment (beautiful music, caring service, healthy products, variety in treatments, and clean/comfortable environment). Needless to say, my chronic back pain is actually taken care of, and I'm mentally and emotionally refreshed. I will definitely come back for more sequence treatments! They offer Loyalty Packages for Massages at fair rates if you choose to add frequent massage in your wellness routine. Coal Harbour and West Vancouver locations are amazing as well! Each location has its own unique flavor, but is consistently top-notch in their service. Highly recommend Sabai Thai to everyone, first-timers or experienced massage clients alike! read more

Holy crap, I just had the best massage of my life at Sabai Thai Spa. I had the relaxation massage and I have never enjoyed a massage so much. Sylvia was my masseuse and she was amazing. I also loved the heated massage table. I wish I could have just slept there for a couple of hours after my appointment. That really should be an add on service. You have the option of buying 5 or 10 prepaid massages (or facials) at a discount, which I think you'll want to invest in after your first massage. read more

I've been here twice in the last year with friends for the True Wellness package and enjoyed myself both times. The massage practioners are warm, friendly and skilled and the services offered are at reasonable prices. Oh, and the two girls I had were actually Thai : ) There are often group buy deals and unlike many other spa places, the deals are just as good as the regular services. No scrimping, cutting corners or creating "specials" just to draw in new customers, Sabai Thai has been honest with their business practices from what I've seen and that is definitely to be lauded. The Marine Drive location in North Vancouver is a bit small, with the main level appearing more like a retail storefront than a spa. The upstairs is where the magic happens and where patrons are brought after being plied with hot ginger tea and funky black spa slippers. There is one mat room for traditional Thai massages (during which they bend you like a bulk-bin twist tie) and two other rooms with the usual massage tables. Sabai Thai isn't as swanky as the higher-end spas (Shangri-La, Absolute Spa, Spa Utopia) but I actually like it better because it's more intimate and down-to-earth; it doesn't waste time trying to impress you with useless fluff like imported Italian marble floors laid by bare-chested former Olympians or choke you with candles scented by "mountain breezes." They simply offer good services in a simple setting. There's also a really small steam/infrared(?) room on the main level which I've used once and it's perfect for a couple or two close friends. The spa menu offers enough options for most people and the products they use are mostly Eminence, a good organic and natural skin care line. Overall Sabai Thai on Marine is a great place to bring moms and significant others because it's cozy and the atmosphere is welcoming and non-pretentious, therefore not overly-girly or intimidating to the dude in your life. I'll now be making this my usual go-to in future and saving those crazy-indulgent spa splurges for corporate events or very special and rare occassions. read more

God a package with Groupon and was surprised by how well I was treated there. The massage was purely delightful and the facial left me practically glowing. I really appreciated the fact that they treated me as a regular customer instead of just a "Groupon" customer as some other places do. In fact I enjoyed it so much that I'm willing to pay the full price to get it again and in fact am getting it for my mother as well. I definitely recommend this place to everyone, it's truly worth it :) read more

I had a wonderful massage and facial, very thorough and an excellent experience. It left me feeling like I was floating on air from a spa-gasm, it was that good. The ginger tea at the end was such a nice touch after such friendly service, and I felt relaxed and comfortable sitting and sipping my tea. It is on the pricey side but well worth it. If you have a big thank you to give someone a gift certificate for a massage here is an amazing idea, and get one for yourself as well! read more

Excellent service. The women who work here are wonderful. My only complaint is that the owner is clearly a bit of a tyrant. The staff is much calmer when they are left to work on thier own without her lurking over them. If I had the money, I would hire all of the staff and open a new spa and let the women run it themselves. ! read more

I bought multiple groupons for this place and they've always delivered great service! The place is very hygienic and they offer you tea or water after your treatment. They use all Eminence products which are all natural (I think organic). I got the 90 minute spa package including 60 mins. Deep tissue and 30 mins facial. They do a nice medium-hard pressure if requested. Best groupon I've bought yet. They always have monthly promotions, so even if you don't have a groupon you can still get a reasonable deal. I favor this place over Spa Utopia hands down. read more

This is other one of the best massages that I have received at Sabai Thai Spa. Rebecca is my massage person. She does a wonderful job and knows just how much or little pressure is required to get an optimum effect. I would recommend anyone with deep muscle, tension or headaches to visit Sabai Thai Spa and try Rebeca, if you like a deep Massage. I had a Thai Massage, it's amazing this massage give you back the mobility and peace that you desire. read more

I have been to sabai thai four times now for there relaxation massages. As soon as you walk in the smells and warm inviting staff instantly help relax you. By far the best massages I have had. They massage everything from your feet to your scalp. The ultimate in relaxation. When you are finished you get to sit there with a warm glass of delicious tea and relax. Love this place and will continue to support them. read more

Cannot recommend this place and the 90-minute Pure Serenity Package more - I was gifted a Living Social voucher and bought another one at the end of my session! There was a LOT packed into the time, Ayuku had a great routine and technique. Great effort to keep oil out of hair, nice dry scalp massage at the end - bring your hairbrush (I usually don't carry one) for your comb-out before you leave. Eminence products felt soothing and not perfume-y, no hard sell afterward just samples offered. Parking behind! read more
