The scrub wasn't quite what I am used to (no black underwear clad ladies using plastic mesh to exfoliate), but was nice - like a regular spa sugar body scrub. The facial, however! So relaxing. A calm little oasis on Robson street. I came for a last-minute massage and facial. The waiting room chairs were comfortable, and it was relaxing to be in. The room I was in was dimly lit and had soft music playing in the background. They don't offer any choice of massage oils. I was told to lie under a large towel, which felt significantly less luxe than a sheet, especially because the towel was a little scratchy. The towel was a great representation of the rest of my experience - not bad overall, but it lacked a touch of luxury that I was craving and there was something not-quite-right that I couldn't put my finger on. The masseuse was very nice and polite, as was the lady who did my facial. The facial also included an arm, shoulder, and chest/torso massage. Overall, it was a good experience, but it didn't stand out. For those looking for a more luxurious experience, you might be left wanting. Awesome rainy day experience at this day spa. Made to feel comfortable and got great service. Was so happy that I came back the next day. First time around got a 100 min scrub and massage. The therapist made me feel comfortable and let me know what she was doing along the way. She checked in on pressure multiple times which I really appreciated. By the end I was so relaxed and not to mention super smooth. After melting into the table I asked about pedicures. It just so happened they had availability and I got both a pedi and a mani. One therapist work d on the feet and then a second worked on the hands. Both hands and feet looked really good. Next morning I came in for a hair cut. Taylor said she is good with hair and she did not disappoint. I don't normally give free reign to the stylist but am glad I did. She gave me a good trim and new style that looked great. Best part is that it was also GF approved! Last but not least, I asked about a facial. Taylor kept working on me and cleansed And treated my skin. Face looked great and I had a beaming glow. Clean place, BUT! Everything else is off. Firstly massage: no pressure at all, even though it was deep tissue, the masseuse couldn't press hard enough, even though I asked her to use more pressure. Had a double date night and service was so spectacular my friends and I are planning to revisit for a girl's night. The place was spot clean, soothing environment, and we were greeted promptly by very polite staff. At the time they were short-handed, so they could only take two at a time. It was fine since when making the appointment they gave us a heads up over the phone, doing so again as they courteously offered the boys to soak their feet and have tea while they awaited their turn. The masseuse I got was named Karen and she was super sweet plus did a spectacular job. In the beginning, I told her my trouble areas which she took note of, focusing on them and asking along the way if pressure was alright. She was very thorough and did an amazing job getting the knots out, even in areas I didn't know where tense! Two of us got the Deluxe Escape combo which comes with a body scrub (we had winter skin neglect). Honestly, it was nothing special though did the job as we came out baby soft! For the affordable price you can definitely indulge here. I'd recommend trying their Korean Kyung Rac massage or Deluxe Escape combo. Only con my friend mentioned is that both of us have very senitive skin, and would have loved if the product used were explained or if there were a selection to choose from. Harmonie Day Spa...Ahhh what can I say...I have been there around 3 or 4 times...The service is excellent and the massage is even better! I always go there for their Harmonie facial massage which costs $88 for 60mins. In my opinion and experience that is one of the cheapest in the market if you like Korean style facial. I have not a single complaint when it comes to their service and quality! The atmosphere in their massage rooms are so soothing and calming. They generally play a very soft orchestra music in the background. Their lighting in the massage rooms are just so perfect and incredibly relaxing. My skin always feel so soft and refreshed after going there. So, I would highly recommend this spa to anyone who is looking for a good quality facial massage! read more

This is not my usual venue to get my nails done. However, to their credit they were the only salon open late afternoon on a Monday public holiday. Desperate, I thought this was going to be a quick fix to get my nails done in time for work the next day. Yes, the spa is clean and conveniently located on Robson. However, this was by far the worst gel manicure I've received...ever. Manicurist was awkward with her technique, took way too long and the end product was less than average. On top of that, they only had a handful (less than 5) gel colours to chose from. The manicure barely lasted ten days. Waste of money, time and unprofessional finish. Fail. read more

I have been here a few times mainly because it is very close to where I live. Overall, I think Harmonie is okay for manis and pedis. The salon is clean, the staff are polite, and they do a good job making my feet and hands look good (a very difficult task, I must admit). At $35 for a pedi and $25 for a mani, their prices are competitive, although probably a little bit more expensive than the competition. Pedicure Their pedicure foot spa chairs are comfortable, and the ladies who work there give good foot and leg hot towel massages. They also do a fine job overall with smoothing out rough skin and shaping and polishing my nails. My feet and nails always look great, and I feel relaxed and a bit pampered after. Manicure Whenever I book a mani and pedi combo, my manis are sometimes done at the same time as my pedi, which I am not too keen on because I just can't quite relax (I like reading while getting my feet done). Since they have no manicure tables, manis are done while one is sitting in an occasional chair. Because the chair is quite deep, and I am not exactly tall, I find this to be a bit uncomfortable. That said, I find this set-up adequate - adequate, but I feel it could be better. Still, my nails always look good after they are done with them. Conclusion Harmonie is okay overall, and that is why I have returned a few times. However, I must admit I am not a loyal customer by any means, and am definitely open to trying other nail salons in my area. read more

I thought I would try this spa out since it was so close to where I live, I don't think I'll come again. Although the staff was very friendly, the overall experience was not great. I had to ask several times for more pressure and it still felt like she was just brushing her hands on my back. Also, if you have a nut allergy or allergy of any sort I would recommend you ask for another massage oil because their usual reacted to my skin pretty badly. Friendly front desk that accommodated my 90 minute massage first thing in the morning. My therapist Elli was excellent. I highly recommend her. I really like it here. It is a peaceful spa and the people who work there just let you relax, close your eyes or read and don't chatter non-stop - maybe they would if i spoke Korean, but I don't! I find it very clean. I have had a mani twice (perfectly painted nails even with dark colours) and the luxury mani which at 65 is a bit expensive but includes a half an hour foot and leg massage. Have also tried the mini facial which at 38 dollars is worth it for a quick 'pick-me-up' - the massage was heavenly. Will definitely be back. read more

I stopped in with a friend on a whim for a manicure/pedicure recently and the staff didn't seem to have much experience with nails. My friend's manicure only lasted a few minutes ($40 and they only put polish on) but my pedicure went on for over one hour (not clear why it was so slow because they didn't do anything special) and my nails still weren't dry after 1.5 hours. My polish was uneven and full of lint/bubbles but I didn't have the time or patience to ask them to redo it. My friend's polish peeled completely off her nails less than 24 hours later. I had a facial in this SPA. The staff there are pretty good. They charged me the same amount as they quoted. This is a good place if you have a normal or close to normal skin and want just to relax and refresh yourself. I really liked the massage and the cosmetic they used. But if you have acne like me and need a deep cleaning - this place is not for you. The cleaning itself took about 10 min and the girl used a tool which didn't clean deeply. So when I left this place most of my pores were still clogged. There was no pain during the procedure and no red spots on my face afterwards which means for my skins that it hasn't been cleaned. read more

One of the best/most relaxing massages I have ever had!! My husband and I were visiting Vancouver from out of town. We were staying at the Times Square Hotel and this spa was just a few blocks away. I passed by the spa and it looked really inviting and the price of a 1 hour massage was very reasonable, so I decided to have one. Jean, the massage therapist, was polite and professional. I have been a regular (male) client for quite a few years, having gone first on a recommendation from a friend. They have had some staff turnover, and some have been better than others, but overall it has been very consistent and of high quality. Aria is a newer person and she gives great mani/pedis. Recently repainted, it is a very clean and calm place to be for an hour. They always listen to your preferences for shorter nails or lighter massages after your treatment etc. They are a bit more expensive, but worth the extra in my opinion. I don't go often so when I do, I want to feel like I come away feeling better than when I went in. That is always the case! read more

This spa is around the corner from my house so I popped in for a french wax on a whim since it was so close. The experience was very negative and embarrassing. I was brought into a brightly lit room with no ambience, directly off the main waiting area. I had requested a french bikini wax, and my technician left the room so I could prepare. After stripping my lower half, I realized there was only a paper sheet on the waxing chair. When my technician returned I inquired if I could have a towel to cover my lower half and be more comfortable as it was how I was used to being waxed. She shook her head no,no we have no towel...UM ARENT YOU A SPA? 'Fine, I'll roll like this. it's ok' I thought. Then, while I sat there half naked, we started to disagree on how much hair I wanted removed. It was extremely awkward. Having familiarized myself with their prices online before popping in, I felt like I was being pushed to spend more money. I am no stranger to waxing, and have a wonderful place I normally go to with great prices. I stood to get dressed, informed her I'll just go to my regular place, thanked her and walked out.
