First time here, loved the dog friendly atmosphere. Tacos were great but no vodka! Smh

    Awesome beach vibe bar

10/10 recommend! Atmosphere, food and drinks are amazing- the people (employees and customers alike) are so friendly and obviously love dogs. Our dog had the best day of her life. Will 100% be back with friends and family. ‍

If you want to escape to a place by the sea where the sand tickles your toes and the bubbles from a beer quench your thirst, this is your place. Even thought this spot isn't by the sea it sure feels like it. The vibe is chill and it makes you feel like you are drinking a cerveza in Mexico. The lights dangled across the bar and sand add the right touch. The music playing travels to your inner pit and relaxes your uptight soul after a long day at work. What I am trying to say it, Yardarm is like a spa, for people who drink without the massage. I am a sucker for a patio, they tend to be one of my favorite things about life. This is MY dream patio. So just go try it. I am sad to say it is closing soon for the winter but sounds like if it is nice they will announce that they are opening on their Facebook page. Then we can get some patio time in when the warmer winter days grace us.

    PS. My Jeep is amazing.

Yeah. It's a steel container in Garden City. As sketchy as that sounds, the container opens to a spectacular bar, and the ground is sand. A taco truck on location and a live band made this place a diamond in the rough. The beer is great, diverse, and cold. The ambiance is eclectic yet endearing. The bathrooms are hilarious tin shacks. Tables are wide and chairs are wooden stumps. Stand around, hang out, drink beer, roll with it. My favorite part was the surfer dudes rolling off the river in soaking wet suits! Least favorite part was the business promoted drone that swooped down, buzzed overhead and gave off a generally creepy feeling. Ditch the drone. Drink the beer. Enjoy the day.

What a sweet little spot by the river. Met a friend here on a whim and we were super happy. They're dog-friendly and have a kick ass food truck on site. I had fun, and my dog had fun. Decent tap list and a few local cans.

Been coming here for a year or so now but never left a review. This place is amazing. Feels like you're at the beach, sand under your feet and good dogs lounging around. There's a great food truck serving up modern twists on Mexican cuisine. Artichoke heart tacos, street corn, and purple sweet potato rolled tacos are a must! Thank you Yardarm, will be back soon.

Great find in Boise. After a nice walk along the river thru town, it's great to just sit and grab a beer in a pod bar with a chill environment and good people-watching. I really appreciate a good, casual dog-friendly place to grab a beer.

First bar I went to in Idaho and what a great choice it was. It was hot out and I drank many many many modelos. Bar tenders were awesome guys to. My dog loved Latin in the sand. Living in Denver has made me a bit of a taco snob, these tacos are pretty darn good. I got this fish tacos and purple potato flautas, never seen that before! Great spot to grab a beer then go for a walk on the river

Drinking beer from Hawaii and it actually feels like we're in Hawaii... but we're definitely not. Weird and cool.

Bittercreek provided me with just what I needed today. Warm and inviting service and a terrific selection of food and beverages for me to enjoy. Dined alone at the bar and everyone that I came into contact with did what I expect. Timely greet and informative service personnel. Hats off to the whole team. Was talked into a Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley and it was spectacular. I usually stick to Willamette Valley reds but went for it after a tiny taste. It's what I needed but didn't know it until it was offered. Too many times I stick to my wheelhouse and don't stray but was coerced by someone who I assumed was the inhouse shotcaller. I had two glasses and it went well with the Bowl of Corn Chowder I was told about. Served hot and with some semi crusty sourdough that hit the spot. Finished every spoonful and it brought me back to my time in New England. The soup was done right for sure. Noone trying too hard which is an issue when trying to recreate a coastal favorite while land locked in the mountain state of Idaho. Right before I had.my second glass of Chardonnay, I asked "the front of the house shot caller" about the selection of Rums and was offered a taste of one that could have been a contender for my follow up beverage. No mixer needed. Would have made a great sipper, as most good rums can be but I elected for the second glass of Chardonnay. Glad that I did. Was feeling a bit buzzed and full from my meal and had to exit stage left before trying a dessert. I'm sure it would have been epic but I'm thin for a reason and don't overindulge. Thank you Bittercreek! My visit with you all made me wonder why I hadn't been in since 2006 or 2007. I'll, certainly, be visitong more often and will bring others with. You've got a fan in me!

A couple of my friends showed up first, got a great table outside and ordered a couple apps to get the party started. I showed up after goodies and drinks were ordered. We started off with some chips and salsa and pountine. The chips and salsa looked good but the pountine was definitely calling my name! I love me some potatoes and these potatoes looked like they were going to be right up my alley! I dished up a good portion before my friends got some. They were kind to let me plate first cause of my new kidney. I didn't want to be too greedy so the portion I got was a few bites. Those few bites got me hooked so it was a must to get another order started. While my order of pountine was being worked on, I tried the pretzel with cheese and the hummus plate. The pretzel was perfectly salted. The cheese sauce was the perfect addition to the soft pretzel. I took a good amount of the hummus and Greek salad. The pita that came with it was a great vessel for the hummus. It was crispy with a slight chew to it. The hummus was clean tasting and rich. The Greek salad was so fresh. All the components of the salad tasted like they were just picked from the garden. You literally can't get anymore farm to table than that! It was so fresh! The second order of pountine came out. Everything about this appetizer was delicious! I love soggy, softer fries and these fries were the business! The gravy and cheese were the highlight of the dish for me. You can never go wrong with potatoes, cheese and gravy! There was a good amount of meat on the pountine. It was so tender! You can tell it was cooked with a lot of love and time! I took the rest home and I plan on hiding my box in the back of my fridge so my daughter can't get to it! We ended our happy hour with the beignets. Each one of these goodies were covered in powered sugar. The caramel sauce that was paired with it was devine! In all honesty, as full as I was, I could have polished off an order myself! They were the perfect dessert to end this fabulous meal. Bittercreek has been on my to go list for a hot minute. I'm so happy we got to come here and celebrate my birthday. The food was marvelous. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! Our waters were always filled. Our cocktails were never dry. And our plates were always filled cause food was always ordered on time for us. Homie was on point tonight! The venue can't be any more stunning. The weather was lovely. We were meant to be here today! In so happy we started my birthday week off at Bittercreek!

He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent. I would highly recommend this place for the staff that is there the solid pub style restaurant that they have created. Super easy and relaxed kinda of place.
