I was super excited to try out Bert's after seeing how cute their decor was! I went with a couple of girlfriends for a beer before dinner downtown, and I was so pumped to try their new cherry sour I had seen marketed on their Instagram. Upon arriving my first impression was that the decor is top notch! The only downside was that it was raining outside and there wasn't a lot of seating inside. We ended up cozying up to 2 families with their kids spread out all over - not a huge deal but it was a bummer that they couldn't scooch a little closer to make more space for others. Went up to the bar and asked for the sour, only to find that they were out. I immediately saw that there were cans of it in the fridge next to the bar and asked if I could pay for the cans and open them in bar. The bartender rudely told me those were for to go only. I was disappointed but business rules go! I ended up trying two different beers and none of them were memorable enough to remember. I have, since then, tried the sour from the Co-Op and it's one of the best I've had in a while. All in all, I would go back if I was invited but didn't see any reason to make this one of my go-to spots. I would've paid the can price + a corkage fee if it had been an option! So maybe if they start doing that in the future I would go back again!

These guys now have their badass beer in 4 packs!

These guys are extremely warm from the minute that you walk in, they don't have food, but they do have bad ass food trucks right out outside! Ambience is nice, very relaxing, dog friendly, and kid friendly ! Great service, the people that work here really care about their beer, and they are very knowledgeable about it !

Great atmosphere for small group or large group entertaining. The beer and overall vibe of Bert's Brewing was beyond expectation. The owners opened up for a large group on Monday (which is the day they are really closed). Such a nice evening in the Garden City area, lots of new places popping up. Parking is a little difficult so plan ahead.

Betts is great, just be careful where you park. $200 even on a Sunday. They will boot your car if you're not careful where you park.

Bittercreek provided me with just what I needed today. Warm and inviting service and a terrific selection of food and beverages for me to enjoy. Dined alone at the bar and everyone that I came into contact with did what I expect. Timely greet and informative service personnel. Hats off to the whole team. Was talked into a Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley and it was spectacular. I usually stick to Willamette Valley reds but went for it after a tiny taste. It's what I needed but didn't know it until it was offered. Too many times I stick to my wheelhouse and don't stray but was coerced by someone who I assumed was the inhouse shotcaller. I had two glasses and it went well with the Bowl of Corn Chowder I was told about. Served hot and with some semi crusty sourdough that hit the spot. Finished every spoonful and it brought me back to my time in New England. The soup was done right for sure. Noone trying too hard which is an issue when trying to recreate a coastal favorite while land locked in the mountain state of Idaho. Right before I had.my second glass of Chardonnay, I asked "the front of the house shot caller" about the selection of Rums and was offered a taste of one that could have been a contender for my follow up beverage. No mixer needed. Would have made a great sipper, as most good rums can be but I elected for the second glass of Chardonnay. Glad that I did. Was feeling a bit buzzed and full from my meal and had to exit stage left before trying a dessert. I'm sure it would have been epic but I'm thin for a reason and don't overindulge. Thank you Bittercreek! My visit with you all made me wonder why I hadn't been in since 2006 or 2007. I'll, certainly, be visitong more often and will bring others with. You've got a fan in me!

They have a variety of beers that are their own brand as well as others. No cocktails. Beer and wine only. I got the wedge salad, and hot damn, those little crispy onions rings on there were fire. I also got the brisket Reuben. The sauerkraut had little bits of jalapeño. The brisket was super tender. Nom Nom Nom! This is such a cool spot. They have outdoor seating right on 8th, so you can people watch to your hearts delight. I definitely recommend.

He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent. I would highly recommend this place for the staff that is there the solid pub style restaurant that they have created. Super easy and relaxed kinda of place.

I also ordered the frito pie. The chili was dry and there weren't many Fritos with it. No cheese either. We got the Philly style chopped tri tip sandwich. The bread and meat were dry. The redeeming dish was the Mac and cheese. It was amazing!
