In trying to sum up my review, I just kept coming back to "trying too hard." The ambiance was awesome and so was the service but the food was ok at best, especially for the hype of dining "at Tigers restaurant." Drinks were also just ok. I would stick to basic orders vs custom cocktails. The price is definitely on par with said hype... I wish I could give more of a review but the experience wasn't particularly memorable to add much more details. Nonetheless I can see a restaurant like this continuing to be popular for the experience alone, which is very nice. Wishing the best to this place and hoping to update should my next experience prove me otherwise! read more

What a very sad experience, I try not to leave negative reviews, but I was severely disappointed with everything in this restaurant. The service was absent, the food was not acceptable, only when it finally showed up. Our wait staff person became so embarrassed that she became extremely scarce, We really shouldn't have to ask the staff to clean off our dishes. Although we do appreciate the manager buying us dessert, all of our coffee's showed up cold and of course, after dessert. If Tiger wants to call me, I'm happy to explain myself to him. We stopped for an early dinner coming back from a visit at the Navy Seal museum and the restaurant hasn't lost of its quality food and exceptional service. I had the Woods burger with fries and it was delicious, it literally melted in my mouth. My wife had the Ahi tuna and my nephew the ribs. They both enjoyed their meals very much. My strawberry basil margarita was super tasty and flavorful. From there, the food got less exciting. I asked for the woods salad to start and got the snapper for dinner. Unfortunately, everything came out at the same time, I expected the waitstaff to be on top of that. The salad had potential. However, it was smothered in the salad dressing, ask for dressing on the side. The snapper, or should I say butter with a side of snapper, was overpowered by butter it slide right down. The other guests at my table were all equally unimpressed by their meals, rack of ribs and steak with sides of mac and cheese and asparagus. We found it super odd with the asparagus that we only got the stems and not the tips of them. For parking you do need to park for valet and there is garage parking. read more

We were disappointed with several aspects of our visit: * The lobster bisque was very unappealing in taste. * Some plates arrived at the table dirty. * Our water glasses were never refilled, and service felt inattentive overall. * Despite these issues, there was a charge for the bread, which felt unwarranted given the service. Overall, the meal was just okay, but the combination of poor service, unappealing food, and added charges would keep us from returning. After reading through the reviews, I was skeptical about this place but am so glad I came to check it out for myself! The Woods is a solid 5/5 for me. Firstly, our server Gianni was wonderful; very attentive but not overbearing. I didn't love my first drink (I got the strawberry margarita without sour mix -- my mistake) but he gladly switched it out for a glass of wine. The timing of our drinks/apps/entrees/dessert coming out was perfect. Also, the restaurant's atmosphere was like a very fancy sports bar? Something I've never seen before but they executed this concept perfectly. We started with the buffalo chicken flatbread which was more like a pizza, but we loved it... who doesn't like pizza? For entrees, we had the Jupiter Salad with skirt steak and the woods burger with fries, plus a side of sautéed mushrooms. We enjoyed every bit of it. I have to say, the salad was one of the best salads I've had in a long time. We then tried the s'mores casserole for dessert and wow... it was SO good. So filling, but we couldn't stop eating it. The ambiance is like a very upscale sports restaurant. Would be a great place for college football or basketball games. We went in a Friday night and it wasn't that crowded. It's in a very cute area of Jupiter. The food we had was great. Had the scallops and the ribs. The scallops were fresh and perfectly seasoned and the ribs were huge, but not enough sauce. My first visit the steak tasted like it was microwaved and two guests found hair in their entrees. The second and third time two of us had violent food poisoning. The Woods has been bookmarked in my Yelp since it opened. I finally got to try it out and it did not disappoint. I'm looking forward to dining here again and trying some more of their delicious menu. I was excited to try the infamous The Woods when my friend decided to have his birthday dinner here last night. We were a party of 8 people. We made a reservation for 7:30 but we were not seated until well after 8pm. Apparently, the party before us took longer than expected, so all of us were left waiting and super hungry. Inevitably, our experience was not off to a good start. I was disappointed with the service we received. I totally understand that with COVID and everything going on, the service industry is lacking enough staff, and larger parties are not easy to service. With that being said, we waited a very long time for everything from beginning to end. It was bad enough that we had to wait well passed our reservation time, but we did not even start eating our entrees until nearly 10pm. The food was only okay and nothing to run home about. I was expecting a lot more for the cost of everything, but I was very underwhelmed. Another person in our party had to send back her meal because it arrived ice cold. We informed them that it was our friend's birthday and they ended up bringing out cotton candy and did not even sing happy birthday. The server simply said "happy birthday" softly and walked off. Very strange. Our server ended up bringing out one bill and we requested if we could receive our bills separate. He informed us that was not possible and he could accept only 5 cards for the total bill, which totaled almost $1,000.00. After the entire experience, this was the tip of the ice berg. This is something that would have been good to know beforehand. After all of us trying to send funds electronically and figure out all of the kinks, we were finally able to leave. Since it first opened 3+ years ago, a lot has gone on here. The place started off very slowly structurally due to approvals of the local government. Many staff changes and coming into the present, Tiger Woods wins the 2019 Masters Tournament, his first major win since 2008. Well, you can see how upbeat this place has become in the last week. The staff seems rejuvenated since the crowds have been literally pouring in. (I'm sure the tips have increased). All three of us sat at the bar for happy hour which most cocktails were $8, a very decent price until 6pm. Taylor was reigning at the bar to accommodate our demands, very pleasant and quick. She didn't skimp on the drinks due to hh. After a spell, we were seated in a private booth which could've housed six patrons. Allison introed herself and we pondered over the relatively simple menu. Calamari and Brussels Sprouts came out followed by our entrees 15min later, two steak orders and a chicken dish. Delicious. Well paced meal, no evidence of rushing. Ordered a $34 hamburger medium rare and it came out well done, couldn't find the waitress until I got up and flagged an employee down so lousy food and worse service. The manager came over and said yep that's well done, let me tell the chef. He did comp it despite my telling him that wasn't necessary but then a couple came in with a dog that was in no way a service dog. The dog was on the bench seats and no one noticed it until I said something and instead of telling them to sit outside all they did was tell them to keep the dog on the floor. Disappointed. Lobster bisque was pretty good, the only thing I would think about ordering again, but not my favorite. Oysters Rockefeller had a great flavor but was completely cold.. should have been baked longer. The cheese was barely melted. Had potential to be very very good if they were cooked longer. The bolognese was just ok. I got the sea bass special. I absolutely love Chilean sea bass and while this was a different kind of sea bass, it should have been pretty similar. It did not "melt" and flake apart the way it usually does. The cut was very thick, but there is no way this was worth $70. When I saw the price that is when I really was disappointed. Probably should have tried a filet for that cost. The ambiance is strangely trying to remind you that tiger is sporty w tvs and short skirts and sneakers. Very surprised there wasn't more of a set code for sneakers on the wait staff.. from running shoes to high top converse.. tvs playing sports.. but everything else looking like a different class place and $70 sea bass. I feel for our server and almost don't want to even say anything as he was trying but needs better training. He apologized for the wait for him to come help us but then told us he was late for work and too much information lol.. he didn't tell us there were specials until we said we were ready to order. I specifically asked him about the oysters Rockefeller before ordering and he couldn't really say anything except he thought they looked good (aka he hasn't tried them and can't explain them). I went with friends over the weekend, and although we requested a table outside, they had given it away to another group. We waited a few moments to sit outside because inside was WAY too crowed, at least near the bar area. The food was OK, not great. The grilled octopus was GREAT and the truffle fries were also very good. I would recommend that every time. The lobster roll was less than desirable. It wasn't chunks of lobster, more like shredded. The staff was alright, our servers were very polite, but they took a while to take our order and check in on us to see if we needed other drinks. I think my breaking point was when they started clearing our plates before we were finished. It was about 8:45-9pm. I asked the staff if they were preparing to close or if they were in a hurry. They seemed confused and I let them know it was because we were all not finished eating and they were clearing our plates. Overall, I've never been a huge fan of the food, but was hoping it was better and I really liked sitting outside. read more

A friend of mine (who's an avid sports fan) told me about "The Woods Jupiter" so we decided to try it for lunch after a morning of hitting golf balls at the Abacoa Driving Range this Valentine's Day. We made a reservation on Open Table and they even called the day prior to confirm our reservation. Upon arrival, we had no wait and were seated outdoors which we requested. The grouper sandwich was MOUTHWATERING! I had the fish grilled (blackened was the other option) and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I choose to take off the red onion, just a personal preference. The bread was some kind of toasted bun that was very buttery and soft, it tasted homemade. It got a little messy and I actually used my fork and knife to eat the last few bites. My boyfriend got to Waygu burger and felt it was perfectly cooked (medium). We both opted for the **truffle fries** and were pleased to say the least. Our waitress could not have been sweeter!! Our food came out fast, together and it was all presented very nicely. Next time, I'd choose to get bottle water because the tap water tasted a little "off," but that's me just being picky. The bathroom was very clean and luxurious with tall ceilings, dark walls, nice doors, stylish sinks and classy one time use hand towels with their logo. My only "negatives" are as follows: the view from the back patio was not very desirable. The view was basically a parking lot and the front drive where we watched all the cars come/go into the valet area. We enjoyed watching the cars, but others may not as much. Also, we were charged $20 for the Waygu burger instead of the advertised $18 on their brunch menu. No big deal, so I'll still give 5 stars because overall the experience was quite lovely. You can valet for $8 or park in the parking garage right next door (first 2 hours are free). We choose to valet. We'll DEFINITELY be back! read more

you would be better to find an old outback, spend $150 less per person and maybe get an edible meal. the lotus baby iceberg.. suppose to be baby iceberg, heirloom tomatoes, slivered onions, blue cheese dressing (handmade) and bacon.... instead it was a half a head of regular iceberg (not baby), tasteless grape tomatoes (doubt ful on the heirloom claim), unevenly chopped red onions (hint, slivered would have been nicer, red onions are strong), creamy dressing with a a few tiny nubs of blue cheese and the coupe de grace... soy bacon bits.... seriously wow. then my ribeye came, half covered in a gravy.. the waiter told it was the au jus.. was not ordered, was not wanted and look disgustting.. and in what world is an 80$ char grilled ribeye something to dump a bunch of gravy on. they took it back... same steak returned, now cold, glob of butter on top, no firm char.. and a sick burnt sugar chemical taste.... my guess is the sick gravy has some sugar in it, they washed the gravy off and cooked it for a moment.. nasty. also had the brussel sprouts... hint, when thay as big as gold balls, they need to acrually cook for a while... raw and inedible with flabby bacon.. ugh service was excellent, wine list is pretty good.... i was really hungry so ate a bit, enjoyed my wine, learned my lesson... and left. never returning.... hope the nice servers get a job someplace else soon read more

The ambiance is great and they have a wonderful private area for parties. Our service and waitstaff were fantastic. Now for the reason I give them 2 stars. The food is not tasty at all! I ordered a skirt steak with chimichurri and a side of Brussels sprouts. I could not eat the steak bc it was cold, and tasteless. Additionally it was extremely rare when I requested medium. To make matters worse, the chimichurri tasted like it was made from canned salsa chopped up and pickled. Our waiter was so kind, very professional, and asked what else I'd like instead. So I went safe and ordered a burger. Again, this wasn't a burger to write home about. It wasn't inedible like the steak, but my bun was microwaved to the point it was a blazing hot sponge that wouldn't cool off for 15 minutes. A lot of salt and Dijon mustard helped, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again. They need to explore using salt and seasonings to add flavor to their dishes. My friend ordered a salad and it looked delicious, so if you are forced to eat here maybe try a salad. read more

We have been coming to The Woods since they opened. Always a "go to" when we are in town from New York. While the ambiance and service continue to be 5 stars, the food has fallen off a cliff. The presentation, serving size and overall taste was terrible last night. I had fish tacos with fries. The fries were stale, not cooked. How do you screw fries up?! The tacos were as bland as can be. Most everyone at our table was disappointed with the food. Drinks were great, as was our server but Tiger or whoever is managing the kitchen needs to address this. read more
