She was so friendly and accommodating, I decided to had two gin martinis while I was there! I myself was delighted just watching her to do her magic behind the bar. So friendly and that was just what I needed after spending all day working with artificial intelligence. Add a glass of their Syrah or Pinot, and it doesn't get much better than that. You can tell Marco Cappelli is a master of his craft. They're sustainable, high-quality, well-made wines and unlike anything I've had before. I was there on the weekend and treated myself to their pizza, which was amazing! Perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the wine. I also tried their charcuterie platter, which was the perfect complement to the tasting. I loved how thoughtful their wine club is, too--it's a refillable bottle system, which makes it eco-friendly and super convenient. This spot is an absolute hidden gem, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Placerville.

Some friends invited us to join them for some wine tasting. There was plenty of parking when we…read moredrove up. We got there just a little after they opened. A few tables were already taken. There is an upper patio for tasting and a lower grassy area to enjoy food. We were greeted right away and told to choose a table and they would bring the tasting menu and some glasses. Jeff was our host and he was very enthusiastic. There is a good selection and we tasted about 5 wines. Whites and reds were both good. While tasting the winery cat came by to say hello. We bought a couple of bottles and took one down to the lawn area to enjoy our picnic. The grounds are very nice and there were quite a few people there by the time we started eating our lunch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Jeff for a good tasting experience.
